*In my opinion they should have painted the whole thing blue instead of yellow in the front I don't understand why they did yellow in the front but either that it's still nice I honestly thought it was fake when it was first revealed until I saw videos of it on UA-cam I was like there's no way I guess I was proving wrong still nice that other railroad companies are honoring Conrail*
They are definitely gonna do New York central system like they had running on the Putnam railroad line in 1958. The Putnam railroad line tracks shouldn't be never been taken down the train tracks. At all. All they had to do is leave the train tracks alone and just do the trailer along side the train tracks just like maybrook Connecticut has. God for bit if the Hudson lines has a flood again the CXS could definitely run over there where the put used to run. The last Putnam railroad fraigt trains ran back in 1982. That was a big waste of money ripping up the train tracks. Just like the 8 Thrid Avenue and ninth Ave Elevated line.
That is the most beautiful ConRail heritage locomotive I’ve ever seen on a passenger carrier it looks amazing I also can’t help but notice that the closest track to the Hudson river is out of service with extended platforms, going over it to track 2 where the train stopped for the longest while the P32AC-DM locomotives carried only the heritage colors of the New Haven but now I’m very happy to see that they’re starting to bring out the other fallen flag predecessors that make up the Metro-North commuter system
If people are wondering why there is a yellow front, this Conrail scheme is based off of the old Conrail FL9 paint scheme. Those FL9s had the yellow front.
@@FanRailer It's a wrap!? It's not a paint job!? This is like when I found out the tooth fairy wasn't real! I'm done. It's a wrap for me. #SarcasmDisclaimer
E bells are generally easier to maintain and don’t freeze up in the winter. If the Amtrak dual modes stick around long enough, they will also get e bells.
@@FanRailer Yeah, I guess you have a point. But still, I hope to travel to New York someday to catch the two units along with some of the Phase III Heritage Units.
That Conrail Heritage P32 looks impeccable until the paint shines. Nice capture! Greetings Fan Railer!👍
It’s a wrap but what do you think the next heritage unit color will be?

Because the conrail F units had the yellow nose
From Ohio, I was at Scarborough last Friday. Too bad they didn't lauch the Conrail scheme then. Glad you got to see it!
Nice video love it!
Awesome shots of 201! I saw it double headed with 208
Great heritage catch and excellent video
I *LOVE* how the first line of your description in all caps is “READ.”
#READingIsFundamental
Lmao word. My biggest pet peeve here is when someone asks something I already answered in the description.
@@FanRailer I'd buy Fan Railer merch with "READ" on it.
Awesome catch!
Great captures! Smart to bring a ladder to film over the shore side fence.
That looks good!
Excellent catch!
Welcome Metro North's Conrail heritage P32AC-DM!!!!
Thats epic
Let's find out if 228-231 will be in the CTRail livery
They should make either a Penn Central Or New York Central paint scheme
Yes it would be nice for them to do a New York Central painted unit.

That looks pretty sweet. Don’t understand why so many people hate how it looks
They most likely don't realize that Conrail actually painted their commuter units this way.
I love how the early iterations of the Comet Cab Car took their styling cues from the famous ACMU.

I have a real spriital feeling that they are gonna paint one of the genies in New York central system I'm telling you right now for real.
Probably one of the new haven p32AC paint scam of the Gp38s new haven paint scame I'm telling you.
I definitely don't see nothing wrong with the Conrail Metro North paint scam at all. This Conrail heritage looks the barm I'm telling you.
Wow nice catch! That Conrail heritage P32 is perfection!
Awesome catch dude
Nice to see that 201 got an E-Bell.
You really prefer that canned recorded sound over the real thing?
That looks good. I first saw a photo and thought it was a Photoshop but no it's actually real.
Love The Paint Job. Probably my Favorite ConRail Heritage.
Great catch!
201 looks great!
What would be neat to see even though it won’t happen is 201 go down the old beacon branch while the conrail logo is on it.
Awesome catch and Railfan Video 👍👍👍👍👍🚂
How in the world is it having issues already 💀
It’s not a new unit it’s just repainted
Technically, it’s wrapped lol, but yes. Apparently 201 was a problem child before it got reskinned.

thats a nce paint scheme, i wonder why there's yellow at the front tho
I actually like Metro North's Conrail Heritage unit. It really fits with the P32AC-DM.
Nice seqquences
Will I be able to see this at GCT?
Yes you will definitely see the Conrail Metro North railroad genies I'm telling you. Just like you see the 208 FL9 diesels paint sceem metro North.
203 could definitely be painted to new York central system because the paint sceem is fading away
Great to see more heritage livery including my personal favourite which Conrail blue. Excellent video 👍
2:23 2 heritage units at once! What a shot of those together. It’s cool to see a Conrail P32. Look likes it could pull freight lol…
It's A P32DC-AM Metrail
It’s Metro-Rail Railroad
Conrail-North
Contro-North Railroad
The horn sounds a little strange
I didn't know the P32ACDM's had e bells
There are at least seven P32s known to have E-Bells. I believe 201 here is the newest addition that list.
Let’s hope the Amtrak P32ACDM’s don’t get the E-Bell treatment just like the Metro North engines. Cause I like them with their GE Bells.

P32DC-AM freight engine lol
