I just upgraded from a 2005 Eddie Bauer to a 2017 Limited. I love some of the retro features as they make me more comfortable in the newer vehicle. I have no complaints with how the thing drives. To me it’s normal as I have been driving an Expedition for 13 1/2 years. The only complaint I really have is about the navigation system that failed me on its first run. Luckily, I knew where I was going.
There's clearly a car bubble going on right now. Some of the Ford F-450 at the Platinum trims go for 90,000! That kind of money for a Ford is just insane.
It may be older but it functions better than the GM products. Most GM trucks only get the 5.3 V8 unless you step up into the very expensive Denali or Escalade models. Also, the 3rd row seats in the GM trucks (even the long Suburban) are less comfortable than the 3rd row in the Ford. My guess is that the new Expedition will easily leap-frog past the GM trucks. Great review - thanks.
Yeah, it'd almost look like a government SUV carrying secret service agents. And yes, the Expedition has good value...compared to the Escalade, but, then again, everything's relative.
I know it's pretty insignificant, but a 25 foot wake boat (Malibu Wakesetter LSV, one of the largest ones you can buy) weighs about 4,500 lbs. So the about 9,000 lbs capacity on this is a large amount.
FORDS ALUMINUM BODY SECRET: Our 2015 Ford Expedition with 20,000 miles in California has Aluminum Corrosion on the front hood and rear hatch door. Ford has known about this "Iron Contamination" problem since the year 2000 and has done nothing about it, documented in three Technical Service Bulletins 2004 TSB 04-25-1, 2006 TSB 06-25-15 and 2016 TSB 16-0028. Dealerships are aware, but do not disclose the factory defect prior to sale and is "Not" covered under the Corrosion Warranty.
CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars I think I did:) guilty in charge. I prefer RR and G-class over any SUV. I am enjoying every single bit of them, lol
Dimitri Galdava I find that the RR and the G-Class are nice but Animal skin doesnt make up for the luxury that the large-ess of big Suvs have. And if you can afford it, you can buy it and take it to an upholestry shop . Can you imagine a Rolls Royce where your not so cramped in the back seat with the window right there behind your neck? JIZZ!!
Andrew Walker I got your point and I understand. allow me to explain and tell you my point of view. I came to this country to seek better opportunities and to reach where I am, I had to dug through deep shit. but now I can afford all this I dont want to give up. and If I decide to give up I have to give up on everything. expensive clothing that are probably made by child labor, expensive cars, stop eating meat, fish and ect. and stop being part of this selfish capitalistic structure. lol sorry I prefer this way and sorry for rest. :)
It is actually nice to have more cargo space without folding down the third row, i have a 2011 king ranch EL... it's an amazing SUV
Oh yeah, the King Ranch Edition. Great SUV. It's one of those vehicles that simply does everything well.

Thank you! Honestly, that twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 impressed me an awful lot. Point being, it questions even the need for a V8 at times.
CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars no replacement for displacement. True
Looks pretty cool ☺
Nice truck...I love the 22's and the seats. Would look great in black.

Lol...funny but James Van De Beek's character on CSI Cyber drove one last year and he was an FBI agent.
Keep in mind the Platinum Slade starts at $90,000 and even a decently equipped mid model starts at $78k so this has good value from that stand point.
Wut

Yeah, I know! 9,000 lbs. is a massive amount.
Will 2018 have the same diesel options and transmissions as F-150?
Ford won't do that at all
What is the main difference between the platinum version and limited version
NEW EXPEDITION COMIN OUT IN TWO DAYS!!!!! YESSSSS
CarsRLife it came out, a lil better must admit

Aquarium Doctor I didn’t think the 2015’s were aluminum? Only the 2018’s and up
@@finncampeau4922 , agreed. I thoguht 2018 was when they switched as well.
The design hasn't changed a bit.
Well, except for the refresh a year or so ago.
The SIZE!!
I also have to touch every button lol
I love American cars, especially these huge SUVs, but I would rather get a Mercedes GLS than a loaded Tahoe or expedition.
I see your point about the GLS, but there's still something cool about an all-American big SUV the Mercedes just doesn't have.
Maximiliano Luera You can get it, but People in Bigger SUVs will still look down on you, even in a Mercedes small suv
It's more of an Escalade fighter than the ugly Navigator imo. It's the same luxury for 10k less.
Funny how they don't equip it with any entertainment. Have to pay an extra $1,800
Rodney Falls yup just like any car
so American lmao. I like it.
Hey, what's wrong with America?? USA! USA! USA!
Cause if u wreck it the hole dam things totally done
I mean this with as much respect as possible. You do not need to be giving reviews, simply because your pants might get dirty. Really!!!!!
They new allium body sucks I'd never get one
I like ford but too much expensive... I can buy toyota land cruiser in this price
The Prince Hey its cheaper than FCA cars
I never liked the look of the expedition.
I don't think it's that bad. It's just old.
Do you prefer the GM models ? I do
it not a suv it a trunk
ultracogamimg s what? Trunk?
@@finncampeau4922 truck
not that I didn't like the overall quality of the video or review. just the car sucks.
I think you just insulted the Expedition :-)
