Great topic. Having an 'eternal perspective' is the most important thing a person can have. That makes every sacrifice worth it. And the best of our civilization was created with the idea that the death of the body isn't the end, and the best we can do is look for a 'greater good'.
Matthew 6:19-21 - "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
I love this! When God allowed me to see through his eyes in a dream. WOW! God truly loves everyone and we should have an open heart that loves like Christ himself, by loving them and showing them Christ through us, they will be drawn in
