- Beans (black, white, chickpeas, pinto)
- Leafy greens (Spring Mix, Spinach, Kale, Lettuce
- Sugar-free Olive & Oil Salad Dressing
- Whole Grains (Quinoa, Brown Rice, Barely)
- Ezekiel Bread (Multiple options. Sold in Walmart, Target, Publix)
- Nut Butter (sugar-free peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter)
- Oats
- Rice Cakes (unflavored & salt-free)
- Plant/Soy Milk (unflavored & salt-free)
- Sugar-free Plant-based Protein Powder (recommendation: Bob's Red Mill Almond Protein Powder)

Ezekiel bread contains yeast so that isn't okay for the fast
"In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks.
I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth,

NO PLEASANT FOOD 21 DAYS...
no salt, bread, grains, fruits, meat or alcohol!
Only some taste less vegetable!

I've heard mixed things about bread. I'm a hardcore carb girl, and I love me some bread. Lol But I heard you can't do Ezekiel bread because it's leavened. Like anything with yeast is a no-go. Is that wrong?
No you’re not wrong. Honestly Ezekiel bread is controversial. When I first started fasting, I would make Irish bread. But then I stumbled on an article that said we’re technically allowed Ezekiel bread so I started using it on my fasts this year. I think this will be more of a conviction thing with God. If you feel convicted about it then don’t use it, try making Irish bread. If you don’t feel convicted, then do your research, try it and see. 🤍
