- I took my Specialized Diverge gravel bike on my first overnight bikepacking adventure - 120km round trip. This is what I learned, what I want to improve upon, and my path going forward.

For added security while asleep, a cheap $1.00 rape alarm off ebay works a treat..the alarm is in your tent with a fishing line tied to the bike.
Let's see more, great content and style....agree more of the camping set up/experience would be good.
Thanks. Hoping to get out more, now that the restrictions have eased
thanks, great tip with the bar extender. My wife rides a very small bike so bar bags always hit the front tire, we can't mount the bag so it so its higher or use it under the bag to hold it out front off the tread.
nice setup, one day il buy a gravel bike aswell, thanks
Really enjoyed the vid and really appreciate your advice. Be cool to see more footage of your trip and camping set up next time . Keep up the good work dude
Brilliant buddy thanks for sharing all the best 👍 stay safe out there.....colin.
Thanks!
Where and when to you go from.
I have a waterfront trail map book for me, and I have a Garmin 64 s to breadcrumb my route and find anything I need.
Thanks for posting.
This June i riding from Pickering to Kingston and returning on the waterfront trail.
From the Beaches to Musselman Lake near Uxbridge in late May. I plan to do parts of the waterfront trail this summer. Have fun!
Gave a thumbs up and subscribed. Great video,, enjoy the bikepacking. Try a Garmin Bike GPS, those are good to plot maps, ex ridwithgps.com, follow the route, add stops, see where you are etc.
Thanks for the advice and sub! I'll check out the Garmin
Why you don’t use a rack?
I have considered a rack, but using the saddle bag and fork bags limits how much I can take. It forces me to be minimalist, keeping the load the the bare essentials and keeping the weight on the bike down too. I haven't been lacking anything so far and I use absolutely all I carry.
