I plan to buy this soundbar very soon I'm going to add the sub and surrounds also going to pair with a Panasonic Blu ray player (dp-ub9000) and the 75 inch 2022 TCL 5 series (s555) strictly for movies not gaming or streaming ect. I already have TV's for all that
I have this soundbar and its great! Its however a shame its close to impossible to get a new remote if you need it. They also need to merge the DTS and Play app cause getting it properly up to date is a hassle.
We are bit hopeless on UA-cam om responses, sorry., Drop me a line at info@sound-advice.online and I'll see if we can get a remote for you, can't promise.
@@soundadviceonline - I sell this soundbar in Norway so I'm in direct contact with the provider but sadly they dont seem to have "spare" parts. I got myself the Fidelio FB1 I had on display. It turns out I have swapped the remote with another one from another 2.1 soundbar from Philips while testing it for a customer and I have not been able to get in touch with them. So I'm stuck with a remote that has limited functionality. I think Philips has great soundbars, and TV-Lineup these past few years. But their service and claims system is to put it mildly a disaster.
Your question is a little confusing. But if I understand it correctly the answer is yes. Once you have set up the group of speakers you can us it for TV and streaming sound.
The soundbar comes with a 7.1.2 speakersystem. This will in most cases mean that the 2 at the end are the speakers pointed upwards making it a "Atmos" intended experience. If you have a large livingroom I would suggest getting their new PHILIPS FIDELIO FS1. 2 of them in the back will give a fantastic result for the sound thats "above" you.

Can you re-stream music via digital in or via Chromecast, synchronously with other DTS-Play-Fi speakers in the house?
