Very Interesting History ! 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome coins I want a cap and Ray's at some point 👍
Thanks! Happy to add those to my collection.
Russ said some really interesting stuff.
He knows his stuff!
I was fortunate to acquire a collection with a significantly worn 8 Real Cap and Ray among the silver dollars. Since then I have added a 1968 25 Pesos Olympic commemorative and a couple of MS 1983 1 Onza Libertads. I understand why the coins shown are slabbed, but seeing them hand-held would have been more satisfying. I'm new and very resistant to owning a slabbed coin.
I've gotta make it up to that shop one of these day
For sure!
Fascinating indeed 👍 👌
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate you watching!
Very cool T ! Thanks for the video

Wow! Very nice history lesson here, T. I had no idea our own United States currency was informed by some of the Mexican silver currency. Thanks for sharing, T!
Glad you enjoyed it! I’ll have to do a follow-up with Russ and continue where we left off.
Interesting
One of my best videos ever!
Nice coins. I think everyone needs some Mexican in their stack.
Yes!
I have a 2 reales minted in Lima Peru. It's been challenging to collect reales with different mint marks!
Sweet!
liked/always!
Much appreciated!
Great video, one think about the first coin you showed at the end, it is not from Mexico since it says ME and the Mexican ones have the M with the little o on top with some exception on the final years of the colony around 1820, 1821 and 1822 when there were similar coins with other mint marks. I believe your coin is from South America, either Peru or Bolivia, still a beautiful coin, it is also a 2 real and not a 4 real.
Thank you very much! I’m learning. I appreciate your help.
Nice stuff
Appreciate it!
Waoo you channel is amazing bro
Thank you. Much appreciated!
I wish I can make it, but I have this stupid thing I have to attend, called work. ☹️

I have two 8r one a 1801 and the other 1803 with chop marks. I finally got a number to call to find out if they're not fake. They're silver but not sure on if they are true.
Right on!

Do you know how i could buy silver coins in Mexico City
I believe you can buy Libertads at the bank. The mint is there too.
Hey!! Where's the Dos Mundos.
I’m not familiar with that one.
8 reales , 17th coins
I don't have the money to buy such coins!
Maybe someday, my friend!
