Currently locked in a fierce battle to the death with the captions! Captions and cards will be added shortly (if I survive). Please enjoy another delusional (HAH!) theory while I fight for my life! Edit: Captions and cards have been added! Reason is the one thing that came out of the Ordo quests that I'm most obsessed with and I'm convinced it will play a major role in the story going forward. But what are *your* thoughts? And what did you most enjoy from those world quests?
@@sylvarogre5469 i wonder if it's like all the other elements where we have the element and we have the ideal of the element. like anemo=freedom, electro=eternity, hydro=justice, and so on. in that case, it could just be that light=reason.
@@sylvarogre5469 Yes and what captaindanger and you as well seem to be suggesting is a very real possibility! Especially because, in greek mythology, Phanes was a god of light. But he went by many names, including Metis, meaning thought. You reason through your thoughts. So there seems to be a possible link between light and reason. And if the abyss is delusion, since it's the polar opposite of the light realm, it stand to reason (heh!) that the light realm may be connected to reason!
I think that Reason = Light. After all, is there any real reason for them to be exclusive? As a side note, I wonder if this ties into Honkai's "elements" (like Quantum/Imaginary) in any way...
maybe being summoned by Khaenriah is what makes them the "wrong twin"? 🤔 Aether and Lumine have equal chance of becoming the Abyss twin vs the Descender
@@ralfian0234When it’s confirmed that Aether is the main twin as you see in most the videos on the account of Genshin Impact you can choose but Lumine was meant to be the abyss princess.
In Kabbalah this element is called Keter aka The Crown, the element of God, the element that is beyond the human mind capability. It's the element that affects all the other elements of the Tree Of Life, and then when they all connect, the result is Malkut aka Physical World aka Reality.
Awakening the Power of Reason might very well be Asmoday’s (The Sustainer) Plan: Teyvat would perish without the occasional arrival of Descenders, so her mission is to ensure the Continuity of Teyvat through intercepting other Descenders (like herself) and having them experience Teyvat long enough to care for its inhabitants to change the direction of their Fate, thus Sustaining Teyvat’s existence.
I'm totally on board with this! I wouldn't be surprised if the "heavens' summoning" had somehow been the Sustainer luring the twins into Teyvat so she'd have a new descender at her disposal, maybe give them a similar fate to that of the 3rd descender's - whether they willingly sacrificed themselves or not. You can also see this golden energy being created by her at several points in the opening cutscene, so she really might be a descender herself!
@@BluesLoreCrumbs I don’t think becoming a Gnosis is required, Asmoday (The Sustainer) isn’t one, and yet Teyvat still continues to exist, what happened to the Third Descender is likely due to exceptional circumstances, it is unlikely that the Fourth Descender will be turned into a Gnosis.
In HI3 we have the Authority of Reason. This power allows for matter manipulation on an atomic level to be able to create and understand objects. The Authority of Reason is explained to be nothing without humanity, since without the creative minds of people making things the power would have nothing to understand and recreate. Being able to understand different realities and dimensions that are beyond normal compression is also something those with this power are able to achieve. Considering one of the main characters in HI3 (Bronya) and one of the main characters in HSR (Welt) were Herrschers of Reason eho held this power, the idea that Hoyo would bring in another version of it for the main character of Genshin has a good chance of happening.
@@DrakeWurrum the colouring of the Authority of Reason changes based on the person using it. For Welt it is red, for Bronya it is blue, for Void Archives it is yellow. The reason behind why it is different is unclear.
@@JKCrafted - Hrmm... I don't know if it'll be the same way in Genshin, though. Hoyo tends to put a lot more importance into being consistent with colors. But thank you for the correction. I still don't feel like "Reason" it quite right for the Traveler powers. Because the source of their power seems to be when others place their wishes and faith upon them? And then they gain the power to enact change on reality.
The golden power is the power of the faith, will, belief, desire and wish, or as your choice of words, "reason"... everything in the game which has golden aura or power is related to this kind of thing: - 5 stars characters and weapons - obtained by wishing - 5 stars artifacts - the characters are literally praying in the artifacts session - Irminsul branches - shine golden light when we pray for them in the domains - Those artifact Nahida used in the battle agains Shouki no Kami - literally the will of Rukkhdevatta - Khaenri'ah source of energy - literally their will to surpass the gods - Enkanomiya's light - the result of people's wish to survive and be free from the Vishaps - The god being like the Archons, the Sustainer, probably Phanes, Celestia, etc have the golden aura - their power come from the people's belief in them - Indemnitium - was Fontaine's main source of power, and used to came from people's belief in justice Traveler used golden power when fighting in the Jade Chamber, fighting against Ei, fighting against Shouki no Kami, and fighting against Barzissenkreuz: - In the Jade Chamber, his will was aligned with everyone to save Liyue - Against Ei, his will was aligned with everyone who has a vision in Inazuma - Against Shouki no Kami, his will was aligned with everyone in Sumeru (yes, Nahida was already in contact with people at that point, it's a Samsara, the time don't have a regular flow, everything already happened) - Agains Narzissenkreuz, his existence is literally Narzissenkreuz will, and his desire to change fate, redesign the reality and save Fontaine, also was aligned with Narzissenkreuz (which is a bunch of different beings condensed in a single one existence) In my point of view, what you call "reason" it's not incompatible with the Irminsul, the delusion is, because it corrupts the Irminsul, but the reason is more like an equivallent power and each one doesn't affect the other, like the Traveller's will don't affected the Sustainer when he attacked her.
There's actually a weird line by Paimon when the traveler touches the hydro archon statue for the first time - something about seeing light on the traveler.
Reason?? And I was here thinking it's the final stage of kemia, "Citrinitas", the ultimate power Khaenriah seeked. The true power that exists beyond this world, the perfection Rhinedottre chases. The power that the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles had no choice but to seal away from the Traveller because if this power fell into the wrong hands, as they are said to be summoned by Khaenriah or if the Traveller is to chose the wrong side, that power would be able to change the world accordingly. It's not that the Sustainer wanted to do that she did, it's because it was a necessary evil to protect order. What's hilarious is, Khaenriah summon the Travellers using unknown methods because they wanted a power that could rival the will of the world, a descender. However they ended up with the twin that didn't possess that WILL and grew disappointed as they thought they should have been that power from beyond. All that happening while the one that possess the WILL was dreaming for 500+ years before waking up to the destruction of Khaenriah in the great cataclysm lol. That's ironic huh... Anyways, I'm just yapping at this point
The Greatest Irony is that The Descender they never got Currently holds no Sympathy for Khaenrhi’ah’s Goals whatsoever and Sees what they have become: Terrorists. They will likely use Reason to free their Sibling and Change the World for the Better, all while Annihilating the Abyss Order.
Was the Traveller dreaming for 500+ years the fall of Kaenri'ah? The only 500-year landmark we have, is that they've been missing from Teyvat for 500 years the fall of Kaenri'ah.
