- Sky has become a horror game and I'm very scared to play it. What happened to the fun, chill, relaxing game that I knew?

I did this series of quests without seeing the trailer. Was terrifying at first. Then, just as I thought everything was safe, I see the creepy big guy, or “daddy krill”… I started crying the rest of the time I did the tasks…
That was a crazy quest. I did see the trailer so I knew what to expect but when I was doing the second last quest, it was spooky. I couldn’t believe that this was sky haha

I literally got so bored that I just decided to finish all the Season of Abyss quests a few days ago lol

Hey kk Eden running is very good ❤ it's good fun AND it's VERY USEFUL I got 42 ascended candles IN A MONTH also do weekly if not the statues won't have time to reset

You did the fourth quest much better than me back when I was new to the game. I lost my oxygen, wings, got krilled and obtained underwater trauma for a good while hahahah
Since the tip with the underwater exploration helped, I believe you'll find gliding mode much easier now since the directions during flights are pretty much the same. You direct your sky kid where you're facing in the camera. Looking forward to your next video as always, it was a nice watch today as well. Have a nice day, Kk. I remember doing the quest for the first time as a moth, and the anxiety of that quest before the last one...oh I felt like crying😭. Especialy since I have a strong fear of those things. I warned a friend of mine to not do that quest without me...they did...and now they knew the reason why😖😣
I understand you. Just the whole setting was scary. Like the alarms that kept blaring with the red lights

I'm really liking your take on this particular season, you're more focused on acting like you're part of that crew and also feeling so happy and mesmerised with the underwater world, just like the previous video. It's so nice seeing you interact with the marine life and getting used to the diving feature!
I think your shift in tension and fear could've been affected by the trailer and the previous knowledge you were given so that creates expectations. But of course those quests do create a big fear of the unknown and you can drown if you don't pay attention, like in reality, so it's normal that you are scared. Thank you for taking it like a champ for all of us, we'll meet the king of krills soon enough. I can't wait Kaptain
Also, definitely that ending is the epitome of the phrase "I've won but at what cost?" hopefully the next episode on the season of abyss has a good ending.

I'm really enjoying this season as well, especially the diving mechanism which is great. I love the underwater. Also because I'm curious for the final quest where we face off against daddy krill. That's gonna be a lot of fun
You're right. Watching that trailer beforehand ruined the suspense for me but still when you're in the moment, the feelings are similar
Planning on doing the final quest soon. Hope we can have a good ending with this one.

Seeing big daddy krill for the first time when I did these quests had me like "WTF IS THAT THING?!" (this was before I knew what the krill were called lol) and wishing to get the heck out of there XD
I think I might have made a mistake by watching the trailer before doing the quests cause I knew what was gonna happen. But in saying that, when we're in the moment, similar feelings do come up. So I guess it's fine

THIS QUEST! GOD DAMMIT I HATE THIS SO MUCH! Literally the part where you have to past 2 krills, is most terrifying quest!
Yeah I was trying to find another way out. I thought I could maybe go back the way I came from, but no. You gotta swallow your fear and go through those krills
time for Mister Cuddles ! :D ( yup, that's the name I gave for daddy krill. love giving cute or even fancy and funny french names ( as a french person some french names are funny- ) to scary monsters. X) )
I can't complete the 3rd quest. I can't seem to control my oxygen without feeling suffocated and having thalassophobia isn't helping at all. Krill on land is definitely better. Nah nah I'll never dive there.
Awe that's a horrible feeling! I would not want to force you but if you need a buddy to help with those quests or any other feel free to reach out to someone you trust! I like to help players as well

I love the season of abyss but damn can it be scary.
I love how versitle sky can be when it comes to story telling. Its setting allows for both frightening and wholesome moments and this season is proof of it. I do wish they'd use the swimming mechanic a bit more and perhaps revisit seasonal areas like treasure reef a bit more though
Yes that’s true. You have a wide range of experiences while playing sky
TGC has done a great job in that regard
Oh also, there's a winged light under water and high above the tower (I guess you already know the spot but I'm gonna explain anyway) the underwater part is near the highest tower, there's a hole near it surrounded by idk what it is like a pilar or something, dive down the stairs until you see a gate you had to open. There's a clam near winged light that you can pick up to restore your oxygen under water. (comment was placed around 9:25 so I haven't finished watching yet but wanted to tell you this anyway 😂)
Edit: 13:51 this is the under water winged light I was talking about. Instead of going to the mantas place, look back and there's a gate you can open.
Playing this area is one of the first times this game has given me true fear. Other than forgetting to candle run for a day but that's a different kind of fear.
Haha yes the fomo is strong when you realise you didn't grind for one day 😅 hopefully that's what you were thinking

Season of abyss was definitely my 3rd favorite. It was such a cool season with an amazing experience. I unfortunately missed some of the season cosmetics😅
