Rishi Sunak 'deliberately covered up' prisons crisis, says environment secretary

- Environment secretary Steve Reed has accused Rishi Sunak of "deliberately covering up" the state of prisons.
He says the last Prime Minister was told the situation in prisons was critical but did nothing to solve it.
Mr Reed also maintained that it is right that the new government has discovered a worse situation than what they expected pointing to the Rwanda scheme, which home secretary Yvette Cooper says the last administration spent £700m - more than publicly stated.

It wasn't exactly covered up. The prisons crisis has been reported for well over a year. Labour are already making excuses for failure. Doesn't bode well.
The UK had the biggest empire in recorded history and lots of that remained after ww2.they need to start educating people on how the world has changed over the last 100 years and how the world was completely different before ww1 and ww2 otherwise the UK and western Europe is creating a future not good for anyone. The people in higher places now have to start listening to this and give some transparency to the world and Europe today.
That's as simple as that the UK can change all it wants throw people from all around the world to live here they won't escape the fact 80 years ago now the British had the remains of the biggest empire in recorded history that America and Canada was a part of at one stage now.
Funny how no one questioned how a migrant and refugee from Kenya like rishi whose family is Indian become prime minister of the UK and all them other politicians in Westminster from around the world sitting in our government who all seem to have forgotten what the UK was like 30 years ago and why there elders came to the UK in first place now it's not going away. Things should have been done differently after ww2 here and the way they world is today they could be more truthful about the future moving forward here now because we need it not a progressive multicultrual society turning into this mess today.
I will explain Rishi's family history and ours at the same time the world was completely different before ww1 and ww2. The British empire was British and the people there in a world that was completely different. Like America in the Colonies people travelled between different colonies and areas. We can do this for every person living in the UK today...
Kenya was a British colony so was India and Uganda became a British protocerate we never Colonised Uganda but helped the people there create Uganda to what it is today most areas in the world don't stem from colonies
After the got independence in 1960 from us in 1960 Kenyans and Ugandans didn't want the Indians there nothing bad happened because they came here they need to be more honest about why they are here people where never introduced properly and if they want it to work today they have to deal with thing's better today. western Europe can never pander to the modern world or anything from Moscow today now. We are supposed to be a united Europe today.

Why is this news anchor trying to point a finger at Labour instead of being outraged at the catastrophic mess the country is in after 14 years of the most draconian austerity and public spending cuts, while we are borrowing more money than ever and the tax burden is the highest since WW2? If all our public services are crumbling, local councils going bust yet government income is higher than ever where has the money gone? I think it is time to investigate exactly where this money has gone and the findings passed onto the Police and then CPS!
