Thank you for this. I just bought the Dahon Hit and was really struggling with folding it, i just had to carry it up a narrow winding staircase while semi folded lol. It's the red dot and the cables i need to be mindful of. Many times i was kinda folding it and then i couldn't unfold

That's a lot of steps! Are you looking at a Dahon now? Have you created a monster in yourself - collecting folding bikes!

Ha! Ha! No, I am happy with my Brompton. We did a Dahon vs. Brompton compare-contrast video months ago, and I had this footage from that shoot. Seeing all those steps, if I had a Dahon I certainly would want a cheat sheet. Although if anyone was willing to give us a free Dahon, we certainly would not turn it down.😊 We do love bikes.

There seems to be more steps on the Dahon bike than a folding a Brompton bike. It probably would become second nature after a while. I still get a little stupid sometimes folding my Brompton bike and I have had that bike for over a year and half. 🤷‍♀️

I never bother with half of this, I just fold the middle and then fold the handle bars over on the outside. Sandwiching the handle bars in the inside is too much hard work to do every time.

Who needs a complicated folding method when you can just wing it, right? I would rather not read a manual. Thanks for your input.
