I daily drove mine 90 miles a day between Cardiff and Alfaholics in Bristol where I work for three years. I got it in 2008 with 98,000 miles showing and it's now on 207,000. Quite a lot of the mileage is track use, it's been to the Nordschleife three times. I still have it now but it only does around 3000 miles a year. It's a Twinspark with the UK Veloce parts. Original engine and gearbox, never been opened.
I have a 1988 Alfa Romeo '75' Milano Gold Automatic, yes Automatic! I daily-drove it for 3 months until it broke down. Fuel pump and alternator died. I got the parts, but it is winter here in the States. Mine sat in a field for 12 years, and the previous guy got it running good. This makes Alfa owned number 13, Hopefully it's not bad luck. Here you go again. I have an 88 Milano Verde which went from a daily driver to a big project. Having owned 101 and 105 series Alfas I thought I knew what I was getting into. When the car was running well it was a joy. When something broke, and nearly everything broke, except the engine and transaxle, it was traumatic to say the least. I can’t part with it so maybe it can be my urn when time’s up. 😊😊
I have 1988 milano gold quadrifoglio 2.5 i put the alfa 156 early 15 inch teledial wheels looks good but I think now better to put back the original 14 inch wheels.
I had a GTV serie 3 from 1986 with this engine put in, And my dad had a 75 1.8 turbo GREAT cars, the De-Dion rear aksel together with the trans aksel set up, makes them drive like you in heaven. Great pick.🎉
i own a 75 2.0 carburetors. Best wheels for the TS would be the Ronal or the Speedline. The computer on my 75 works perfectly. These are great cars, the driving experience I think is better than an E-30 as the 75 is much more stable and way less prone to overstreer thanks to the De Dion suspension system at the rear and the 50-50 weight layout via clutch and gearbox positioned at the reear plus in-board disc-breaks at the rear as well to reduce unsprung weight on the wheels. Tehcnically it is a superb car, as you very well know! When I bought it I was actually surprised about how comfortable it is also on long journeys, and not as badly built as I had been led to believe for decades. ....I own also a Mercedes w123 Coupe', hence I know a thing or two about well built and comfortable cars.

Love your theatrics in the "barn"! In Australia we'd call it a "shed find". What's the Dutch equivalent? I have just bought a 75 to add to my British classics and as my daily driver (no winter salted roads here). It was a "shed find" by the previous owner who replaced all of the rubber and other parts which decay in storage and some other key components but the drive train is in good nick. The main issues for me are brake discs (worn out), rear calipers, the long long brake pedal (is there no way of adjusting to reduce travel?) & position of the accelerator - comfort issue on long drives. Very keen to see how you progress. Thanks for your YT channel.

The best rims are the 5 lug Ronal or the A.S.N. Spec, the best rims ever. A tip to have a better gear change is to put some kind of power flex style lever bushings. It will feel waaaaay better
I will look at the Ronal rims. Or SZ Speedlines...? I own a GTV6 and I've spent a lot of time with bushings to get the gear change better. The 75 already feels much better than what I started with on the GTV6.
Well I like all of it, even the interior, plastic and all. I really miss that 80s boxy style. This will be an awesome daily driver and I hope you get to enjoy it for a long while. BTW, what was the pushups and counting in Japanese all about? I assume that you got that from something like a Karate class or such. Osu!!!
