I LOVE your videos! I use them regularly in my US History class here in SC as we prepare for our EOC. You really nail the key concepts, and you make your video lectures interesting! Thanks so much!!!

It is meant for kids. I could provide an analogy to illustrate my idea more concretely but I do not think you need or want one. Happy times.

My lecture is aimed at helping kids understand what the US did and why it did it. Everything I said is true in terms of how we saw as good vs evil, how we reacted to the elites fear of socialism...... If students don't see the context of how we saw the world they can not critique it. So, I know my students learn how to think critically about our past actions and then put it into today's context. I know it works, I see their critique and observations in the videos they produce.

Can I switch my lame history teacher for you? please?!
My teacher makes me read a chapter during the weekend from a book and then gives me a test on it on Monday. I haven't learned anything until I found you and watched all our videos. Thanks a lot! You're my grade saver! ;D

That makes sense, although I think that it reinforces the idea that everyone else is the "evil enemy".
    Nevertheless, informative videos.

Its not a performance indicator or anything. I am also pretty sure it was left out of the Regents Review Live provided by the state.

I really appreciate all of your videos, and have been using them all year to study for my U.S. history class. You really know your stuff and present it in an interesting way. But, I was shocked when I heard you use the word "retarded" in this lecture. It's not ok when kids use it as a synonym for "stupid" but for a teacher to say it is inexcusable. I hope you'll refrain from using it in your future videos.

+if I did it was a fluke. Perhaps five years ago I was less evolved. I'm surprised I never caught it. Thanks for your comment. Spot on. Morgan Truncer

Calling Stalin the devil... I have no problem with that... not a comment on communism but rather on his genocidal acts... Id call Hitler the devil too. And I never said the domino theory was correct.. in fact it wasnt.. ie vietnam fell and the world did not... but rather it was the central belief in the gov which led to the cold war policies. trust me Im no neo conservative trying to dress up our charades in Vietnam.. sorry if it came across bias though.

  • @Magmarizer5

This was incredibly biased. It may be cirrocumuli given by the state, but as a historian you should teach truth not propaganda. Calling Stalin the devil, giving credence to the domino theory.
I have enjoyed your other lectures but this one was unbearable.
