Man, you are friggin awesome at painting. Everything just goes together so well. When i use different colors they get schluped together and it just comes out as a mess.
It is an amazing job. Thank you very much for the great tutorials. I am interested in seeing in detail how the shoe looks like the one in this figure or if you can tell me in which of your videos I can see it. Thank you.
12:00 I was trying to watch you paint the battle axe, honest. But, gee whiz, Mister, I just couldn't tear my gaze from the mini's face. A rousing success! I have had an idea of my own that I haven't been able to experiment with yet: Have you ever dabbled in gauche for micro textures? I am still a fan of using chalks and talc for weathering (there's no school like the old school), Pepperidge Farm remembers. Thanks for the brain entertainment!
Never tried gauche. I prefer not to use weathering powders on minis because of the issue of them and the final varnish. Though I do have something in mind for a future project.
I'm thinking it's your color balance on the video but you call his skin grey-brown but it only looks grey-green to me, absolutely no red in it. I'm pretty sure it's not my end as my monitor is color calibrated for my photography work.
Sometimes you can get away with making certain video game characters at Herforge, with a bit of work with the options I was able to make Link from Legend of Zelda.
Question: I've bought the brush you use here twice, and the tip seems to be slightly bent in both cases. Is this a feature of the brush or just a stroke (no pun intended) of bad luck? If it's the former, is there any special technique, and if it's the latter, do you happen to have any idea how to straighten it? Thanks for all the awesome content!
I don't buy brushes online for mainly that reason. Last time I tried they just tossed them into a shipping bag, and that was from a real art store. They should know better. Ignored my requests for a refund, too!
@@ThePaintingClinic unfortunatley I can't really get the brushes I need within reasonable driving distance, so online it usually is. These onse did come with the protective cover too, which is why I thought the bend might just be a feature of the brush! Thanks again for the tip!

loved the critical role reference at the start of the video ;) and thank you for the great videos and for introducing me to layering properly !
I have always enjoyed how quickly you slap on paint and how good it looks at the end of the video ^_^.
Greetings from the old yahoo mini painter group! Great to see you still painting. Thanks for the inspiration to get back into painting.
thats a very nice model.
Cool !!! Nice Job !!!
A half-giant? You mean a rather tall man! LOL nice work as always!

thanks for the tip on tattoos. The one time I tried it, it didn't look right.
I wonder, are the miniatures not primed ? (or you simply don't record the priming phase on video). Awesome work btw !
How do half-giants happen? 👀
Do the Hero Forge minis not require primer?
I think the basic prints come primered. This is a high grade plastic print and needs primer. Always primer everything.

you made and painted a kratos miniature sweet

@@maxbrandt6 I bet that looked sweet i tried making Ryu from the breath of fire games but they didn't have enough options.
You wanted to paint Kraitos didn't you? I like it.
Ghost of Sparta. Thank you

It was bent when you bought it? It shouldn't be. Might be able to mix it with some thick brush cleaner and trying to form it to a point and let dry.
Doctor Faust's Painting Clinic yes, bent upon arrival (ordered online). I’ll try that suggestion. Thanks!
