- I found this garage find legendary 1981 RM125 when rescuing a vintage Vw Beetle a while back. You guys asked me to save this classic dirt bike so I went back and bought it. The 1981 RM125x is an ICON and one of the best Mx bikes ever produced. Will it Run? The revival continues with a refresh and first ride next.
That’s a nice bike! NOS parts are ridiculously high if you can even find them now. Yes!!! Run very nice! Yeah drums not fun lol

I only paid $150 for mine, but it came in boxes. Piston rings were hanging out the exhaust port... Spent more money and finally got it running though. Lot of fun! (not for the neighbors)

Nice to see you back, that bike brings back some memories. I had a 80 rm 125 in the late 90s. It was air cooled with dual rear shocks. That thing rattled my body so bad I could only ride 30 mins tops before my hands would go numb. Can't wait for updates on this. Keep the vids coming

My brother-in-law had this same bike, it was a ripper. He used to race it and did really well. Sadly someone broke into his garage and stole the bike, he never was able to find it.

Dirt bikes are not my thing but I like to see you figure out what is wrong with them and get it running. Really satisfying when it bursts into life, I love your impression of a two stroke engine. Good to see you Jason I was only thinking we hadn't seen you for a while and yes I know people say that but it is true. Spring is almost here so that puts a positive spin on things. 👍👍

Hello Jason, I would like to purchase a 1977 VW Beetle. The car needs no body work. However, the car needs floor pans. I've been told the mechanicals (engine, transmission). It also needs brakes. Should I purchase the car?

Down here in the deep south,if you can even find one;a clapped out,cracked,bent frame,busted or no plastics,bad bottom and top end,wasted cooling system,missing parts RM of that era they always want 1500 or more and if it's a 2 smoke Honda of that era then the price doubles... 😔 Great score for you !!!
I remember as a kid begging my parents for a RM. My friends rode YZs. And of course they wouldn’t let me get one so I got a four stroke enduro instead. Love that bike J. Thanks for the tour!
