Are cars really cheaper to buy in Japan? More specifically, are Mitsubishi EVO's cheaper in Japan? Well lets find out! I go to a used car dealer yard in Japan. Check out the JDM used cars for sale & find a very cheap EVO 5 for sale!

the first "evo 5" was an evo 4 and the second one was an evo 6.
@@ricknovak3477 the lack of wheel arch mouldings giving the widebody look and flared front guards also is a dead give away that its a 4 along with the hood vent being completely different. the 2 teeth like spikes in the grill were only on the evo 4 also

first "evo 5" was actually a 4. You can tell because it doesnt have the rear flairs and the front bumper is different

The first Evo is actually an EVO IV
Evo IV is one of the least desirable Evo out of the whole lineup and the price reflect that
It was the first generation with reverse orientation 4G63 and it is known for crank walk
Not to mention, there are no wider track (Flare) of EVO V or VI.
The second Evo can be an EVO V or VI.
It have Evo VI front bar but Evo V seat.
The third Evo is an EVO VI.
The Evo 4s aren't "known" for crank walk, the failure rate wasn't much higher than any other run of the mill factory turbo engine. Also, only the first batch or so made in 1996 were affected; Mitsu fixed the crank walk issue, which is why it almost never happens in later models.

The hole in the GT4’s hood does not go to the alternator, it vents into the black air inlet further back, supposedly cooling the timing belt.
That black volvo wagon is v70r. They are AWD online 5 turbo and make 300hp wheel from the factory. I own a s60r which is the sedan in the states, I built mine to 400hp and the thing is a beast. Hell of a car for 5k
Anything from Volvo with Polestar are absolute animals. Great on the track, right off the lot.

Just get a base model lancer instead the EVO if you're just going to hack it into pieces and convert it rwd as it'd probably be significantly cheaper that way 1-3k for base lancer vs 10-13k(if your lucky imo)for Evo rs. Btw not trying to hate but cutting up an evo viii and making it 2door seems really odd.

@@yakayakasfncgh3901 Honestly they look like a weird Honda/Acura Integra that I never new existed lmao, jokes aside personally I prefer the evo as a 4 door but I the evo 1-6 doesn't look too bad as a 2 door and would be easy to accomplish and afford with a 2 door mirage with evo headlights and tails swapped plus a modded body kit to fit the 2 door vs all the fabrication need to make the evo 7-10 a 2 door. Also I think seeing an evo drift truck would be more interesting (still wouldn't use an evo chassis though) but IMO the coolest would be the evo ix station wagon but those are probably pretty rare and expensive