7:30 "There's a premise to every legend, and that's belief." - Yoimiya. I can explain this easily with a current crack I have. The "descender's paradox". tl;dr anyone can be a descender, whether they're born from Tevyat or they're extraterrestrial. Because the "Will" that is needed to "rival the world" HAS TO COME from Tevyat. (Since the world we are at is Tevyat.) Just like Yoimiya who came looking for a meteor shower (a big allegory towards descenders, since the travelers are shooting stars), and instead what she witnessed were stars coming out FROM Tevyat.
I think that was more an allusion to the fact that the sky is actually fake and Irminsul actually is growing "upside down" - with its roots reaching the "surface" of Teyvat. Teyvat, I think, it "upside down" in a sense, or perhaps Teyvat itself is a reflection of reality.
Maybe being the element being reason also justifies why we can purify abyssal corruption as reason analyses the corruption and changes the core of the haphazard mutations that abyssal corruption brings
Seems like hoyo like to border science. Feels like a quantum system that’s basically nothing but probability (imaginary) until measured (reason). Great description of Paimon’s time abilities as well. That makes a lot of sense
Vid gave me a brain worm lmao The light element can still be a thing that the traveler has inside but it’s locked away. Great need is the reason it can sneak past the lock. Basically, like the unmeasured system with all the potential the light element is meaningless without someone to guide it and give it a will. Explains why Rene is so upset arkium has no ‘will’ unlike Desheret’s power source. And that could be why he went abyss bc it has a will as has been said in game tho I don’t remember where
quite the facinating theory, one nitpicking tho: the traveler does go through abyss portals at one point. during the 1st interlude after the inazuma archon quest, when the order of the abyss use the machine to try purging the curse the traveler uses the abyss portals to go to the gimmics powering it.
Ohmg you've put into words what has been bouncing around my head ever since I finished the Narzissenkreuz quest and went through the whole sword of reason part. As someone who simps for all the Herrschers of Reason from honkai , the wording of that segment of the ordo quest set off so many alarm bells for me XDDD Willing things into existence is something very in the wheelhouse for the Herrscher of Reason's powerset. One of the most prominent and blatant displays of it happens when Welt Yang from Honkai Impact uses his power to manifest entire armies of tanks, ships, planes etc to fight off an enemy in one of the manga set before the game timelime. So uh yeah, not the light element ...but the golden light is definitely still in line with another element system hoyo loves to use: the Imaginary element ( which comes in set with Quantum...that is usually represented by shades of purple) Super cool vid, looking forward to Part 2 to shake around my two braincells once more
there was a moment where the traveler was seemingly about to utilize a 'darkness element', when they encountered scaramouche during inazuma. they were clearly in pain from it, potentially because they were momentarily allowing delusions to override their reason [letting emotions cloud their judgement]. it's possible both siblings are compatible with both energies by default but the different experiences they've accrued have resulted in them being aligned towards one or the other [potentially the reason they used the light energy instead of dark during the intro was because they were attacking with the hope of just getting their sibling back, not allowing themself to be delusional enough to believe they could stop this threat but knowing one good hit could be the opening they need to save their sibling] it's late and i've had a bad day, sorry if rambling doesn't make proper sense
Makes perfect sense to me. Magic is almost always in some sense fundamentally a way of manipulating information, where the practitioner (and their mental state) are usually a component of the practice themselves. this theory is in a sense taking that principle to a logical extreme every everyone's different perception result in a different world. as for reason being incompatible with irminsul, that's like because it is causing a paradox. I think Normal people "see the world as it is and act accordingly" thus becoming slaves to their own perception. Just as much as their perception shape the world, the world then shapes them. Now, what would that them mean, if one perceived themselves? The ego would them become "the truth" that rejects outside influence. If you can then perceive the entire path to your ambition, and perception equals reality, then your "will" becomes the swing that cuts though reality itself. If Irminsul is the "true" record of the past, reason is the "true" record of the future. Thus they can never meet. The abyss twin lost the right to be a descender when they allowed the destruction of khaenria define who they are.
hey love the video, definitely need to watch it again. I don't know if i understand it to the fullest but i am a big fan of revisiting old theories with new information. Delusions are really overlooked in my opinion they have crazy implications that are rarely talked about at least to my knowledge. Keep up the great work! I am really excited to where this leads in part 2.
1:55 in that scene traveller was able to use his or her power because all of the elements are combined you see in liyue archon quest all of the adepti lend their power to the traveller to destroy jade chamber and all of the powers of the adepti are combined in to one which formed into a light element and in inazuma with out yae miko help and or all the visions that were taken from the people of inazuma the elements of the were combined in to one which light element is created and also traveller help them
Someone show this to fischl then we would have the most powerful being that teyvat ever witnessed. Jokes aside this is a very interesting theory also a very well made vid which i followed all along and wasnt distracted, that means a lot trust me. Waiting for the part 2 maybe this is what they meant when they said teyvat has its own laws, never thought a simple line like that would have so much meaning hidden but this is genshin so anything is possible.
People like to joke around about Paimon being the final boss, but deep down we all know it's Fischl lol. Tbf to her, she did create a whole sentient being out of her delusions! Colour me impressed! Thank you so much! That's really high praise and I'm really happy you enjoyed! Oh yeah, that line gave me some serious trust issues, nothing feels like a simple line anymore. You know how Paimon talks about eating Chicken Mushroom Skewers during the Ordo quests and the traveler keeps on bringing it up and calling it foreshadowing? I'm still half convinced that just spoiled the ending of the story, I just have no clue how 😂
My theory is that Paimon is the protector of travelers. It's been mentioned 2 times already: 1. In the Freminet event that's the role she has in the tale they made. 2. In this lantern rite (February 2024, spoilers ahead) while creating the kite paimon says something like "we can exaggerate it a bit and say that means ". Can't really fit in there why in the ordo quests MC thinks so much about what Paimon ate that morning. But in my eyes Paimon clearly uses food as her source of energy, and she needs a lot of food because she is protecting us all the time. What makes sense to me is that MC was unconsciously thinking about how Paimon ate just a bit that morning and how that may affect her ability to guide and protect us in that quest.
If they’re stuck in a cycle (travelers and loss of memories), then they would have that stored power as they already encountered all the elements and that’s why it comes out circumstantially. However, that’s only if that’s the light element. It could still be the holy blade etc. But then again. What if the holy blade is actually a manifestation of light energy (light blade). Either way, I like your theory. But I’m open to anything at this point. 😊
Now that you say the thing about how Paimon’s perception of time is different it makes me sad thinking about when we left the city during the Sabzeruz festival!!
I haven't finished the video, but the argument for when the traveler used the "light element" briefly againt Wanderer's boss fight, could be explained by the traveler having four out seven elements allowing them to very briefly tap into that power (the more elements they get, the more complete the light element becomes/the easier it could be to tap into) then again, it could also have just been a visual effect similar to a charged attack animation. Who knows.
