That is Kathy, Geoff's wife. She's appeared in at least 2 other videos: She was in Voiceplay "Daddy Sang Bass" and was also one of the gossipy girls in "Boy Bands in 5 Minutes". If you watch this back carefully you will see her flinch when he hits that low note LOL. I've already watched about 20 reactions to this...I am surprised nobody has commented on the hearbeat tone at the beginning. It really set the ambiance for the song

Oh, I caught onto the heart beat within the first couple of beats 💓. I heard only one response that also heard it. Plus, the knee flinch was a "dead" giveaway that she was there. 😆 I also had realized the three other Geoffs were Dracula, Wolfman and the Monster from the beginning.
There's Frankenstein's chain clink as well that is subtle as well

LOL, I enjoyed your reaction and know how it is. I had muscle relaxers years ago and when they kicked in I was still in pain but had a laughing fit that lasted for 10 days.
If I wanted to watch a video without pauses and comments I could just go to Geoff's page and listen to it again there. Its the reactions and comments that are great with these kind of videos! Very enjoyable video :)
I agree...Well said...I think I've watched 5 or 6 different reactors and they all react uniquely and pick up different things....
Geoff has said elsewhere “Did you pick up on the "la la la" section? It's Bach's toccata and fugue in d minor, just shuffled and swung”. That might interest you. I first watched the patrons only version which was a static wide shot, so we got to see the dancing in its entirety and I laughed from start to finish. Just so hilarious. I've read that the choreography represents the monster strongling. the wolfman slashing, Dracula wrapping his cape around him and also hugging his bat wings around himself. Brilliantly done.
I had assumed the choreography was the Monster or Zombie, then Wolfman, then Dracula, then The Mummy.
It's really difficult to make that connection if you aren't tipped off to it, because of the pacing. Not to mention that lightness of the "La La La"s as opposed to a pipe organ. Once you hear it, though...
Also, the piano bit at the end is “Für Elise.”

@@bjspeck4337, actually, I’d say it was rather mildly out of tune. I’ve heard, and played, pianos that were MUCH more out of tune than that.
This was my first exposure to Geoff Castellucci in Oct 21 since Monster Mash is my favorite Halloween song, I had to listen. Then I had to listen to everything else the man had done, followed by VoicePlay, followed by Pentatonix as well. What a revelation. I go to the reactors channels to watch you all enjoy this incredible work. Sometimes it multiplies the glee that I feel for these performances. So thank you - and I don't mind if you break in to giggle or enlighten. It all adds. I can go back to VoicePlay and watch it if I need to see and hear it without interruptions.
Oh Mortius, you just made my night watching your “sleep deprived, legally drugged up” antics here. It is so endearing that I sat here dying and splitting my sides!
I love how the "wolfman" version of Geoff is "scratching @ fleas" occasionally & also doing the cha cha throughout & the "stongling" monster does the "floss" dance @ the end whilst the Dracula version of Geoff does the style like he's back in the middle ages & asking for the dance. LOVE LOVE LOVE this Geoff vid (or should I say Vlad???) LOL

This isn't Geoff's lowest forward-facing note. For that you'll hve to check out Voiceplay's newly released cover of the Halo theme. LOVED this song and what Geoff did with it. His wife Kathy was the woman in the video. She did the makeup for it too. Outstanding work all around! Enjoyed your reeaction Mortius! Even with the sleepy, painkiller-induced silliness :D
By forward-facing, I mean at the front of the arrangement. While he does go lower in halo, it’s buried in harmonies, not front and center like this one :) But thank you for the compliments on the video, I’m glad everyone enjoyed!
@@officialmortius I don't know, that B0 he drops in Halo is pretty much out on its own before the others come in with the harmonies.
The low note IS a D1, but he also hits a B0 solo in teh opening of the Halo theme that's solo.
Ok, your disclaimer at the beginning of the video made me want to watch it even more LMAO 🤣. This was the funnest reaction I've seen from you. Buddy, some people just want to have fun 😉
The loopy Mortius is quite entertaining LOL! As for "this isn't normal, don't leave me", dude, that just made you more personable, it was great!
Geoff had a chorographer for his amazing moves. Kathy his wife is the screaming dead lady on the couch.
Mortius, I got a kick out of your silliness! When you go back and watch it, notice that the "creatures" are Dracula, Wolfman (guess he has fleas, LOL!) and the Monster. The dance starts out as a single movement and each time the chorus is sung, the creatures add a new movement to it. Also at the end, the Monster does the "floss" dance. There is so much going on that I have to watch it repeatedly to get everything that he's doing. Did you notice the beat of the heartbeat throughout the song? This is actually the second take of the video. Apparently, the first take was more like the horror film genre with the makeup. This take was done when he and his wife (yes, that IS his wife) were sleep deprived and Geoff said he was feeling more 'like dead' than alive during this session. DEFINITELY a keeper of this song in my Spooky 👻 Playlist!
The 4 dance moves represent the 4 Universal classic monsters: Arms reaching to the front (Frankenstein's monster), elbows back, hands palm up, fingers curled into claws (Wolfman), arm in front of face as if a cape is hanging from it (Dracula), arms crossed over (the Mummy).
This was a fun reaction. And you didn't disappoint when she screamed! I also didn't see her until that scream -- and did exactly what you did, going back to see if she'd been there all along. It's amazing how much we can look at but still not see until it screams at us.
I thought you were adorable before, but this silly, goofy, delirious, and drugged quo side of you is both adorable and hilarious! I'll rewatch when I'm in a bad mood and need to cheer up.

