"if youre a broke boi just say so" 😂😂😂
"sorry my queen but I spent all my money on WoW gold this month 😢"
The best payer u mean
He already did it, then he was contacted by a blizzard rep, who told him to stop deathrolling tournaments
that was in EU tho, he can still do that in NA server
no way this is real lmao
Yeah back in legion iirc
@@viejitaloca2810haha yeah asmon was asked to stop due to it being straight gambling. Eu no like
this seems like they only did it cause the nerds on reddit r/classicwow were crying about it. they act liek theyre not doing this as well. probably just jealous streamers get free gold and spending money for gold is for content and not actual worth it. seems really wierd that NOW those same cringe lords dont like buying gold anymore.
Also its funny how most comments there also say GDKP are worth it and not even hiding that they pay for these things with real money.
can't wait to spend 10 grand on a lvl 25 staff
Gotta love being able to just throw money at everything
Just not if it's at the expense of being numb to everything else.
Deathrolling as it is, it's so weird.
My raid group always did an inverted version where you could have multiple people rolling and whoever hit 1 was the winner and each person paid out to them. So if you did a 10k roll for example, each person could jump in until the loop was closed by the one who started it. If 5 people were in, whoever hit 1 would get paid out 10k from each other person and make 40k!
my guild does it where multiple people roll, lowest roller pays the difference in roll to the highest roller
The Dubai oil prince thing is true. Had one hire my guild back in Cataclysm for rank 1 realm so he could get the mount/legendary daggers first. Paid cash up front during the Firelands tier.
SK Gaming and later Ensidia in TBC and WotLK were funded by a Dubai oil prince too. Paid the guild leaders a salary, paid for their apartments and invited them on his yacht and gifted each one of them a Rolex with their name engraved on it. Only thing he asked for was to get carried through each raid after they cleared it for the first and time, and get dibs on the gear that dropped for his character.
Yep had one in our guild after vanilla, we were a top 5 guild in europe at naxx, he bought our guild masters character and also a spot in the guild, for TBC was fucking weird for the rest of the guild and so suprise surprise guild didnt last long after that.
"I love season of discovery, I just discovered my mothers discover card."
Didnt asmon already do the holding money for a big deathroll thing on retail back in the day?
I think it was the equivalent of a longboy for the winner
He did yeah, I vaguely remember same shit
@@lapislazuli6136 well, the hairline is not the only thing that worsens with age.
Yeah it's called being the middleman.
The pokimane "if you're a broke boy" reference is fucking golden 😂
Unrealistic. He didn't even report him for saying his own words back to him.
4:39 I played lineage 2 with a couple of guys from the Middle East who spent thousands of dollars a month in game. It was crazy
My middle school friend's mom paid like $800 for a house in Ultima Online like 20 years ago which I thought was mad.
I know this is funny but still i get a bit sad too when watching this
I mean there are a lot of players who spend money. Not all have time to invest in the game. And there is nothing wrong with that. You either invest time or money. So I choose money rather then time I can spend for example with friends 🙂
@@oanciakas123"time to invest in the game" - Developers specifically create that problem by making the games waste people's time. That's how they get people to spend money and games are grindier and grindier (coz it works).
Look at games, where you can only buy the game and can't buy anything extra. Those games tend to have a good satisfying progression system. Then look at games, where you can buy "time savers" - Without them the game is grindy, because the game was designed with the "time savers" in mind.
@@oanciakas123bad philosophy for any game
@@oanciakas123 This is a game, you should play it or skip if you don't have the time; if put money into it you are not playing it, you are just moving around a very expensive digital doll.
If friends are that important to you, take that money and invest that in them instead!
@@oanciakas123by that logic every mmo would just die. The appeal to mmos is getting gear you can wear and show off to the other players. Getting a drop that actually means something is what makes wow so fun. When you can just buy the best gear with cash it makes it feel pointless. You spend hours getting gear and some lazy guy who doesn’t wanna play the game just spends all his parents money for gear in a game.
Humbert’s helm on my 29 twink hunter way back in the day, mannnn I miss twinking
Classic meaning = the core gameplay and characters are to remain as the same as Vanilla
Plus meaning = new Dungeons and Items.
Retail meaning = Altering core gameplay for example abilities or level cap.
Therefore season of discovery = Retail+ Beta
Enjoy
Asmon > omg a 25 epic?
Me > omg, chance on hit to instakill?
I'm a bit curious what the proc rate is, and can it insta kill a boss?
@@mikeriggs3891 its fake lol
@@mikeriggs3891 its not real, there are no weapons with instakill procs or everyone would have one
I remember back in the day how we used to use /roll to decide if we would keep wiping or go to bed.
How innocent we were!
The if ur a broke boy meme already coming out lol. That’s awesome
Is this the same guy that played a hunter like 20 years ago and got a bow randomly and had to travel to darnassus and then forgot to buy arrows 😂
Something about oil princes. There is THE oil prince who's the next in line to run his fathers country and then there are thousands of "oil princes" who are basically members of extended royal family, which are thousands of them, who just receive a monthly allowance, most of them get something between $15.000-$50.000 per month, which is by no means little, but not close to what most people think when they hear the term oil prince.
Only 15k a month....those poor little princes...
@@rossikc "which is by no means little"
We have done 10k-50k death rolls regularly in our era and som gdkps, we had one of our raiders lose over 50k in phase 3 of som during an mc gdkp only to jump into the lava to kill himself, and never logged on again lol he unfortunately did not pay
Having 50k gold sounds like some degenerate stuff
Degen guild, buy more gold gaming bozo
Then he didnt lose 50k....he lost the game but not the gold.
Why does no one do GCG instead of deathrolling? Everyone rolls, lowest pays highest the difference. That way the whole group can participate at once in gamba with only a single roll each.
I feel like everyone who buys gold and does deathrolls and isn't an oil prince needs to re-watch the ending to Back to the Future 2 where Marty doesn't take the bait and become disabled because someone called him chicken.
pretty sure that happen in part 3, but i got you
At this point you know he's going to release the same p2w meme video whenever anything new classic related gets announced
at this point im tired of it, seems like lazy content.
@@roostre5254 same, but people seem to like it, so who cares