As far as I understand Theyvat draws largely from the memories of the Calamity to recreate humanity with the help of Irminsul. Irminsul uses the energy of stars to store those memories this is what Apep refers to as "status quo". I don't really know why Irminsul was created in the first place or if the tree precede Theyvat. The game is showing that what is real in Theyvat only depends on how strong the will is. Thelxie's mother believed so strongly that her son was basically revived. This is an important event because it shows that human will is capable of altering fate. What if the art of Khemia was based on will in the first place the alchemists of Khaenri'ah found a way to artificially create life this was a deal breaker for Celestia and they attacked. The official reason was to stop the Abyss from covering Theyvat but as in all wars the actual reason is usually something entirely different. More over I heavily suspect that the "Celestial Nails" are what caused the erosion from happening on Archons. They basically committed genocide and had their memories wiped all in one swift stroke. This attempt to reset failed and the accumulated sins were instead stored in the Abyss, ironic enough Celestia created it's own enemy.
Even so, Tartaglia himself said, during his SQ, that he cannot use his Delusion for too long, as it causes him damage and exhaustion, and he even hid from his lil bro Teucer because "he didn't want Teucer to see him in such sorry state"
I love that you pointed this out and hope this trend keeps going in theories from now on because it's related to a huge problem I've had with a ton of theories. We should never theorize too much about ourselves because to the world we don't exist, we just didn't know to what extent in the past. Some would excuse this as "we just learned we were a descender" but that's just wrong we knew the traveler is a descender from literally the starting animation, we just got a name for it. We can't be an archon because we aren't from Teyvat. We can't have an element because we have nothing to do with Teyvat. Also, 99% of our time in Teyvat has been spent asleep so it's not something we could have gained any of that stuff in the past either. It's a fundamental flaw I've noticed in so many theories since I first joined Genshin in 2.3? I think somewhere in the 2.? area, my favorite part of the traveler and why I like their vague lore so much is because we don't even know what we are, where we even come from, and now who our twin is, we know nothing and everything we learn just adds more questions. I love speculation I always thought it's fun so I've never really adamantly pointed this out because normally as long as you ognored the idea that we are incompatible with the idea on a fundamental level, it's always felt like people treated "we traveled from world to world" like it was unimportant when it's like the biggest lore drop related to us, even if the twin is fake we, the player, still did. I really want people to theorize about what the hell we even are? I mean we clearly aren't human we have wings, we don't age, we are way stonger then realistically possible, and we interact with Teyvat pretty differently then others though that may just be because we aren't from Teyvat, also we aren't really super conserned with the idea thay we slept 500 years just that our sister was gone. Problem with really putting that theory together is how do you theorize about what race is from a world that doesn't exist and as such can't be studied to see if we can piece it together. Realistically the person we are closest to is likely The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, a god above gods simply because we aren't forced to abide by the laws of the world.
Master Yoda: _"Blinded we are if the creation of this clone army we could not see."_ Mace Windu: _"I think it is time we inform the senate that our ability to use the Force has diminished."_ Master Yoda: _"Only the Dark Lord of the Sith knows of our weekness. If inform the senate is, multiply our adversaries will."_ That cuts deep. I knew the theme of the game that everything is a big bubble universe same as the Sea of Quanta that branches out multiple bubble universes... finding ways to see the real reason behind the calamity that is unfolding. And i find it somewhat hard to believe knowing that the account of reason was well hidden in plain sight....
But isn't reason the primordial one's power? The artifacts represent the primordial one and it's shades, you got, the flower of life, for the shade of life, the plume aka feather of death, for the shade of death, the sands of time, for istaroth the shade of time, and the goblet of space for the sustainer, the shade of space, And finally, the circlet/crown of logos, aka reason/logic for Phanes, the primordial one, So if phanes is the god of reason, then how does, the primordial one and the twins, share the same power?
Ah, the temptation to write an entire thesis on this right here and now hahah. That's a great question and it is exactly what part 2 covers! Since there is a lot to go over, for now, let me just ask you this: did you notice the changes made to the domains in the last patch? We already had 5 crowns hanging above the Irminsul branch to represent the PO and the 4 shades (one per each kind of artifact), but now it is doubled and we have 2 sets of 5. Given that they represent the celestial gods, this duplicate could have a loooot of interesting implications. I do believe that Phanes is the god of reason, but I do not believe the real Phanes is anywhere near Teyvat. The PO ("who may have been Phanes" - Istaroth's Scribe) has also already been described as being delusional in game 👀.
@@arkangaming4496 Who knows what else Asmoday is capable of, i like to imagine that she is like a police officer and that she developed her abilities to secure, contain, and monitor other external beings; like what if the reason that MC is allowed to journey through Teyvat is akin to a probation period to determine the innocence of the MC, while in the case of the Twin to determine if they ate still susceptible to relapse into getting involved with people they shouldn’t get involved in.
I mean light element theory never even made sense to begin with. Our travelers powers were probably that of the stars because they are stars and the light element would have to be native to teyvat to combine 7 of the native teyvatian elements. The traveler isn’t native to teyvat.
What makes you think the Light Element is Native to Teyvat. Nibelung wielded the power of light but nothing says he was the only one. Nibelung himself may have been a celestial entity. The Primordial One, who is also not native to the realm that Teyvat now usurps may also have been one who wields light.
The travelers are not stars. Do not confound them with that. Im guessing you thought that way because of what Ei said? Well do take into consideration that she is basically very ignorant. She did not know anything about what happened in khaenriah and afterward she just shut herself into her puppet. She didnt even know about cameras. So she just didnt understand the concept of how the traveler travels among the stars.
@@Sakuyamondidn’t the traveler quite literally call himself a star. Ei didnt just make that conclusion on her own but was physically told so by the traveler.
The thing about the light element, how does it react with the other elements? I mean can you swirl with light? Is there a reaction with multiple elements similar to hyperbloom?
To me, light can't react with any of the seven elements, since they are part of it. But it may have reactions with other elements. We would probably get light after Sneznaya and I would guess we also see abyss then too, getting Dain as a playable character. They might have some duo reaction with each other or something. Not that I know of any other character capable of using light that can become playable.
what if the twin hasnt been awakened yet or is unable to wake and what we see is a puppet? since we often see them with the abyss the order could ve found the still sleeping twin and made a puppet copying the twins "data" and powers in order to get rid of the traveler seeing as the order is choosing to fight them. this might mean that the abyss order sees them as a villian since the traveler can cut thru delusion
Also in the cutscene of - We will be reunited, the Abyss sibling also have white glowing parts on clothes, but was using dark energy instead, so we can assume that glow of clothes does not a priory show the powers that can be used by Traveler or Abyss sibling, and in Scara cutscene Traveller used this Gold power on the sword, while clothes had color of the element Dendro (even if player used other element on Traveler). So maybe Gold and Black powers are not directly connected to actual element that Traveler resonated with and they can be used separately, but it also can just be a game convention, since in the cutscene with Tartaglia the Traveler used two elements at the same time, which is not available to the player in the game itself (at least for now).
My personal theory is that the gold power is just the accumulation of all elements like a backwards prism combining each color of light to make white or gold in this case and if you pay close attention each time the traveler uses this power theres always an accumulation of each element. Like in the fight with scara in his god form hes able to use all the elements basically while nahida works with him so theres the dendro part. Every other time was maybe a weaker version of the light like say a minimum needed to activate it would be uniting 3 elements at once and adding another element adds to the power overall. I dont do a lot of research but thats what my intuition is telling me.
lol i though when 4.2 quest came out that the abyss twin was the third decender but lost its power as they traveld threw teyvat. as they lost it they woke up their sibling (the player) and thats why the abyss twin dident use it. but idk about that tbh (would have explained why its the remains of the third decender)
"In Genshin, being Delusional grants you powers" Are you saying Fischl is the most powerful being in Teyvat and she can be by fully embracing her Delulu?
