    This is giving me hope. Im trying to be patient and stop obsessing over losing my hair. Its so thin. Showers are pure anxiety.

      I sympathize heavily with showers being pure anxiety - thats no longer the case for me thankfully... I am at a much better place, and you will be too. Trust the process, give it time. Blessings!

    Thank you so much for the update! I was literally just researching TE again and I love your videos bc you have very similar hair to me to so it’s comforting to see another curly queen’s journey. I am actually just about to start using rosemary oil too. Praying our hair comes back stronger than ever! 🤍🤍

    I read somewhere that Telogen effluvium can take 1-3 years to reverse itself..Of course it depends on each person.. Just gotta wait for that hair cycle to complete its phase 👍🏼

      @GeidilyBeaton  Рік тому +3

      yes... this is true, I was hoping I'd be on the shorter side but seems like my hair took its sweet time. Now, however, I am not losing as much!! You can check out my latest video. I am excited to move on to the growth phase!

    Hi your hair is beautiful so full and so shiny & healthy . I am dealing with TE now 17mths but less shedding thank god.. I'm now only using minoxidil 14wks & it is helping. I agree with you its not nice to use leaves your hair abit tacky but on the positive side it dose make your hair appear fuller..my dermatologist said women have far better results on minoxidil than men ^ eventually I can go to a maintenance level which probably be twice a wk so I good with that ..I'm very lucky my hair was naturally thick & long ..wishing you the best on your upcoming new career much love ❤ from Ireland 🇮🇪

      @kritikohli5466 Рік тому +1

      Hey did you loose all over scalp? Like top also? I'm loosing all over. My hairloss reason was a chemical straightening😞 I'm dealing with it 6 months now. The shedding doesn't stop. 300-400 strands on wash day

    • @cearilindubhlaoi9507
      @cearilindubhlaoi9507 Рік тому +1

      @@kritikohli5466 yes I lost density all over no bald spots just thin all over ...its now looking so much better & healthy..thickness is coming back , I have no idea what actually caused mine as I had 3 major stressors happen at the one time , but I do belive all 3 contributed 100%
      Tip for you don't wash your hair with shampoo just was your scalp only ofcourse your hair will get shampoo through it that's fine but don't give your hair a wash...wash scalp twice my massage...leave conditioner in atleast 3/5 in a shower cap ..and most important use a leave in conditioner after you get out of the shower.
      This has really improved my hair you will find you need to wash less because your Scalp is cleaner and hence lasts longer between washes which is better for your hair while its fragile ...

      @@cearilindubhlaoi9507 as you said you used minoxidil. So, any side effects? And do we have to use it lifetime once we start it? And chronic talogen effluvium, no sign of fphl?

    • @cearilindubhlaoi9507
      @cearilindubhlaoi9507 Рік тому

      @@kritikohli5466 yes I used minoxidil once a day now in the evening time , you can go on a maintenance dose twice a week when you feel happy with your hair , I had no side effects at all just tue initially shedding in the beginning but it did take 3 months to see & feel a difference in my hair as my hair texture had changed also.. I can style it now which I could not do before... minoxidil is a commitment but tbh I will continue with it to me its like I brush my teeth do my skincare massage minoxidil into my scalp at the top of my parting off to bed its now my routine , I will try the liquid nxt time it might be less tacky as I've alot of hair its hard to get into scalp so it leave my hair abit tacky , but you have yo wait 30mins to brush your hair so it's gets time to stimulate your scalp ..

      Thank you so much! I use rosemary almost daily, ive been more laxed on it lately, but still use it often. Vitamins everyday. I wash my hair every 4-5 days. I haven't changed the frequency of washing my hair to less, because I feel that it just dramatizes the hair loss in the shower. Thank you!

    Hey girl are you sure it's not androgenic alopecia now??? I'm currently using minoxidil along with laser therapy and taking a few vitamins, so the specialist told me that it has evolved to androgenic alopecia from telogen effluvium, have you tried minoxidil?

    • @GeidilyBeaton
      @GeidilyBeaton  2 роки тому

    You must’ve went through chronic just as I’m going through it now. what’s some things you do to relieve stress and as a male I found it a lot harder using products on my hair during this process because it would only build rather than absorb and actually makes things worse

      @GeidilyBeaton  Рік тому +1

      Hey! Thank you for your comment! I exercise A LOT lol I go to the gym, journal, talk with my friends/family etc. sometimes I release stress by simply doing a few breathing techniques to help me relax and stretch.
      What products are building up in your hair? Can you describe what you mean by building up?

      @@GeidilyBeaton hey! And at first I would try oils that I would usually use before such as castor oil, wild growth and etc. and that did a big number on my scalp so I had to get proper treatment for that then went towards a lighter oil such as rosemary and mint and that seemed to work better

    Hey i really need your help! Diagnosed as chronic talogen effluvium after a chemical straightening from a salon. Even some another dermatologist say there is sign of fphl! Lost more than half my hair in 5 months. Shedding isn't stopping. Can see baby hair in each parting now! Were you loosing hair from top also? Like widening of part at the top? Help with the regrowth please! Also, a lot of people connect with you please let me know anyone who has experienced this extreme hairloss 🙏🏻

      Waiting for your assistance! I'm thinking of getting prp! I've heard we have to rely on minoxidil once we start! And hair which comes from minoxidil shed! Please help what all treatments helped you. I'm thinking of taking same. And did your hair shed for 7 months and then it stopped?

      I read that some of the ingredients in Nutrifol are also dependent and when you stop taking it you will loose lots of hair again! Just a vicious cycle. I’m trying to stay away from anything like that. Last thing I want is to take something which does help but now I have to continue taking for life or I’m going to be right back where I started. It really makes me mad all these products like this and they don’t tell you upfront. I was on Amazon reading reviews on Nutrifol and people asked if you stop taking it will your hair fall back out and there was SO Many people that said YES! Don’t take it. Don’t even start.
