I was gonna post the same thing. They should tear everything out and clean up the bay real good, especially get all the oil out of the bay. This way when you put the new motor back in its nice and clean

Hey Bruce once you get the engine repaired you should put a very loud train horn in it
Instead of using loktite use heat silicone that way vibration will not back them out

Using the car lift to pick with one arm is a recipe for breaking shit, all the load is going thru the cables and plastic pulleys, hack mechanic special

Bruce I need ya to check out my 24 valve 47re problems lost communication with tcm and tps falt think I fixed that now my second gear only engages when I romp in first then go easy in second or romp it till it hits 5 k then rubber band shift in to second gear rest of gears are good you can check it out

I got my motor out of my truck without doing any of that. I pulled the motor, trans, and t case all in one piece. Just gotta be careful to not dent the oil pan or at the very least not dent it too bad.

The worst I've ever seen was in Iraq my first tour we had a high lift fork lift with a 6bt in it dropped 3 cylinders still ran
Worst I saw was a 6bt running on 1 cylinder at 1800 rpm it had broken it's camshaft in half, numerous rockers broken, and had dropped 2 of the 3 still camshaft driven cylinders via bad injectors. And it still drove itself into the shop
D L Worst I’ve seen was a 6bt running on 0 cylinders at 0 rpm. The truck was not turned on yet.

Bill Gates a 12v cummins is not computer controlled, yes the truck has a computer but it will only pop a check engine light if the alternator goes bad. On the flatbed he probably has the computer deleted anyway.
