It’s actually at a great spot. It’ll be coming off of Central Parkway virtually right across the road from Eastport and the other surrounding Villages neighborhood. Once they start development in that area that’s a great spot to be out as well.
Having a house next to the high school sports stadium noises, is almost like a home close to the turnpike, where the traffic noise could ruin retirement. Both locations are undesirable, and explain the lower demand and resale values.
I wouldn't want to live by any ponds, because of the gators or snakes ,etc. You see how they've screens on the patio ? I rather have Automated Pocket Doors Hide Away in the Wall (hurricane proof ). Hire landscapers to put in Palm Trees and other bushes ,etc. As far as the color of home , I don't know which color I like. I love "beachy colors" I have these colors now on my basement walls ( very light blue and the light green ) . I noticed you are standing infront of a green home .16:02
I have not read anywhere on TV site much about the windows or Doors. So I doubt that they are “hurricane proof”, since that type are not required by Florida law so far inland.? If they were hurricane rated, you know TV would advertise that heavily. If anyone see’s any evidence of hurricane rated windows, I would love to read about it.
I thought all the designer & veranda homes were on streets with concrete curbs on both sides of each street ? And that only the villa homes were on streets with no curbs (where all the rain drained to the center of the street)? Or has the developer cut more costs in the new areas
First thing I look for. Verandas have cheap asphalt “center of the street” open drains. Designer homes have proper concrete drains built into the curb. If I payed $475,000 for essentially a designer home and didn’t notice until water was backing up from the street because a palm frond covered the drain, I would not be happy.
@@debbiec6216 Planning on coming to The Villages sometime this year. First time I thought of MLB. I see the Cardinals 'grapefruit league' home is in Jupiter (4 hour drive?). Looks like the Braves and Astros play in Orlando and 4 more teams in Tampa area (Detroit Tigers, Blue Jays, Phillies and Yankees).
I live in New York were we pay a separate school tax close to 6k a year a giant school system with huge bills that at some point the residents are going to have to contribute to maintain this school.I understand that building a school that will attract better employees sounds good the idea of building a entire school system in a retirement community is something that seniors want to get away from.
Some people are going to say something negative no matter what. I’m in construction… we build things fast. Especially when we are repeating what we just did. Pros know their jobs well
I read that streets on the villages are named after the villages realtors and employees. I agree that many of the street names are not desirable, especially the longer multi word names. Maybe the villages should start a suggestion box or contest to names streets?
Thanks Frank, as always looking forward to your next video. How do you think the village of Waters edge location is? Any feedback?

Thanks Frank, looking forward to you touring the street of dreams over there.
Hey Frank I noticed you are always out on Sunday morning makes sense no contractors
All a matter of perspective, some people enjoy the clamor a high school can bring

In our neighborhood, many of the designer homes are curved curbs

Those names of the streets are a turn off.
