    Bob’s relationship with his father could put another spin on why he likes Zentipede so much. The rocksperience telling a story about General Inzanity snuffing out creativity and eventually being overcome by a rebel inspiring an uprising and overthrow probably spoke to Bob, since Big Bob never let his son change the menu and was overly critical of a lot of his choices in general.
    As a matter of fact, him not wanting his creativity stifled as a result of this and not wanting to answer to a higher-up could probably partially explain why he didn’t go for Warren’s tiki theme either.
    Probably overthinking it but it kinda makes sense. Then again Zentipede as a band just slaps in general, so there’s that.

    • @ChristopherSobieniak
      @ChristopherSobieniak 3 роки тому +10

      Still, that's not a bad thought. Bob obviously liked to be in control of his environment and seemed to want to do things his way. Having a dad tell him "no" certainly brought out that rebellious side of him and wanting to be independent.

    • @bdp8102
      @bdp8102 3 роки тому +5

      I'm not sure I liked the Big Bob episode. He was horrible to his son and I don't think Bob should have been the one to apologize.
      Maybe if they showed us some positive side of their relationship it would have made more sense.

    • @KairuHakubi
      @KairuHakubi 3 роки тому +6

      90% of the time, if there's a story about a father and son, you can bet the theme goes back to the dad's dad.. or rarely, the son's son. dad themes run deep. I'm so glad Jim Dauterive got another big show after King of the Hill because you can really feel softer versions of Hank-Bobby plots with Bob and Gene.

    • @JavertRA
      @JavertRA Рік тому +2

      @@bdp8102 They've moved into that more lately. I think the main reason Bob apologised is because he showed his Dad up in front of his customers (twice). Big Bob at least acknowledges that he was rather lacking as a father. Bob on the other hand, is an occasionally bumbling but always well-meaning father (which Big Bob acknowledges) and he knows that it's much easier to make that small apology.

      It's actually a parody of Rush's 2112, if you're interested. It's meant to be a dystopian sifi epic about the freedom of artistic expression. Attention Humans of America is almost identical to the ending of 2112. The references were on point in this episode. One of my favorite episodes.

      @@fauziAme king gizzard and the lizard wizard's album "murder of the universe". It tells three different stories: one of a man who finds a beast who he merges with to gain its power, the second of a showdown between a lightning casting evil wizard and a balrog, and the third is about a cyborg who wants to feel like a human by experiencing death and vomiting. The stories all connect and they're referenced in other bits of the king gizz's discography. The music itself sounds almost exactly like this, but just a little heavier.

    Attention Humans of America:
    (spoken:) Attention, humans of America
    I am General Inzanity, and I have seized control, control, Control!
    General Inzanity Intro:
    Give my robots your guitars
    The time has come to forget about who you are
    Dig up those rocks and build my fortress
    Let My People Rock (Part 1):
    We don't need no bots
    Let my people rock
    We are not machines
    We like to wear tight jeans
    You have no control
    Let my people rock
    Roll a Rock to Rock and Roll:
    Roll a rock to rock and roll-a
    Roll a rock to rock your soul
    A rock to rock and roll-a
    Robots don't get rock and roll-a
    Roll a rock to rock and soul your rock to rock and roll-a
    Yeah

    Ich finde es beeindruckend, wie gut man eine Pink Floyd, let's Zeppelin oder andere rockband dieser Jahrzehnte einfangen konnte und ein eigenes Ding in der Serie gemacht hat. Das Album ist legit, gut und nett mich sehr stark an pinks Floyd the wall mit dem Intro der hi pitched voice und allgemein, dass das Album eine Geschichte erzählt
