This swipe on the corner to access the controls and switching between notifications and controls is something that was present on Cyanogenmod of Android up to KitKat, quite before the swipe on the corner debuted on iOS. It's good to see them going looking back for good ideas.
But we all know they are not actually "going looking back for good ideas", it's just that since now it's a trend among all the Chinese skins to be as close to iOS as possible, and when your biggest competitor(HyperOS) has done it, you must implement it too. I genuinely wonder how much, if any, role does Oneplus actually have in creating or designing the ColorOS-OxygenOS base from scratch, in the sense that they seem to only modify OxygenOS slightly, to "look" different from ColorOS, but in reality it's mostly just Oppo engineers doing the from scratch work.

Why call oxygen OS.. it's colour os.i don't like colour os
More like OxygeniOS
Say whatever you want, but iOS-fied Oxygen OS 15 is shit. Stock Android is way to go with added features such as Nothing , Moto as of now.
Ok dude. whatever you want.
but I am NOT taking this OOS15 looking like iOS slander
Danm you have your displays looking horrendous on the op12 and iphone
So basically just copy Apple
This comment section is so biased.
OnePlus then 🗿
OnePlus now 🤡
Seeing companies copy the dynamic island immediately in software on Android is downright embarrassing.
Trust me after update my oneplus 12 is more smoother than iphone 16pro max ui
As an Apple junkie, just realized that Android Innovates Apple reiterates. Android here I come.
This Android reviewers don't use iPhone, yet they call the Dynamic Island a gimmick. Do yourself a favor, grab an iPhone and see how many things are now integrated into the Dynamic Island and presenting a really useful feature, just Uber as an example. 🙄
anybody know which ui got shitty miui and it got new name hyperos, what a shitty joke
What?
I have never been first before 🤭
You weren't
And never will be.
Those unlock screens look so ridiculous. These are 1000€ phone and this looks like its made for 12 years old.