Yeah I think Miz did a 40 man death roll tournament from 1-1000. For a pot of 8000 gold. Won’t spoil who won if you want to go watch it

cant jennifer understand it was a wise investment
4:30 lol they don't have to be oilers.
a friend who works at a factory paid over 3k USD for betrayer and never logged on again because his ban from retail RWT ended the next day.
We also had an oil prince in our GDKP in AQ40 in classic. He would just drop 5k on any item :D

need to do hardcore deathrolls where the loser dies and the winner gets all their stuff.
An arab bought my Vanilla naxx warlock for 800 euros, which at the time was kind of unheard of. He then asked do any of my guild have characters to sell.
The guy bought like 8 characters, all full naxx BIS.
This was back in 2006.... so kind of unheard of at the time.
I got my account back like 10+ years later by accident and the guy had bought a swift spectral tiger.
Pretty sure he was an oil prince.
Not really as unheard of as you think. There was a reasonably large pool of characters legitimately obtained, or otherwise being sold.
@@nistic5723 Well, i was. They accidently gave it back because i was trying to link 2 other accounts together and gave ID and my old 2 accounts that i sold (one in naxx and one in TBC) had same name.
the oil prince thing is so old lol back in 2011 my friend looted a 0.1% card and got a dm from a guy in our guild buying it for 2k$ worth of ingame stuff, same thing in dota 2 we have a oil prince that drops 32k$ in BP bu =t we dont make of him he simply enjoy the game and love the cosmetic ingame ran into him in MM nice guy owns his mistakes after the game
Paying 30000€ to be bis for a few weeks is a choice.
so is continuing to play a game that knows it can manipulate you
Hey, you gotta think. If you have $10,000,000 in your bank account 30k is the same as $30 for someone with $10,000 in their bank account