We call her delusional, but if she is right does that not mean that she is the only one with common sense? 🤔 I, for one, am ready to bow down to Fischl when she rightfully snatches the PO's throne.
My personal take is that I believe the fate people have in teyvat is that of a delusional or imagination for the heavenly principles to control, and that there true fate is that of “reason” I also believe that the gods in teyvat are able to access some part of the power of reason since Nicole specifically says that God can have a slim chance of defying fate basically breaking of a delusional or imaginary outcome and says that prophecies are of the gods perspective but have hidden corners where the gods gaze does not fall what I think she’s talking about is that when gods view the future through prophecies there only able to see glimpses of the major outcomes of the future but what they don’t see is the of the “reason” behind it for example, Fontaine’s prophecy it talks about how Fontaine will be flooded in. The people will dissolve into the waters and only the Hydro archon will remain weeping on her throne now if we analyze by what we saw in 4.2 then folcalors didn’t really “defy” fate in all the events of the prophecy, ended up becoming true the people dissolving is simply something that happens when they drown in the waters it the slates that show the prophecy It doesn’t exactly show the people being dissolved into the waters like it’s saying only that they will be washed away and in 4.2 neuvillette was able to wash away the sins of the people through the rain and the hydro archon did end up weeping on her throne since furina is folcalors without the divinity which means that when she became an archon, that was the moment she ascended to Godhood perhaps this is the reason why folcalors had to separate her divinity from her body and spirit, because the divinity of each archon is intertwined with the throne of the archon seat they have been placed in Would I also find interesting as how nahida says the prophecy was “carved” into irminsul long ago meaning that that prophecy wasn’t Fontaines original fate it was a punishment added later because of egerias “sin” what I also find interesting as how i think egeria may have found the prophecy slates in this old ruins when she was trying to find a way to say Fontaine and when she saw them she may have a recognized folcalors in that image and knew that she was the one who could stop the prophecy, not her so basically when I’m trying to say it is the glimpses of the future that a god can’t see are in fact the “reason” these events happened in the first place perhaps “reason” is the ultimate ideal of fate itself for there’s always a reason certain events happen due to someone doing something that leads to that catastrophe or you doing something that leads to someone else’s downfall that is what “reason” is and is the very reason why the ab disorder are not going to be able to defy against Celestias rulership or fate in general, by using the abyss because they are too clouded in their own delusions on what they want to happen rather than the actual reality of the matter the matter this could also be another reason why gods have consolations that depict themselves in their current form no matter what form they take since ventis original form was that of a wind spirit, so wouldn’t it be fitting if his constellation was a wind spirit instead of his current appearance this supports my theory on how gods have a higher authority over their own fate. It’s because they have a different different kind of common sense then humanity does even skirk says that “ beings who are higher than humanity often have a different kind of common sense” that common sense being of a type of “reason” and the archon that’s most associated with this is venti He’s the archon most associated with time and fate itself and the fact he was created by the god of Time supports this theory even more plus he even says that “i was nothing but a tiny wind spirit, spreading seeds of hope for better future” or something like that leads me to believe that venti in some capacity can change peoples fates or at the very least make a better outcome of there future this also Coraline to his ideal of being the god of freedom, because a lot of the lore in Genshin is that of people wanting to go against their own fate but venting seems unbothered he doesn’t care how his story ends as long as he gets the freedom he want because in order to be truly free, fate is simply accepted itself, because no matter what you do that outcome will happen Whether you like it or not so why care if that outcome does happen the main reason and why so many people feel chained by faith is the fact that they’re not willing to embrace and except the fate that they were destined for Thinking about themselves, rather than how it can benefit other people so to be truly free from fate is to accept it, and once you accept fate, you’ll finally be free of the burden of destiny you can do whatever you want and be whoever you want and your ending will still come out the same
Remember the event in Mond, where we were able to see children's imaginary friends ? Also this theory may explain why people have no reaction on seelies, it's not that hard to see them for Adventurers, but as we see none of them have interacted with them, like they do not exist for them. Also interesting moment, that we can take things from Leylines by giving Resin, XP scrolls, Mora, Artifacts, but what if most of the chests we find are also coming from Leylines ? and that's why we can find so many, when there are many skilled adventurers who did not find those, when they are in the middle of fields and even roads, and even Hilichurles and other creatures protecting them, so many skilled traveler can get them, also Bennet says that he always finds crap in chests, while we were able to find really good things... So even chests are different for different people in Teyvat. Also very interesting voice line Charlotte have, she literally surprised that we can Ascend her with some items - Ascension Phase 2: "So this stuff really does boost people's strength, huh? I thought it was all rumors, but now here I am, experiencing it for myself..." and - Ascension Phase 4: "Have you done this for other people in the past, too? Were the materials you used different, and if so, how? Also, I'm wondering... Uh, sorry. Force of habit."..... So Traveler, a Descender, can do what people of Teyvat (most of them, cos maybe Alise and her friend do know about that) did not know before that this was even possible or heard about it as about some rumors, so not many was able to do that, even from Vision wielders....
The reason they were able to us the golden power in the 3 fights is when they are surrounded by all 7 evements, it happened in all 3 fights that they use it
7:08 A random theory, but what if the Traveller didn't use that light power before the final attack, because they didn't have it? Maybe our twin being locked away is what gave us enough willpower/ambition to become a Descender? After all, finding our sibling is the main goal of our journey.
Its not "Reason". Its "Imaginary". And Abyss is actually "Quantum". You should play Honkai to learn about them. Non the less those two powers can be read as light and dark if one want, even if they arent completely that as an element. "Imaginary" can become many other powers such as "reason", "void", or "fire" and "thunder". In one way one can also read it as aether, the element of god in christianity and alchemy.
I'm aware of those elements as I've dabbled in HI3rd and play HSR. But reason is reason, as that is what it is called in genshin over and over and is directly inspired by Eliphas' work. I'm not disagreeing that it might be those elements or be connected to them, as genshin is part of the honkaiverse. But we still don't know how it connects with everything else, so calling it reason is correct while the rest is conjecture. Teyvat is... Quirky, to say the least, so there is really no telling what those elements could morph into when in contact with its unique nature, reason could even be the result of that.
@@BluesLoreCrumbs Well reason and imaginary could be two words for the same thing. It would be weird if two completley different worlds would use the same words for the same power. Same goes for honkai and quantum. It's like as if aliens would use the same terms for stuff like atoms, that's just not possible. (I mean it is possible, but the probability is so low that you can consider it as a 0.)
To be honest, i thought that yellow effect against Shouko no Kami was just the physical effect of the Traveler’s heavy strike. It reappears again in the Wanderer Quest and is standard for when a weapon disappears and reappears and stuff.
