I just found this game last night after just searching for free simulators on Xbox game pass. Played for a couple hours so far and it’s been a lot of fun. As a do it yourself car guy it scratches that part of my brain. Great relaxation and can’t wait to stream it on Twitch.
when you get your own car it helps to know that if when accelerating it spins out put the biggest tyres possible in the back 355s may look stupid but some cars once they have upgraded engines gearbox etc they are just simply too powerful (use race tyres in front and slicks in the back change depending on if the car is fwd or rwd)

I just started this game a week ago and I have made the mistake of removing the radiator without draining the liquid 🤦🏽♂️ this game is a lot of learning but very fun
There were a couple of times where I had to be a chop shop and sell pieces of cars to make money to finish big story job ha. I felt terrible. Then I had to repair the cars I tore apart and it was an ugly cycle that was hard to break.
I've had to do the same thing...especially when I started my playthrough on the hard mode. Things cost more on hard mode so there were plenty of times that I was barely scraping by with just a few bucks to finish a job out. I had to resort to doing the simplest of jobs like just changing oil/fluids or selling parts off of other vehicles it was working with to scrape up enough cash to fix up one car.
Another thing to build on using the tools to make XP is to examine the car before you start. One it will show you some of what needs fixing but also for everything you examine you get 1 XP. I've easily made over 100XP from a car just by spending the time to do this.

So I remember that on car mechanic simulator I2018 there was a table in which you can repair Damaged parts , now you need like an expansion on your shop ?

How do you get your parts that you need to show up to make shopping easier? I am getting annoyed by going back and forth to check what part I need. And how do I check tire size?
to check tyre size either take a tyre off and read the number in the item list. or open the option wheel go to car info and there should be tyre size. to make a shopping list i remove all the bad bits then go into item list and there should be an option to add to shopping list. its been a while since i played but i might return to this
There should be a button you can press that will "Add" a part to your shopping list. This can be used on parts in your inventory or by moving your cursor over a part on the actual car itself. After you add it to your shopping list, open up the shop you need. There should be another button prompt to pull up your shopping list. From there, just select the parts from your shopping list and it will pull up the part you select immediately to buy in the store (Provided you are on the right store page). This makes it much faster and easier when buying parts because you can select a part you need from your list and it will pull that part up immediately in the store menu instead of you having to search manually for everything. This also works for your tires. If you select a tire and add it to your shopping list, it records the tire sizes for that tire. When you pull up the tire menu in the shop, you can pull up your shopping list to see exactly what type of tire you need and what sizes you need. Just remember to either remove a part from your list or clear your list out after you have bought what you need. Otherwise you might end up adding new parts to an old list and end up buying more parts that you didn't need on accident.

Steam Market, Mods and modders? I am confused, do you mean the DLC which is on sale for this game or external mods made by the community like from Nexus mods maybe?
so steam market are mods made by modders who add different cars into the game.. there is also a app for your computer called we mod which has "cheat mods" for the game like all experience points and so on

After you complete story jobs, you are rewarded with a "crate". It's basically like a loot box that has you pick 2 cards from a stack of 5. You can get either: bonus money, bonus scrap, bonus exp, a barn find location, or a bonus crate. If you pull a barn location from the crate, it adds a little map to your inventory. If you use the map, it adds it to your overall count of "barn finds" when you select the map next to the garage door. At first, you only get crates either after you complete a story mission or as a reward from opening a crate. But eventually, when you upgrade your skills and perk, there is one that makes it so there is a small chance you are rewarded a crate for completing any job, not just story missions.
u cna clean the interior and change the seats and steering wheel. thats about it unless u get a modded car from the workshop on steam a s apc user and some of them have been known to change the interior completely

