Kids are so bold!
My parents told me a story about when I was little.. we were at a mall, or a restaurant or some public place. It was Christmas time, and there was someone dressed as Santa handing out little Christmas cards or something like that. Apparently, when he handed me one (I was probably 4yrs old), I handed it back to him and said in a rather serious tone, “we believe in Jesus.”
I have never been bolder in all my life! 😂😂

I’ve shared the challenges I’ve been having with my step-daughter… my husband was a young, single Dad and then I came into their lives when she was 9. We see how important the Father and Mother roles are for children through her. She’s going on 15 and it’s been difficult but she has been a blessing in my life, no doubt. We plan to have our own children in the near future and I am so thankful we have a relationship with God now for them. This world is so selfish and broken and it shows in peoples words and actions. I pray that more families come to know our Heavenly Father. He is so loving and caring to all who seek Him. ❤️❤️❤️

Physical discipline is very hard for me, because I was harshly punished as a child, as was my husband. He was severely beaten and they called it a spanking. I really struggle with knowing what is enough and what is too much. Its really difficult to get it right. In the day and age we live in this topic is a challenge.
You are exactly right. Keep in mind, physical discipline is only one of many forms of discipline that need to be implemented. The key to them ALL is to not do them out of anger. Abuse comes when you discipline your child out of anger. They need to see a parent who disciplines them out of love with a heart that says, "this hurts me as much as it hurts you, but I must do this according to the word of God so that you learn." They must know that you do not discipline because you love the act of discipline. You discipline them because you love THEM. This is a fine line and we must all learn how to walk it. Once you do, you can discipline your children after explaining to them (and making sure they understand) exactly why they are being disciplined, and then turn right around and give them a hug and a kiss. My child actually thanks God during his nightly prayers (I never told him to do this) that his parents discipline him. He knows that "The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother." He loves his parents. HIs parents love him. They all love God. They follow God's commands. You discipline a child out of anger and he/she will lose the true meaning and understanding of the discipline. I hope this brings some clarification. God bless you!

I love your videos so much, and I just wanted to tell y'all about a book by Michael and Debi pearl called To Train Up a Child. My parents have raised us to fear and love God, and all parents who have raised their children with this book, their kids are the most well behaved God fearing family. I highly recommend this book to help raise up your children. And on a side note, Michael and Debi pearl are Christians. They also have a UA-cam channel called The door. Trust me, you need this book!!!🙂
