Great Video, just one thing I noticed was don't have the exhaust pointing up; having it pointed up causes problems with the unit. Keep the exhaust level or pointing down.

Good call! I'll make sure to keep that in mind for future use.

Happy New Year! Are there diesel heaters in Liberia?

Run the exhaust horizontally, with a slight downward angle, before turning and going out of building. Be advised that the way you had it set up would never show very good results, because you had a cold air intake right behind the unit. For every BTU of warmth you were creating and convecting into the room, you were pulling nearly the same amount of cold air in. You can heat any space with just about any heat source, if that space is insulated and sealed. What you were doing is using a garden hose to try and fill a 5-gallon bucket with a 3/4" hole in the bottom of it. You can do better!

You’re right, it probably would have worked better if the exhaust was directed differently. I’m just getting started with this, so I’m still learning!

Did the room temp rise? More than 2 degrees?

Yeah, it did. About 10 degrees. It would have gone a lot higher (I think) if I was out there to observe it. Not sure why it cut off, but I think that’s a feature.

Poor video. The title was never proved. It did not get above 42 and your window was open for the exhaust letting feezing cold in.

Oh shoot. I’m sorry it didn’t meet your expectations. It got the garage up to about 50°. You’re right about the window, but I thought the output would null the cracked window. There wasn’t really a cold draft coming from it.
