- Are you at the stage where you need to aim for 8K legion in maplestory or is it too early? Most mid-game players should not be aiming for 8k legion as a goal blindly. 8K legion should be a goal, but it's worth noting these few things before you try too hard for 8k legion.

I was already mentally exhausted by the time I hit 7.2-7.3k, thankfully I managed to hit 7.5k thanks to the Blooming event recently that gave tons of extreme growth pots. dk if I’ll even bother going for 8k tho, ngl there’s been far too many times in my journey of grinding mules where I nearly reached my breaking point and wanted to give up :’/
Yea, take it easy. It's a long game to play. Not a sprint, but a marathon

The only blocker for 8k Legion is level 170-190. Everything else is just fine but there are just garbage training areas for those 20 levels. If you've been playing a while, the 210 link skills are easy because there's never a shortage of Tera burning events to get them to 210 since 201 is basically free from the EXP Stones from 5th job advancement, and 201-205 is just mindless grinding in VJ and then 205-210 is super quick because reverse city has amazing rates.
What would be the best order to do this for a new player? Link skills first, the the legion bonuses?
The only detail I found to be missing was something about Level 30 Empress Blessing from a Cygnus Knight class providing +30 weapon and magic attack to all other characters and the levels from that being part of what would be in the minimal requirements. I'm not sure if Blessing of the Fairy is from Explorers only or not(there were two level 200 Explorers you mentioned though)...

@@AgentC6H12O6 Yeah I think the empress one is better but it does not stack and only takes effect till a certain level. The explorer one lasts forever though.

A quick tip- for lvl 120 characters, you can take them on daily zakum for free levels
You can do it on 100 i think right

i think if u plan on making boss mules, 8k is a must, having the extra damage is amazing, and legion power for legions coins. Your legion coin cap also raises to 700 instead of 500 and less. i think its nice to have more coins generated then used, running out coins feels horrible. Also if ur me, you just take everything to a minimum of 200
Maybe one day. Idk how y’all do it. I am self aware enough to know that I am jealous of you. I really really don’t possess the ability to grind and grind and grind and grind. I struggle to get most classes to 141 before I burn out. I have a few classes that I absolutely love to 220+ however, classes that I loathe every second of playing such as but not limited to; phantom, Mercedes, Evan,Aran, I will most likely never get them to 210 unless I play long enough to get growths like crazy or run out of classes I want to burn. I just can’t force myself to play a class I can’t stand to play. :/

what classes take 2hrs to get from 200-210? currently on aran and its taking way longer with all exp buffs (not to be selective)
That's what I heard from a fellow guildie. I think the better mobbing classes, such as Kanna, and lumi and evan? Also assuming you 1 shot and have the max stack.
Kaiser can do 200-210 very quickly with 0 Nodestones because their 5th job skills have low cooldowns and great uptime. Hayato too for similar reasons
My DS got to 220 insanely fast but I heard a lot of people had a different experience
Keep in mind people often do daily Zak/Mag/Hilla/CHT on their mules to get them decently flamed gear before they do 200-220 on mules
I'm usually at 6-7k stats with lvl8 Arcane Force Hyper Stat
Exp Pots from job change + VJ preq + Dailies (with daily bonus) + VJ Monster Park + Reverse City + 1 Totem gets me there but I also have full link skills and every class 200+ for Legion
Aran CAN level very fast but you need a lot of Nodestones and/or amazing stats to fully use its high mobility training rotations and it's mechanically much harder than other classes. Mercedes is an even more extreme example of this.

It's just more of personal achievement. I gotten 9k but not much different compare to 8k.

So putting people onto the crit RATE is not recommended I take it? Asking, because I am lacking crit damage.
Usually not because you can get it elsewhere like hyper stats. The question you have to ask yourself is what am I trading off for this? A link skill, hyper, legion block, etc?

