There are no answers to the many questions we go through. We pray we cry we ask for messages and some days they come. Insignificant to others, but as their mother we know because our strength comes from within.
I agreed to take my son off of life support. It was not an easy decision. But all of his Drs said he is extremely critical, and I knew he would not live his life in a care facility.
The day his first born son was born, this song came on the radio and I felt it. So I try to have fun doing chair yoga or just my on thing when I hear it.

I just lost my wife of 20 years to cancer two days ago. We loved hard, fought hard, and lived life to its fullest. I always knew what this song was about, and I haven't listened to it in awhile, but when I played it agian tonight, it made me cry and feel better at the same time. I discovered Grace at 18, and when I was walking the streets homeless alone and scared I remember looking up at the moon saying like I always do “hey moon” gazing up at the night sky full of stars in disbelief that this was my life. Started singing this song as I walked down the middle of the road feeling like it was just me and the man in the moon alone on the planet. I felt free, and for a moment not scared. Music like this saves us in moments of hardship. Thanks Grace. ❤

She was born still and we had a full labor and delivery.

And she just flipped over my Big dog Bear. I was lucky I guess, it all worked out.

You all should know that Grace Potter's recordings don't even capture a fraction of the soul and talent she displays live. It's like taking a photo of a sunset but the pic doesn't do the real sight justice.Also, I had the opportunity to perform onstage after her with my band and I was embarrassed to get up there because the room was silent in awe after her performance but this girl is so sweet she stuck around to watch us.She is so down to earth and amazing so therefore, every1 should be her fan

My son died the day of my Moms funeral. His service was The Day of love...Valentine's Day. He used to drag me out to look at the moon n stars like it was his first time seeing them n his last time from down here. The first time he told me he would die before me he was 14 months old. In an interview she said she and her best friend use to lay in the back of a pickup and look at the stars, then her best friend died of an overdose, she wrote this song in dedication to her friend. Now for me, I believe a song, poem, painting speaks to each of us individually. An artist once told me, what the painting meant to him was unimportant, what I see in his painting is what matters. He sold me the painting when I told him what I saw. (that made another person very angry, but he said it was important to him the right person owned his art). This song speaks to me, I hear it for the first time after my husband died. We always loved looking at the night sky. And the night he died it was a beautiful star filled sky that night. I cry but it still makes me feel better, my husband had suffered a long time from his illness so I feel he was set free from all his suffering when his spirit ascended into those starts and the moon onward and upward to heavenly peace.

A few years ago a girl I knew passed away, I didn’t know her too well but she was a friend of mine’s bestfriend. I remember listening to this song and just thinking how unimaginable of pain my friend was in from losing her bestfriend. This past summer my best friend was killed in a car accident...and it really is an unimaginable type of pain. Please remember to just tell people you love them while you’re about to, and take millions of pictures because one day they’ll be priceless.

This song tears my heart out. Lost my big sister 30 yrs ago, my best friend and still.....after all of these year's, feel's like yesterday. Her son, my darling nephew now 30,..we share her love of love of music together and remain ever so close by going to concert's together. Thank you Grace. My sister would have loved you too.