Yep, that's Kathy. She's usually behind the camera, the production manager for all of VoicePlay and Geoff's video's. She also had a cameo (along with the other wives, and Earl's husband) in Boybands in 5 Minutes, and the families all appeared in Daddy Sang Bass. And no worries about the drugged and sleepy reaction. Lots of pausing, sure, but I never found that to be a problem. It's a reaction video, after all. And everybody's been loopy at some point; it's all fine.

The Choreography of the dancing Geoffs is Frankenstein, Wolfman, Dracula, then The Mummy. I think Kathy is supposed to be Bride of Frankenstein.
I really enjoyed this reaction because the bones "eww'ed" me out too and you laughed more seeming to enjoy the performance more, besides..... it's YOUR channel and your allowed to react however at the time ;-) It was cute and I enjoyed Mrs. Mortius when she was on too!

I love everything about your reactions and I love that you're silly in this one! People really shouldn't be mean about the pausing because THATS WHAT A REACTION IS!! I showed Geoff's Monster Mash to my grandchildren today (they loved it, of course). Tonight, we went to an outdoor Hallowe'en light display event and one of the songs was the original version of the song. Both kids didn't like it - they wanted Geoff back LOL I hope you've gotten a bit of relief from your chronic pain with your medication. I just downed my own muscle and pain meds. Thanks for the delightful reaction video.

This was ABSOOLUUUTELY adorable, fun and entertaining to watch. Never saw any of your other reactions, but I would totally not mind seeing another reaction like this. It is close to child aah and wonderment. Also, since you liked this sooo much, i recommend sixteen tons by geoff, and other voiceplay covers like "oohey boogey" and "my mother once told me".

This is one of those pieces have to watch a few times to catch ALL of the nuances.
At some point(s):
The left Geoff (vampire) flossed his teeth,
The right Geoff (Igor/mummy?) is doing the floss dance
The middle Geoff (wolfman) is scratching at his hair
Clearly one sees that Geoff was a 'pop' dancer in his youth.
Can see him doing the popping while dancing which helps to create the animated look.
The three break their necks with the sounds and singing backgrounds at different angles.
The one supposedly breaks his hip while swaying
The right end being Igor/mummy's hands & neck aren't in alignment at times
Meanwhile, Kathy is lying on the couch reacts (twitches) when Geoff hits the low notes.
Something happened that the original video got messed up.
Geoff had a professional makeup artist make him up in great detail for the wolfman, vampire & Igor/mummy. Because last minute fix, couldn't arrange to get him back.
It was last minute to get it out for the deadline. Kathy (his wife) did the makeup for all of his characters. She also did the scream & danced with him. If didn't know supposed that, it still was a good job.
At first, because I had heard the original numerous times over the years, it was difficult for me to embrace the melody & accompaniment. Then watching the movements it got easier as if it began a totally different song. (FYI: Unsure if you knew Geoff worked at Disney & Universal growing up in the Orlando area doing singing & 'voices').
I love how when Mortius says "I don't like that." Geoff is just smiling like "Yeah you do."
Thanks for the heads up about the loopiness ... It made watching you funnier, rather than leaving me scratching my head wondering what was going on ;) Don't worry, we all can get loopy when we're tired, even WITHOUT the pain pills, LOL

I'm surprised you didn't mention that the choreography includes the repeated movements of Frankenstein, Wolfman, Dracula, and the Mummy, This is repeated a several times and is pretty cool.
I think "somewhat loopy" is the perfect state to be in for experiencing this performance. XD

I have severe chronic pain and I feel for you. Some days are just awful. However you were happy and so much fun. Ignore the haters. You actually didn't pause that much and you really were fun. Oh man! 🤣...you should watch Jinjer - Pisces 30 minutes before bed. Ha! It's a very popular raw (unresearched) reaction, bound to pull a crowd. It's really good music, but the technique introduced mid-song is a lot to take in, and is beyond mind-blowing.
Also, since you enjoy musical complexity, you should definitely check out Nightwish! Most reactors start their journey with Ghost Love Score, live at Wacken 2013, though Romanticide from the same concert may be more fun. Just be ready for the Nightwish Army to invade; they're nice, just numerous!