Make a 200 charatcer once every 2 weeks and just do that till 6k and then just take it slower as u go

You need it to not be constantly harassed by your guildies
Reached 8k before 250 so it’s easily doable if ya go for end game content
Leveling 39 characters u don’t wanna play to 200 is easy? You should look into selling accounts. Sounds fitting for u

Speaking as a 3PC meta player with 4 accounts in GMS Reboot (8350, 7900, 7500, and 220 legion), I also agree with your idea that 8K legion is not a must.
Still, I would recommend people to experience as many classes - at their own pace - to at least Lv.120 (for link skills), Lv.140 (for S tier legion blocks), and to 200 for SS tier and further more - because not only for legion/link skills, finding a class type that you like the most out of this game is also a very important task for all of maplers, unless you're going to main every class equally.
As a person who pursues efficiency, I leveled all three of my accounts to 7K legion and higher - just because I believed, and still do believe that if I am eventually gonna do it anyways, I should just do it - and of course, earlier the better.
However, 8K legion is not a must.
I've seen many who don't even have neither Lv. 3 link skills, nor 5K legion, but they're already running hard bosses like Hard Will, Hard Lucid, and even Verus Hilla (mid-end bosses).
Although their hard works and time spent to achieve those gears and progression cannot and should NOT be underestimated, but they still proved that 8K legion is not a must, and there are far more options to get stronger (Daily symbols, 5th Job skill boost, Familiar, Cubing, Flaming, and Star forcing).
Breifly speaking, as I've been repeatedly said that 8K legion is not a must; I would still highly encourage others to aim for 8K Legion - just so that they could also experience every class to Lv. 200, and learn to know what combat styles and characteristics they prefer.
Tip: KMS is still on a progress to make Mega burning packages available through Daily Fairy Bros, and more Tera burnings upcoming!
Just another note that KMS is intending to release more male/female distinguished illustrations for each class, and their unique voices too! - presumably on upcoming months in summer and falls!
So, stick around and wait to see how MapleStory is still changing and growing! 😆

I used 1 Kanna (Kishin) + 1 Phantom (Buffs) meta since 2019,
(Rage / Meditation + Holy Symbol + Sharp Eyes / Speed Infusion)
but after Bishop's nerf on holy symbol and Kanna's Kishin,
I'm using the benefit of my 3 account's mains to boss carry each other's mules
with higher drop rates (C.Zak, H.Hilla, H.Mag, N. Lomien, etc).
Also, I can keep my training spot with another one if one goes dc.
@@TalesKursped why do ur mules need 8k legion tho... Also if u did this in regular server it would make sense since u can use legion shop to make items and use/sell.

Dude I like your videos. I do. But I had to stop watching this one about halfway thru when you said 200 to 210 is 2 hours. I've been doing my VJ and RC dailies for over a week now using MVP 1.5x and a 2x coupon and I'm still only fresh into 209...
Dailies dont really give much exp. You'd have to hardcore train with fz, 2x and all other multipliers. If you hate training, you can also do maple variety type of events that give fantastic exp for lv 200 mules/mains.
Edit: actually, a week of dailies get you 209 is pretty good exp o.o, since I assume you aren't fz'd and buffed and what not... Dailies take what? 15 mins per day? 15 x 7, less than 2hrs?
@@ClanKaiserGMS I wasn't just doing dailies in that example.
But I just spent an hour on my Adele at Below The Cave and only went from 201 12%, to 203 72%. That was with MVP 1.5x, MVP 2x, Pendant 1.2x (wasn't at 3 hours yet) and 2 runes during that time. Theres no way you're going from 200 to 210 in just 2 hours. Even if I had a totem and had a CS 2x card from regular server to add to all my others, I sincerely doubt I'd even get to 208, let alone 210. And even if you're trying to include a CS 2x card, that's *only* available in regular servers which is less than half of the games population. So I doubt that's what you were thinking.
@@snogard106 i'm working on 8k legion rn, i got my DA (which is an awful class to train) from 200-202 in like 30 mins. If you're doing 1 hour 2 ish levels on an ADELE, you're doing something wrong.

Telling people to get lvl 3 links before 8k legion is not smart. 8k legion is easier than lvl3 links.
How so? How many hours do you invest per lv3 link vs going 140-200 on 15 other characters?
If u find it difficult, dont play maple. Lv 3 link skill only require to lv 210, whats so difficult??? Go play other games then.
I did it and I’m above 8k and not done a few lv3 links still
