On top of the problem with pesticides, we now need to take into account the problem with sterile GMO varieties taking over the ones that maintain the ecosystems.

Beautiful! This book was mentioned in page 295 of Dr. Jordan Peterson's 12 rules for life. By education, Dr. Peterson is a clinical psychologist. Imagine how a book about pesticide can enter in a phenomenal write up concerned predominantly to psychology. This tells you how impactful Silent Spring is up to this day.

I haul many tons of organic commodities annually. And conventional commodities otherwise known as chemical farmer products. Money drives the chemical farming

@@tomjanowski8584 Dude the thing is DDT made tremendous effect on living beings (in a bad way). So it is not safe Rachel Carson said the same too lol that's what I'm saying too. Most of the animals, birds and even humans who all came in contact with it had severe health problems (for generations) and were even dead in some cases...so DDT is definitely not safe for even children how come you believe it is safe to use on food that's gonna be eaten by millions of people?!! It's the truth lol... please do some research! I don't give a shit whether you care or not I'm just saying facts...I know this because I'm a researcher and my family owns farms!! So yaa whatever not gonna argue with you lol!

@@tomjanowski8584It definitely poses health problems but they don't outweigh the health problems and death caused by malaria. developing countries that used it to fight against malaria greatly suffered from this ban, so many needless deaths occurred😞
