Please please ask these guys to sort the issue out with the subwoofer when the fs1 are connected as part of the home cinema with in the phone app, I've got voices coming.out of the sub and is unbearable, if used through the TV app the sound bar loses all formation and just becomes a massive centre speaker and is so tinnie and loud, is there a update coming to sort this out?
I have the same issue with the subwoofer…spent hours trying all I could think of and it still doesn’t work properly. The fact that all this is done through 2 incredibly buggy apps doesn’t help either!
@@claudiuteslevici6500 same here, bought the whole set of speakers, unable to use them in home theater mode due to horrible sound. I'm waiting now for confirmation of upcoming update from Philips Support
I'm a bearer of good news today, quote of the response from philips team: This is currently a known issue that is supposed to be fixed with the upcoming software release for FS1 speakers. The software is currently being validated and should be available for download and installation within the next ~10 days. After performing the software update please get back in touch with us with the outcome so that we know whether to assist you further or to close the case. We will look forward to your reply.
Do you have any news from Philips ? I have the same issue and the support contact put me on hold. I have the whole system and the fb1 + Fw1 are awesome together. It would Be great to add the two fs1. The last firmware update didn't fix the problem.
@Julian Kavanagh @Claudiu Teslevici @Mateusz. Thanks for this information. I was about to commit to buy the set of FB1 bar, FW1 and 2xFS1 but it sounds like this isn't yet a setup that's working for people. Have Philips explained what the issue is? If you were in my shoes, would you still buy in expectation of a fast and effective fix coming soon? Thanks
I've contacted Philips support, after few days of exchanging e-mails and phone call, I guess they agreed it's firmware issue and forwarded everything to proper department for investigation, though i see people returning it as well. I'm still waiting for an update
I'd keep hold of your money, it isn't the first time Philips have released there flagship sound bars with serious issues, the b97 and b95 had a problem with the subwoofer as well, rumbling sounds and that was hardware issues and no update could fix it, I'm wondering if this will play out the same way
@@TheBackhiI cannot believe that Philips seems to let down their valued(?) customers. I have two FS1, too, and philips don't even take serious my arguments, that I wrote them in a service ticket, and they were many...I have paid 600€ for two FS1, and my situation with the sound on my TV OLED 937 with B&W Soundbar ist more worse than before. I hope anyway for a fix, or even a little sign of Philips, that they hear me as customer, and take my detailed problems list serious in any way...other than writing me that all my found problems are a "normal behaviour"
Dont buy Philips audio, have 2 headphones and both don't work as adveetised: T1 doesn't actually do multipoint and the L3 wont even connect to their app. Terrible company.