Since the level cap is starting at 25 the overwhelming majority of players are gonna be grinding the BIS and demolishing PVP in the first few days.
i exactly know who he is talking about he was this kid from saudi arabia that used to donate asmon back in the day, asmon invited him to the voice calls a couple of times. the kid even started a wow account back in warlords of draenor on the kel'thusad server just to join asmon transmong runs. god damn that was a long time ago.
2:41 does this "Chance on hit: Instantly Kills the target" work on all monsters? On bosses?
Can I do to Ulduar or such and get lucky to insta-kill some raid boss? 🤣🤣🤣
not the ol. "ill hold the money for you trick"!!...lol
4:03 just wait until he finds out that a saudi arabian prince literally has a massive weeb steam profile using an anime girl as his pfp
I thought season of disc is only nov 30th???
"I gotta run GDKP and sell the gold and get the money back".
The internet has created so much depravity.
There are some much things people could do with those money, but this guy chose to reach theoretical limit of ONE class
At this point hes just convincing more people to buy gold, over the sarcasm
Azamous videos are eternal! great job
Asmond sounds like RuneScape gold holder for Dm duels lol
That weapon isn’t even available in sod so yea
U alredy done that idea back in mist i think
True. Friend of mine was telling he and his Wow buddies had deals with rich folks from Dubai to for example raid together 😂
I love death rolling. Some nights I went till I had no gold and would have to farm gold for hours
4 strength 4 stam forest leather belt?!
UUUUUuuuuuGGGgghhh!!! AAAAAaaaaAhhhhh!!!
Broke Boy Hype! Broke Boy Hype!
This is genuinely what classic ERA servers are like right now so yeah, wouldn't surprise me.
In Naxx GDKPS items off Saph/KT are going for 400,000 gold. As in, people are purchasing almost $1,000 worth of gold and then using it to buy a SINGLE item.
That’s how it’s on illidan . I use to sell runs in MOP and we would get 20 bucks a raid for ten man . We did it once a week. Not mentioning selling challenge runs. I’ve seen chinese servers where people openly talk about selling runs. Rules are different for there servers .
LF an oil prince.
I must be missing something, what's the point of going Lone Wolf on a melee hunter? Seems like a much worse Rogue at that point...
The aquatic blade was totally made up, right?
A mmo called blade and soul had insane concentration arab oil princes. Its insane how much money they dumped into the game
i swear those oil dudes dont like eachother, only one per guild.
there's a 0% chance that the aquatic blade is a real lvl 25 drop...
The stats look almost as good as thunderfury from what it looked like.😂
And it proc to insta kill lol
Didnt sodapoppin had some rich oil guy from Dubai donating him crazy amounts of money back in the day ? And not once but many times.
SoD Hype! SoD Hype! 😄
Jokes aside, the moment GDKP's get a regular thing in SOD, is the moment i'll drop SOD for good.
then you better dont start cause it will happen
What is GDKP? Thanks and sorry
Give it a few days to a week
@@user-xc2hz9wu9w Gold Dragon Kill Points. Originally DKP was a guild system where you would accumulate points for participating in guild raids and then spend them to get loot as a way to ensure some new guy who might not show up next week doesn't get the good items over a guild veteran or whatever. Then someone realized they could use gold instead of points on a spreadsheet, bring randoms, and make tons of money essentially selling loot since there are people with deep pockets buying gold with real money. It basically changed the game from "lets get some people together and do this raid for fun and maybe a chance at loot" into a highest bidder system where average joes can't hope to compete with gold buyers and get left behind.
If you're a broke boy just say so!
Didn’t this guy make the exact same video/joke for hardcore classic? Dude needs new material.
WoW we used to have a dubai dude who was running a whole crew of farmers that used to give us game time for dirt cheap like 2-3k gold never paid for wow.....
Is SoD out? Or some ppl have early access?
Thought u can’t get aquatic blade in Sod
is this guy released same joke video 1000 times already
I know someone who spent $30,000 on archeage... and still sucked at pvp lol
So im confused is SOD out or is this like a beta test for it?
It’s a joke vid. Release date is the 30th nov
There are some true Asmon boys here today. Video only has 110k views but with 217k likes
but you know, since you have to actually go out and get the runes yourself, he didn't
As someone coming back to the game. This is just so odd. In my opinion the Discovery is that blizz found new ways to timegate content and on Vanilla content. Insane if it wasn't seasonal I would be interested but It just seems like a poor investment of my time. I could be leveling in Classic Wotlk or Hardcore or ... reeta... *vomits uncontrollably*
Every mmo has these people. That is why many older mmorpg 's are still going today. Whales are what keep these games alive.
You can buy a Louis Vutton T-shirt for $2000. That feels more insane TBH, than paying a few grand for pixels.

Chance on hit = INSTA KILL? WTF is that sword
I use to have so much gold coming from runescape to wow money was so easy in TBC I use to trade so gold for anything that had a code like wow time or xbox live time.
I find it so funny how people are looking for BiS items at level 25, the whole gear will be replaced easily when the next phase comes out, these players really don't have a brain at all lmao
Funny how you can’t death roll in wow but you can still buy cs cases

The best part is when asmon says he never took real money bribes, but he would have.
he also brags about never spending money but we all watched him play lost ark :D
this guy knows that SoD will be the same
Full bis just ran with a very casual guild, lol
I didnt even realize it had come out yet. Thought it was the 30th.
