Stumbled across onto your channel doing some research on bike packing. My wife and I got fat tire e-bikes last year before all the madness began, feel very lucky. We own a cottage near Combermere and these bikes are perfect to do some 50 km loops without fearing killer hills or even windy days. I retired last summer and like to get out for rides at home in Prince Edward County when the weather cooperates. Anyway, I enjoy your videos and hope you can post that NZ content at some point. We have a daughter living in Christchurch so that trip is on our agenda when travel is a thing again. Take care.
Hard to avoid hills near Combermere. This ride is a nice loop from east of Maynooth, along Graphite Rd, New Carlow Rd, Boulter Rd and then onto 517 into Combermere. Definitely some long hills but a beautiful view and drop into Combermere. I am looking to do some rides in Prince Edward county this summer. I will work on getting the NZ videos out soon!