Since people connect lore to name His power is definitely light his name is literally aether who embodies the primordial light in greek mythology I don't know what to tell you
Getting a vision would mean that your fate is tied to Teyvat which is impossible for the Traveler because their fate is unknown thanks to having a fake constellation.
Good video, about the yellow glow on the travelers blade though, i have seen a very similar glow on all other characters when they summon their weapons and it seems like they can use it to telepathically control their weapons, so is it posible that this energy is connected the seven element, maybe the more elements you control the more of this energy you have access to, also if teivat is a delusion and the irminsul is incompatible whit reason why can they be corrupted by the abyss, which is also delusion aligned
1. Light (raw elemental energy) and Reason just look similar 2. everyone in Teyvat produces their own "Delusion", Abyss corruption is simply a particularly big and dangerous one. 3. I think Blue is saying Irminsul is incompatible with *both* Delusion and Reason, or maybe the Abyss' Delusion is overpowering it.
@@ralfian0234 i understand points 2 and 3, but why if raw elemental energy and reason are so similar and the traveler says they are recovering their original power when getting more elements, they are not the same?
I don't think that's the power of "Reason" I think that's the power of a star. Our Traveler has literally, bluntly told people that they are stars. What do stars do? They grant wishes. When does the Traveler show this golden power? When people are placing their wishes on them. Wishing on a star grants that star the power to grant wishes.
What if they are siblings and not twins? What if the abyss twin was born in teyvat, and they had to leave bc of some catastrophe, and the other sibling was born outside of the teyvat, and therefore they are not from teyvat but have resonance with it
This actually kinda explains Dottore, and maybe Capitano. Dottore’s “delusion” is that humanity can, and will surpass the gods. And I think everyone seeing Capitano as “the strongest human” is what makes him so, everyone is delusional about him, so he is that much stronger because of this
I think they only get to use the light element when all 7 elements are present like the jade chambers all adeptus had and transferred some of the missing elements travel and the vision hunt decree he had all elements from deferent visions
Reason's opposite is not delusion. It's emotion. The oposite of delusion is reality. So... Big flaw with the hypothesis, there.... The Traveler's sibling is not a descender, because (s)he is recorded by Irminsul. While the Traveler is not. But maybe that's because (s)he died (and then got resurrected). But they likely could use the same powers, as we are... Someone mentioned it sometime (sorry, don't remember who and when) that we seem to habe the same powers as they do. Aranaras were saying it, too, I think. Now, about the power... Why it is likely to be light of some sort: Lumine and Aether. Both name meaning light. They are references to the 5th classical element (fire, water, air, earth, aether). Which was cosidered to be some sort of light. Luminiferous aether is also a theorised medium for the propagation of light and gravity. Luminiferous meaning light-bearing. It was supposed to be the thing the universe is made out of (where no real matter is - like in space). It should also be the opposite of void... So, it is not light exactly, but more like the matter of the universe before it takes specific shape. This, the fact that we are called a star and in the opening scene have 6 wings, like an angel in gnosticism (which is a huhe inspiration of the lore) all supports the theory that our power is indeed light. How can we use it sometimes, but not always? Well, if you think back, first, we had no idea we had powers. Then, we accidentally used it with Dvalin's tear and since then tried to use it on purpose, which got easier and easier... Our normal attack before resonating with wind is also called past memories, suggesting that we forgot how to use our power. Once we resonated with one element, we gained some control over matter and we got more of that with each element. Just as we get more and more experience in fighting and so become stronger opponents... About Childe, he for sure has stronger will than Teppei and I am certain it makes a difference. He is also a vision bearer, while Teppei and Diluc's dad weren't. Clearly, when it comes to controlling powers one's willpower gives the base. When Kazuha became determined like crazy, he suddenly could use 2 visions. While Beidou could headstrong her way through cilling a monster without a vision... We, it seems, win the headstrongness race. I would also like to point out, that Sustainer has red cubes and it engulfs her gold cubes coming from her hand. It is consistent with alchemy, where rubedo trumphs citritas. A well-known alchemist also says, the almighty of Christianity shines gold, but once Christ was resurrected from the dead, he wore a red crown... Meaning with all this, that we didn't reach our true potential, yet, and that the Sustainer was stronger than us because she did. But the game's name and dropped lines left and right suggests that at the end of our journey we will reach the level of rubedo, too. Btw, missing elements from the namechard are: void, light, the two arke from Fontaine and whatever Dains has.... Maybe...
I think the traveler's element is one of the 2 standard hoyoverse elements missing from genshin, Imaginary. Meanwhile Dainslief you could not pick out of a lineup of the other element, Quantum. These are two opposing elements that have an annihilate reaction to eachother, but do not interact with the other elements. If that sounds familiar, yes, pneumaousia are these elements. the game just doesn't want to call them that. As to what the traveler is. I subscribe to the theory that he's a wishing star.
Cool theory 🤙 The one element that doesn’t add up is the Traveler claiming that they are reclaiming lost power. How could you reclaim something that you didn’t know you have? Would the traveler claim a power native to Tayvat as their own? It seems obvious to me that the power used in the opening cutscene was native to the Traveler and likely the sibling as well, I mean they were both flying through the sky on golden wings of light right.
I have a theory myself, as said in the video, the "white" element that both Lumine and Aether uses in the pre-incident time with the unknown God isn't light, my theory states that's it's instead purity, and the element the abyss uses is Impurity, polar opposites, and also, the element the unknown God uses might be corruption, as 1: the cube thingy the God uses has some similarities with Geo with its creation of different forms and it's high durability, the ability the God uses to stop the twins (the red-black portal) might be a corrupted version of Electro or a similar space as the Plane of Euthymia (Raiden Shoguns consciousness), the power that the God uses to float might be Anemo as, you know, Anemo characters tend to like flying around
Honestly I clicked on this video very skepticly but it made some really interesting points and so have many of the viewers in their comments, however I personally don't think the traveler used the golden power against the false god. From what I can tell it looks like a really fast and powerful plunging attack, but just that a plunging attack. The plunging attacks in game actually have a similar visual effect as the one from the cutscene just toned down but I imagine if you amp up the power of the attack it would visually amp up too, however it didn't look like the traveler got powered up like he did with the jade chamber and when fighting Ei and I think the visual effect looked different too. If the golden power is reason and can cut through delusion it makes it even less likely to be that golden power, because it failed to cut through the delusional false god and didn't do any serious damage. If it was the same as the other times the traveler got powered up or the same as a highly explosive power from the opening cutscene I think it would have done a lot more damage. Lastly aside from it looking almost identical to a plunging attack I don't think it's unreasonable to believe the traveler could crack the armour of the false god unaided by any power. After all when it used one of it's massive hands to hit the traveler with a powerful slam attack the traveler blocked it with one arm with only going down to one knee, the highly thick and sturdy looking floor gave out before the traveler did. If you add that incredible physical strength to a lot of speed and momentum it wouldn't need a power up to crack the false god's armour. So in conclusion I believe that attack was a plunging attack and nothing more. Anyway despite interesting ideas talked about in the video I still believe the traveler uses the light element in the opening cutscene which I think is different to the power the traveler used to drop the jade chamber. Also can someone please tell me why everyone is referring to the sustainer as asmoday, did I miss something?