Hello, it's possible to restore the interior of a car? Thanks!
u cna clean the interior and change the seats and steering wheel. thats about it unless u get a modded car from the workshop on steam a s apc user and some of them have been known to change the interior completely
On cms 2018 the Mitsubishi eclipse was called a sakura moon, and on this game it's called the hinata moon 😂 I guess some of the game devs are naruto fans 🙀
i get that feeling as well
If you read this i just buy game i was playing and then my colors just turned blue like why if yiu know plz explain
if ur on pc sounds like a graphic card issue to me
@@Hybridsteel that was fast responding thanks mby you know how to fix it?
i aint got a clue man im really sorry iv never had the issue before. might be worth scouring a subreddit or something for a solution and a few screenshots for someone to look at.
I bought all the tools nd work bench but still says, "upgrade renovator 6 " whenever I try to use it
have you upgraded all of the levels so renovation is level 6 apart from that i honestly dont know just make sure u have maxed out the entire tool box really
What's a 'Multimer'?.... Multi-Meter...
yep i know i laughed this in editing as i couldnt change it so iv had a few comments about this i still dont know why i was calling it a multimer but least i know that
1. people watch the video
2. they interact with it and ill be getting this message for years to come as it will haunt me
@@Hybridsteel I actually gave you the benefit of the doubt and assumed this was simply a UK slang lol great video!
That first story missions, you have to change like the entire car?
it is a lot of work but its not that hard if you think the first car is bad cars 21 through 24 are basically engine breakdowns and refurb an entire block
Mulltimer XD Multi-meter!!!!
yep i know this is gonna haunt me for the entirety of my life now but i still dont know why i was calling it a multimer.. worst part is even when i edited this i didn't pick up on it.
Multi - meter
just watching this back now i have no idea why i was calling it what i did.
@@Hybridsteel 😂 great videos keep them coming I realised today that after adding parts to the part list once you bring it up in the shop if you click on the part it takes you straight to it which it’s great for me
@@theweechable yeah iv praised that function in a few videos and my live streams it saves so much time.. thanks for the comment though it means a lot that u enjoyed the video even though i ballsed up
@@Hybridsteel oh they are really helpful I’m just going through the story videos .. if you get chance though once your ready to complete the order slow down on the completed parts list - there’s nearly always one I’ve missed and I normally have to play pause rewind pause … you get the picture 😂
in most of the videos from about number 3 onwards i am reading out the list to give the viewer more time to see and pause.
Mold timer?
yep i messed up and i still to this day dont know why i used to use a multi meter in my old job
What are the blue points
blue points are scrap or salvage this is for upgrading car parts to make them worth a bit more.. i have a video coming out soon showing them in full swing
@@Hybridsteel oh ok thank you and also how do u repair stuff, I have max skill for it but I'm too stupid to realize what it does and how to do it
reparing parts you use the work benches in the side section of the garage
How do put the led lights on?
what led's?
@@Hybridsteel it’s something in the adons catagory or is it mabye only for ps4
u mean the led light bars... they are normally only added to certain cars
Yes
multimeter my friend... multi.... meter...
and if you read all the comments it was my screw up. when i used to work in a factory i used to use one every day for signal testing so not sure why i said it like this.. on the plus side least i know u watched the video
@@Hybridsteel didnt mean to insult you. I thought it was kind of funny, and maybe you just misread the name of the tool.
@@KingUnity22 nah i just ballsed up honestly
How Am I just hearing about cms mods
i hav e no idea as their normally found in steam store and usually there's a lot of them
Not multimer, it’s multi meter. Multimeter! 👍🏻
yep check out the other comments. i used to work with one and i have no idea to this day why i called it a mull timer in this video... i dont think ill ever live this down
im not into cars but great video
its all good man as long as long as u enjoyed it thats the main thing as if you enjoyed it then ur enjoying the videos not just the thing about the cars.
Fix a car for $100 and then sell it when you’re done
little hard mate as most cars are multiple fixes that will cost more than $100
I NEED to see how many hours this man has in CMS21!!!!!!!
cms 2021 - 233.2 hours.
@@Hybridsteel Thank you so much for the reply! I coincidentally have 283.8 hours, haha. But I was so sure you might have 10,000+ because you know so much more about Tips, Tricks, etc... then I do. 😄
nope for me its all about can it be simple to explain so everyone can learn so that helps.
The Multimer?
yep because im a moron and pronounced it wrong.. i dont know why as i used to use one in my old job.
Ah haha! All good man. Great vid btw, Very helpful for a first timer (Me).
Multimer??
yep brand new state of the art multimer get urs now at wish dot com hahahahahaha
Multi Meter! MULTI METER! NOT MUL TIMER!
omg its a MULTI METER
yep not the first person to say this and wont be the last ... not sure why i was calling it that a si use one for a hobby of mine
I have 134 creds can you help me I'm so poor and I can't fix anything 😞
u have to watch my other video on how to get money, but in short u have to basically do jobs like refill liquids again
"multimeter" not "multime" 😀
yep iv replied to quite a few now saying i still have no idea why i called it that
@@Hybridsteel great video btw, I learnt loads.
Am I the only one think the horrible photoshop filter graphics make this game look worst than 2018?
hoenstly i thought that to start but over time it grows on you.. then go back and play 2018 coz man that looks janky after playing this.
Multi-Meter*
Yep so many people have pulled me up on this and you want to know the worst part.. I used one of these at my old job for 10 years and never called it what i did in this video
@@Hybridsteel Sorry, wasn't trying to be a smart arse, it just confused the hell out of me 😂
nah its ok man. i chalk it up to me being a pleb sometimes
why does it keep saying engine cant start
could be no oil.
starter
fusess
relays
alternator
spark plugs
anything really.
Build a car for $100
Buy a car for you for $100 then fix it
Buy a car for $100 and then fix it
And this is impossible even in the junkyard auction iv never seen a car for $100 cheapest i brought a war was about $1000
