I don't usually comment on UA-cam sections but I have to tell you Matt, this video was very practical and useful for me as a 21 year old who's building a community.
A lot of these tips gave me the boost, confidence & confirmation that I'm on the right track.
Really appreciate the time you took to distill a decades worth of knowledge in such short, concise way. Again, thank you.

I have a question. In finding a mentor, where can I find those people that I can resonate with and do you have to pay them? (I think you have to) anyone can suggest? Thanks alot!

I like your content and is subscribed to your newsletter too. I am 20 but, have still not embarked on any entrepreneurial journey so far probably I am way too overwhelmed even by the idea of it, and creators like you and Dan Koe do provide a lot per minute on the internet. But, frankly I do have a constructive criticism to make. Most of the content is great for people who have started out. I see people around me ,including me wanting to grow but there are fundamental ques and dilemma which no body seems to talk about. Like mindfulness or sleep is really a thing when starting out? .... When to know I have enough skills to start out?.... Honestly I don't even know what my Ikigai is so now what?...... and many more. I am NOT talking about general go to answers , I am talking about answer which have a subtle experiential detail which these go to answers miss.
Basically I look for real practical subtle How rather than What. Btw You are great.

I just wrote my comment and I see you now. I agree bro. Also well done on starting this when you are 20 I'm 35 and still can't figure it out. To add to your line of thought. most people would say just pick something and start. I'm also afraid of picking something and it then becomes what I'm known for which I don't like. my problem is how to even get your finances set up correctly. with a company and stuff. Business has been going on for so long that I'm sad that there isn't a standard template out there. a UA-camr's frame is different from navigating a local businessman in your area. I found that your life needs to be broken down into realms. personal, finance, business, relationships, health&fitness. If we can get everyone to agree on these realms advice flows correctly into these funnels. Next is creating a yearly road map. divide your hours per day and make sure each hour is accounted for for a set period. so example for the next month I want to wake up at 5am. if this is on a Google sheet you can mark it as green for yes or red for no....at the end of the month you can see how many times you met your goal. where to improve. wish there was something like this for all the mini-things matt is talking about.

My gf and I run a fitness studio and just hired our first trainer… we’re looking to grow in the holistic fitness and holistic nutrition/detox space. How would you suggest going about this while balancing our schedules of training clients, marketing, sales etc.

I’d suggest hiring someone to help you with the areas you don’t want to do and then open up space to focus on the areas you want to lean into. Also check out:

Hi Matt, ive stumbled upon your channel a month ago and got really impressed by your life story. How you went from really terrible circumstances, where you were struggling with your roommate to simply provide for your living, to a more balanced and fullfilling life, where you grow and prosper. I'm currently 18 y.o programmer, really excited about the field and got hooked by the idea of storytelling you've mentioned in this video, as i think I will need it in my nearest future. I believe this is type of a skill that cannot be gained through passive reading. That's why I ask if you can tell me what steps I need to make to acquire it? You do it very cool and I genuinely want to know how) (also, hope my english is understandable enough to you, cuz I'm not native and didn't use autocorrect)

Hi Matt, I love this video. it has a lot of meat. it's a full-house buffet. you have a lot of great points here but I want to say how I interpret this whole thing. So I see the fruits of everything that you are talking about but to be honest, you and everyone else do the same thing. you guys hook us on with your 10-step rule but often forget that we are watching this for a reason. we have at least 9 other guys that we admire but everyone has a different 10-step process. This makes it impossible to follow or act on. I have only ever seen this done right in one place. Not sure if you have heard of Chris Do from the futur. he has a series called Build a Brand. Instead of sitting in front of a camera explaining stuff they take the opportunity to create multiple episodes to show the process from start to end. it's just brilliant. this stuff is great but it's hard to act on. It's also harder to act on when you are in a different country that doesn't have many aspects you guys have.
