- Time to move on to a new biome. Where should I go next? What fresh wonders await me?
Be mindful that I'd like to experience as much of this fresh as possible. No spoilers please.

Wow...straight off the bat. That was totally unexpected. Usually that happens down the line and can happen anywhere. Cracking video. I will just say that in those situations, your new best friend is a fast weapon and shield of your choice and stamina potions. The sledge is too slow. Also mountains and night = nightmare (or maybe mountainmare night or even marenight mountain or even possibly nightmountain mare.
You mean the attack? Groovy, so it’s a new event that happens anytime 😫
I feel like if they surround you then AoE is the best choice. That, + height. Will think on the strategy.

Thinking back on the attack, there was a place I might have been able to go but I couldn’t see it through the weather.
I know pigs certainly do drink beer so I suspect they would do fine with mead also! 🍻
That tears it, we need to find a Celebration Boar mascot again. I’ll give him his own celebration horn.
The right kind of defence and fast enough weapons are your best friends when the "you are being hunted" event happens (or, sometimes, fast&smart thinking). Generally the key is to keep killing the wolves asap before they are able to surround you. If you know how to deal with it, this event is not particularly dangerous, in fact it is the easiest way to farm a lot of "wolf resources" really fast, but the first encounter usually is harsh. There are also other ways how to use wolf attacks to your advantage, but I leave that for you to discover in due time.
Once the strategy is down they shouldn’t be too bad. We’ll see how the next encounter plays out 😬
oof, yeah, everyone dies the first time (or several times) they encounter the 'You are being hunted' event. There are multiple strategies for dealing with it, I'm sure you will figure something out.
Yeah, I’m having a good think on that one, definitely needs a little more thought on strategy. I have some ideas to try out.

Hi Blondie.. just a tip to help with inventory. Trophies, for the most part, are not needed to be hoarded. Some are needed for recipes but after you have completed the item ( and any upgrades) they are just for decoration. So no sense in keeping boxes and boxes of greydorf trophies etc. The iron sledge is a good example. Once you complete it with the dragur elite trophy no need to keep them from then on. I guess the one exception to this is to use them in the obliterator but I never saw the need, especially with all the kilns you have. Also the same of the above can be said of boss summoning items... unless you want to summon Bonemass 50 times ( not sure why one would) you don't need the bones.
I technically wouldn’t know that on a blind playthrough, but thanks for the tip. Perhaps I’ll get creative and start mounting them everywhere. 😂
But they're an in game reward. One can always obliterate them once a full stack is collected. May Odin smile upon you.
Being hunted is just like any other event, except...

Now now, I survive being hunted probably around 95% of the time, at least 90%, and I play on hard to very difficult settings. There is a strategy for almost anything. If there is an event that can catch me out though, it is being hunted.
Because you don’t control the situation, and getting swarmed by anything is often a death sentence.
I don't bother with boar husbandry when playing solo, its so easy to hunt . . . but its great if you are playing multiplayer and trying to outfit and feed a team of half a dozen hungry Vikings however!
I haven't played multiplayer but the husbandry makes more sense for gameplay style.
I’m glad to hear others say it. Hunting feels like a better use of time, personally, but I can see how it’s powerful for a group.

I also agree. If you can get a two star boar its worth but otherwise not needed. + you need to protect them (strong pen and a roof) or later game raids will absolutely annihilate them. This is also a hit for later husbandry.. just a FYI. ;)