first of all i haven't watched the whole video but i have watched it till 10:02 , 1. at the start of the game the twin says that his powers are sealed so about the point you say that he used the white light might be because of leak of that power itself and if we say light element is made of 7 elements then thats the reason that we can use all the 7 element of world because we have the light element sealed within us maybe we had collected half or more element of the world that why the seal is starting to break and the light energy is leaking 2. if you notice the sustainer is also using the light elemental energy & also when sustainer catches us and the end of the cutseen we can see clearly that twin used his/her full power and attacked (maybe they didn't underestimating the opponent but here we go with full power for the theory) the light element in his hand got caught first which might had been travellers full power which was sealed or might had got absorbed by sustainer and the remains of his power helped him resonance with other 7 elements and that's why the traveller took more time to wake up then his/her twin /////// here my theory //////
Wait then that means if lumine is still alive and not dead then she was corrupted by delousion od forbidin knowledge and she would go on to do what she did amd she was brought to khaneariah and that slowly corrupted her its hard to keep up with this lol
THroughout the story of Genshin, well Venti said ANY Vision could evolve into a Gnosis, which I found to be important, and the world SEEMED to be adhering to EI's hunt for Visions by not gifting any Electro Vision during the vision hunt Decree, and I forgot where I heard it but it wasn't until Kazuha REAWAKENED the masterless vision that more electro visions began to appear, and I found that odd but sorta fit the narrative telling... things started to shift as the WORLD of teyvat was altered through the actions we take as Traveller (and the world reacting to said actions alongside what we learned, which sorta creeps me out actually) Then comes the Samsara introduction in Sumeru... that added toa bunch and we learned that Scaramouche seemed very powerful with a stolen Gnosis... and then comes his character quest (him gaining the Vision and the almost godlike Anemo powers it gave him(which doesn't hold up unless you max him and super tune artefacts) Overall it seems that the World Influences what the others react to, and Delusions are pretty much an Underside Mirror to Visions... Before anyone says that isn't true... The energy people use as Visions is Elemental energy, right? So as the Traveller we can use the same energy, but my question, how do we know the Visions DON'T draw from the bearer as Delusions do, I mean think about it some eat away at the Bearer's Health (Hu Tao, most(All) of the Fontaine Crew, and even the Traveller) and some heal others, but is it truly healing or forcing the world to forget the wound still exists, but needing the healer to remember it does?... From what I have seen the Visions are just a NATVE Usage of Teyvat's Elemental Energy, while the Delusions are a FOREIGN Usage... and the Traveller's Reason(Light, Will, Etc.) Is used to counter both types, oddly enough to the SAME Effect...
I love Childe, he is literally my favourite character in the whole game. But we have to admit that every Harbinger is their own brand of insane. Childe is no exception - again, he'd fistfight a god if given half a chance - but we love him for it!
what if the white coulor on the travelar at the beggning is the light element but the travelar can also wheild reasoning witch is the yellow power that they strike the unknown god with
Soo at the moment the traveler fights raiden shogun and uses the reason powers why at there 2 glitches and if you pause we see a person with brown hair and eyes that definitely is not the traveler do we have any leads?
Only vision wielders can breath in Fontaine's waters. Did you play the muskets event? In it Chevreuse talks about how her father used to force her to swim from one shore to the other in freezing waters and how one time she thought she was for sure going to drown. Then she adds that that happened before she received her vision, to explain how that would even be possible. I know it has been explained multiple times, but I don't remember where else.

Reason is the one thing that came out of the Ordo quests that I'm most obsessed with and I'm convinced it will play a major role in the story going forward. But what are *your* thoughts? And what did you most enjoy from those world quests?
Have you heard the expression: "It may be known by the light of reason"?

Aether and Lumine have equal chance of becoming the Abyss twin vs the Descender

In Kabbalah this element is called Keter aka The Crown, the element of God, the element that is beyond the human mind capability.
It's the element that affects all the other elements of the Tree Of Life, and then when they all connect, the result is Malkut aka Physical World aka Reality.
Awakening the Power of Reason might very well be Asmoday’s (The Sustainer) Plan: Teyvat would perish without the occasional arrival of Descenders, so her mission is to ensure the Continuity of Teyvat through intercepting other Descenders (like herself) and having them experience Teyvat long enough to care for its inhabitants to change the direction of their Fate, thus Sustaining Teyvat’s existence.
getting some real Loom of Fate vibes
Reminds me a bit of Gold. 😈
Even if a Descender leaves, as long as they have done their duty, their effects on Teyvat will remain.
I NEVER EVEN NOTICED THEY USED THEIR POWER SO MANY TIMES you can even see their outfit colors change to a pale gold when they use their reason element

The golden power is the power of the faith, will, belief, desire and wish, or as your choice of words, "reason"... everything in the game which has golden aura or power is related to this kind of thing:
- 5 stars characters and weapons - obtained by wishing
- 5 stars artifacts - the characters are literally praying in the artifacts session
- Irminsul branches - shine golden light when we pray for them in the domains
- Those artifact Nahida used in the battle agains Shouki no Kami - literally the will of Rukkhdevatta
- Khaenri'ah source of energy - literally their will to surpass the gods
- Enkanomiya's light - the result of people's wish to survive and be free from the Vishaps
- The god being like the Archons, the Sustainer, probably Phanes, Celestia, etc have the golden aura - their power come from the people's belief in them
- Indemnitium - was Fontaine's main source of power, and used to came from people's belief in justice
Traveler used golden power when fighting in the Jade Chamber, fighting against Ei, fighting against Shouki no Kami, and fighting against Barzissenkreuz:
- In the Jade Chamber, his will was aligned with everyone to save Liyue
- Against Ei, his will was aligned with everyone who has a vision in Inazuma
- Against Shouki no Kami, his will was aligned with everyone in Sumeru (yes, Nahida was already in contact with people at that point, it's a Samsara, the time don't have a regular flow, everything already happened)
- Agains Narzissenkreuz, his existence is literally Narzissenkreuz will, and his desire to change fate, redesign the reality and save Fontaine, also was aligned with Narzissenkreuz (which is a bunch of different beings condensed in a single one existence)
In my point of view, what you call "reason" it's not incompatible with the Irminsul, the delusion is, because it corrupts the Irminsul, but the reason is more like an equivallent power and each one doesn't affect the other, like the Traveller's will don't affected the Sustainer when he attacked her.
There's actually a weird line by Paimon when the traveler touches the hydro archon statue for the first time - something about seeing light on the traveler.
I think that's just the pneuma energy manifesting
damn the traveler becoming the herrscher of reason with this one ‼️‼️‼️
The Genshin equivalent to reason might still be Citrinitas, like how Honkai's quantum is Genshin's abyssal
Wait I'm pretty sure they arrived in khaenri'ah before their powers were sealed, they were fleeing.
Erm, my comment is missing, what gives? I’m confused.
Was the Traveller dreaming for 500+ years the fall of Kaenri'ah? The only 500-year landmark we have, is that they've been missing from Teyvat for 500 years the fall of Kaenri'ah.
I was thinking TCG revealed it to be the Omni Element but who knows. Mihoyo loves misdirection as much as they love the reveal
(Since the world we are at is Tevyat.)
Just like Yoimiya who came looking for a meteor shower (a big allegory towards descenders, since the travelers are shooting stars), and instead what she witnessed were stars coming out FROM Tevyat.
Vid gave me a brain worm lmao
The light element can still be a thing that the traveler has inside but it’s locked away. Great need is the reason it can sneak past the lock. Basically, like the unmeasured system with all the potential the light element is meaningless without someone to guide it and give it a will. Explains why Rene is so upset arkium has no ‘will’ unlike Desheret’s power source. And that could be why he went abyss bc it has a will as has been said in game tho I don’t remember where
quite the facinating theory, one nitpicking tho: the traveler does go through abyss portals at one point. during the 1st interlude after the inazuma archon quest, when the order of the abyss use the machine to try purging the curse the traveler uses the abyss portals to go to the gimmics powering it.
perilous trail?
Ohmg you've put into words what has been bouncing around my head ever since I finished the Narzissenkreuz quest and went through the whole sword of reason part. As someone who simps for all the Herrschers of Reason from honkai , the wording of that segment of the ordo quest set off so many alarm bells for me XDDD
Willing things into existence is something very in the wheelhouse for the Herrscher of Reason's powerset. One of the most prominent and blatant displays of it happens when Welt Yang from Honkai Impact uses his power to manifest entire armies of tanks, ships, planes etc to fight off an enemy in one of the manga set before the game timelime.
So uh yeah, not the light element ...but the golden light is definitely still in line with another element system hoyo loves to use: the Imaginary element ( which comes in set with Quantum...that is usually represented by shades of purple)
Super cool vid, looking forward to Part 2 to shake around my two braincells once more
there was a moment where the traveler was seemingly about to utilize a 'darkness element', when they encountered scaramouche during inazuma. they were clearly in pain from it, potentially because they were momentarily allowing delusions to override their reason [letting emotions cloud their judgement]. it's possible both siblings are compatible with both energies by default but the different experiences they've accrued have resulted in them being aligned towards one or the other [potentially the reason they used the light energy instead of dark during the intro was because they were attacking with the hope of just getting their sibling back, not allowing themself to be delusional enough to believe they could stop this threat but knowing one good hit could be the opening they need to save their sibling]
it's late and i've had a bad day, sorry if rambling doesn't make proper sense
Makes perfect sense to me.
Magic is almost always in some sense fundamentally a way of manipulating information, where the practitioner (and their mental state) are usually a component of the practice themselves.
this theory is in a sense taking that principle to a logical extreme every everyone's different perception result in a different world.
as for reason being incompatible with irminsul, that's like because it is causing a paradox. I think
Normal people "see the world as it is and act accordingly" thus becoming slaves to their own perception.
1:55 in that scene traveller was able to use his or her power because all of the elements are combined you see in liyue archon quest all of the adepti lend their power to the traveller to destroy jade chamber and all of the powers of the adepti are combined in to one which formed into a light element and in inazuma with out yae miko help and or all the visions that were taken from the people of inazuma the elements of the were combined in to one which light element is created and also traveller help them
Aether: GIVE MY SISTER BACK!
YOU ARE MY SPECIAL
It's been mentioned 2 times already:
Paimon’s like a dog- you leave them for 10 minutes and they are so happy, and frantic when they see you again
Now that you say the thing about how Paimon’s perception of time is different it makes me sad thinking about when we left the city during the Sabzeruz festival!!
Well, at least she had Nahida to keep her company. I think those two would make good friends.
damn what if at the end of the game the Traveler gains a vision but its element is Imaginary
or it could be quantum too idk
I haven't finished the video, but the argument for when the traveler used the "light element" briefly againt Wanderer's boss fight, could be explained by the traveler having four out seven elements allowing them to very briefly tap into that power (the more elements they get, the more complete the light element becomes/the easier it could be to tap into) then again, it could also have just been a visual effect similar to a charged attack animation. Who knows.
idk who said it but in genshin it was something along the lines of “although weak blooded, what we call mortals, still have power.”
Okay, this is actually so well thought, i really like this theory so far, and it does hold grounds!! It can really beat some old theories asses!!!
Master Yoda: _"Blinded we are if the creation of this clone army we could not see."_
Mace Windu: _"I think it is time we inform the senate that our ability to use the Force has diminished."_
Master Yoda: _"Only the Dark Lord of the Sith knows of our weekness. If inform the senate is, multiply our adversaries will."_
That cuts deep.
The artifacts represent the primordial one and it's shades, you got, the flower of life, for the shade of life, the plume aka feather of death, for the shade of death, the sands of time, for istaroth the shade of time, and the goblet of space for the sustainer, the shade of space,
And finally, the circlet/crown of logos, aka reason/logic for
Phanes, the primordial one,
So if phanes is the god of reason, then how does, the primordial one and the twins, share the same power?
Very simple, the Primordial One and the Traveller are both descenders.
I still think the reason as asmoday didn't imprison us but our twin is likely because they are not a descender
Wouldn’t it be quite the plot twist if the Twin we met is a copy and the real Twin is still with Asmoday.
@@EthHawke94 It would makes sense.
@@EthHawke94 looks like she can control tesseracts
What about the MC (Traveler) poses a weak Power of Reason that later will infuse with all elements (the extra Culus) and becomes the Power of True!?
İn honkai impact you can make elementel reaction with quantum and imaginary so yes
@@beyza_iReason is Imaginary while Delusion/Abyss is Quantum
the Light element is something else
I never realized just how fast paimon is, (look at when she flies over to the traveler after getting smacked by scaramuche's mech)
what if the twin hasnt been awakened yet or is unable to wake and what we see is a puppet? since we often see them with the abyss the order could ve found the still sleeping twin and made a puppet copying the twins "data" and powers in order to get rid of the traveler seeing as the order is choosing to fight them. this might mean that the abyss order sees them as a villian since the traveler can cut thru delusion
so being delulu in teyvat grants u god like powers, amazing lol
"In Genshin, being Delusional grants you powers"
Are you saying Fischl is the most powerful being in Teyvat and she can be by fully embracing her Delulu?
We call her delusional, but if she is right does that not mean that she is the only one with common sense? 🤔
I, for one, am ready to bow down to Fischl when she rightfully snatches the PO's throne.
It’s because they have a different different kind of common sense then humanity does even skirk says that “ beings who are higher than humanity often have a different kind of common sense” that common sense being of a type of “reason” and the archon that’s most associated with this is venti He’s the archon most associated with time and fate itself and the fact he was created by the god of Time supports this theory even more plus he even says that “i was nothing but a tiny wind spirit, spreading seeds of hope for better future” or something like that leads me to believe that venti in some capacity can change peoples fates or at the very least make a better outcome of there future this also Coraline to his ideal of being the god of freedom, because a lot of the lore in Genshin is that of people wanting to go against their own fate but venting seems unbothered he doesn’t care how his story ends as long as he gets the freedom he want because in order to be truly free, fate is simply accepted itself, because no matter what you do that outcome will happen Whether you like it or not so why care if that outcome does happen the main reason and why so many people feel chained by faith is the fact that they’re not willing to embrace and except the fate that they were destined for Thinking about themselves, rather than how it can benefit other people so to be truly free from fate is to accept it, and once you accept fate, you’ll finally be free of the burden of destiny you can do whatever you want and be whoever you want and your ending will still come out the same
I hope one day we can get our sword and power back 🔥 and teach those a lesson who made us do missions when we should rest and spend time with friends
So Traveler, a Descender, can do what people of Teyvat (most of them, cos maybe Alise and her friend do know about that) did not know before that this was even possible or heard about it as about some rumors, so not many was able to do that, even from Vision wielders....
the theory of it being imaginary from honkai also is solid
if you consider the abyss powers as quantum
Also, *Welt Yang* who is Herrscher of *Reason* weilds *Imaginary type* in *HSR* which is basically the *light element* .
The reason they were able to us the golden power in the 3 fights is when they are surrounded by all 7 evements, it happened in all 3 fights that they use it
Me thinking of building traveler after Every traveler theory
Literally immediately thought of this. Like homegirl rlly made a 30 min video to explain what is already widely known
@@Staeve. Bro be nice
Since people connect lore to name His power is definitely light his name is literally aether who embodies the primordial light in greek mythology I don't know what to tell you
Aether not mean light though, Lumine maybe
Well, corruption by the Abyss is certainly a problem for Irminsul, and Rukkadevata had to sacrifice herself to put a stop to it that one time.
1. Light (raw elemental energy) and Reason just look similar
2. everyone in Teyvat produces their own "Delusion", Abyss corruption is simply a particularly big and dangerous one.
What if the abyss twin was born in teyvat, and they had to leave bc of some catastrophe, and the other sibling was born outside of the teyvat, and therefore they are not from teyvat but have resonance with it
The sword of narzissenkreus sword looks a little bit like The original sword traveler had just a teeny Tony bit
This actually kinda explains Dottore, and maybe Capitano. Dottore’s “delusion” is that humanity can, and will surpass the gods. And I think everyone seeing Capitano as “the strongest human” is what makes him so, everyone is delusional about him, so he is that much stronger because of this
No, the weapon fitting to wield against world devouring darkness would be a nuke
And it is already confirmed the abyss twin is from teyvat.
I think they only get to use the light element when all 7 elements are present like the jade chambers all adeptus had and transferred some of the missing elements travel and the vision hunt decree he had all elements from deferent visions
Eyo, that was dope! I'm so ready fur part 2!! Cya when I cya fam😊 🤗
LET HER COOK!!
I subscribe to the theory that he's a wishing star.
anothe greaaaat video, Blue 😍
cant wait for pt2
Paimon also has the time symble on her cloths as that one youtuber mentioned
She's casting a Sunlight Spear, so it's obviously Holy, duh.
I think the sword the traveller use might be his original sword
in the universe, where perception is reality
Cool theory 🤙
The one element that doesn’t add up is the Traveler claiming that they are reclaiming lost power. How could you reclaim something that you didn’t know you have? Would the traveler claim a power native to Tayvat as their own? It seems obvious to me that the power used in the opening cutscene was native to the Traveler and likely the sibling as well, I mean they were both flying through the sky on golden wings of light right.
You will only get the light element power after 90’ing the traveler and maxing all skills on all element types….. that’d be a gut punch , huh?
Very big brain theory
It's the power of wallet-kun
the elements is like something in Chinese philosophy: 仁义礼智信
To disprove your theory on the Scaramouche God, that was just a plunge attack not any elemental attack
HELP I GOT A GENSHIN AD WHILE WATCHING THIS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You cannot escape the genshinception, none of us can 😔
Literally everyone who plays hi3rd knows is imaginary element
Also can someone please tell me why everyone is referring to the sustainer as asmoday, did I miss something?
first of all i haven't watched the whole video but i have watched it till 10:02 ,
1. at the start of the game the twin says that his powers are sealed so about the point you say that he used the white light might be because of leak of that power itself and if we say light element is made of 7 elements then thats the reason that we can use all the 7 element of world because we have the light element sealed within us maybe we had collected half or more element of the world that why the seal is starting to break and the light energy is leaking
2. if you notice the sustainer is also using the light elemental energy & also when sustainer catches us and the end of the cutseen we can see clearly that twin used his/her full power and attacked (maybe they didn't underestimating the opponent but here we go with full power for the theory) the light element in his hand got caught first which might had been travellers full power which was sealed or might had got absorbed by sustainer and the remains of his power helped him resonance with other 7 elements and that's why the traveller took more time to wake up then his/her twin /////// here my theory //////
Wait then that means if lumine is still alive and not dead then she was corrupted by delousion od forbidin knowledge and she would go on to do what she did amd she was brought to khaneariah and that slowly corrupted her its hard to keep up with this lol
This video made me en"light"ened

Genshin got the same type of moon as ATLA
reason is also a honkai herrscher!
THroughout the story of Genshin, well Venti said ANY Vision could evolve into a Gnosis, which I found to be important, and the world SEEMED to be adhering to EI's hunt for Visions by not gifting any Electro Vision during the vision hunt Decree, and I forgot where I heard it but it wasn't until Kazuha REAWAKENED the masterless vision that more electro visions began to appear, and I found that odd but sorta fit the narrative telling... things started to shift as the WORLD of teyvat was altered through the actions we take as Traveller (and the world reacting to said actions alongside what we learned, which sorta creeps me out actually)
Then comes the Samsara introduction in Sumeru... that added toa bunch and we learned that Scaramouche seemed very powerful with a stolen Gnosis... and then comes his character quest (him gaining the Vision and the almost godlike Anemo powers it gave him(which doesn't hold up unless you max him and super tune artefacts)
Overall it seems that the World Influences what the others react to, and Delusions are pretty much an Underside Mirror to Visions...
I have no real thoughts on this. But it's a great video.
I think the gold attack is just physical dmg attacks lols

I love Childe, he is literally my favourite character in the whole game. But we have to admit that every Harbinger is their own brand of insane. Childe is no exception - again, he'd fistfight a god if given half a chance - but we love him for it!
It's still the light element in my opinion it's closer to using a portion of light instead of all of it
what if the white coulor on the travelar at the beggning is the light element but the travelar can also wheild reasoning witch is the yellow power that they strike the unknown god with
This aint an apetizer. You hyped up the dish, fed the backstory for it, gave us a NIBBLE. Then said, come back in a week when its finished 🤣
isn't that just like....geo!?
No
Reason
Like Herscherr of reason 😱
Soo at the moment the traveler fights raiden shogun and uses the reason powers why at there 2 glitches and if you pause we see a person with brown hair and eyes that definitely is not the traveler do we have any leads?
speaking of Thelxie, how did the kid drown in water that can be breathed? even Yoyimia and Ayaka can breath it
Only vision wielders can breath in Fontaine's waters.
