Travel the world ? I'd not get in a bus through town with him ! Apart from that, well... not entirely, i've been abroad for 30 years ! Although if i was longer abroad than i'd spent growing up ? Then technically after that point i'd be no longer abroad ? And i don't think anybody who speaks from their heart, as Pilkington does, can be classed as an idiot ? Which all other pre-meditated politically minded egocentric types such as that french mate of his, gervais seem to be ? ? ? ?
No, I wouldn't want to travel with Karl. Those places he goes to are horrible. But he didn't choose them, of course. I'd like to go for a walk in the park with him and look at the birds and chat with him. That would be enough. For him too, because I would talk his ear off. I'm known for it.
they call him an idiot just because he isnt interested in deepths of the subject but his views on it...and most of the time his views are right as the subject is irrelavent just like tweeter posts but most people are opssesed by it and for them it is an important thing
Nah Karl at home and he has sent them on the worst trip ever and he gets to decide stuff that happens/have to do.....from his living room would be amazing
Karl makes some really interesting points especially about people still taking from you right up until your death. My dad had the same attitude. God i miss him so much xx
My dad worked at the crematorium and a vicar wouldn't bless a particular plot until he'd been paid, so my dad said a few words to ease her pain a little.
my dad has also passed, you have to hang in there, trust me no amount of time will ever fill that void, and in some way you never really accept it, you learn to live with it I am shit at taking my own advice, but for what its worth you have to hang in there, I know it hurts and I don't know you, but I know you got this!!
My favourite karl pilkington quote is... I'd rather live in the cave looking at the beautiful building then live in the beautiful building looking at the cave
Ricky would never do it. He wouldn't mind travelling but not the way Karl did. Ricky would be flying first class, booking King Suites in 5 star hotels, and getting limousine and helicopter tours. If he went to the Taj Mahal, he'll pay and book the place for himself for an hour so only he can enjoy it without other people there. That's just how it is. He wouldn't fly economy, sleep on a mattress in a mechanic's shop and ride in Tuk tuk's. So if they went together, it would just be 2 people experiencing 2 completely different worlds.
I had the pleasure to meet Karl a few years back saturday 9 oct 2016 in leeds. I actually live in Portsmouth and had drove up to bradford that friday to see family til sunday. Late friday i heard karl was doing a meet in leeds the next day and seeming i was now only just 15 miles away i went. When i say hes the exact same dude as the tv show. Hes the same dude. Its not scripted at all. He was so funny to everyone even when i went up to him
I'm from Europe and when they were talking about sunsets, I went to US few years back for the first time and I immediately noticed the sun was shining from a different angle during the days. It's random but I pick up on small things like that and in a sense it's a sort of 'wondrous' feeling. At least for me, I always notice little things like that
Just go for it .in joy every min .every thing his diffren .color ,colch and even buetefull.keep you eye wide open and you will see so much so diffent.xx
Karl accusing Warwick of not saying what he really meant by saying things were majestic was funny. When Karl was in Peru and couldn't be arsed walking all the way to the wonder he called Steve and said the view was majestic, which made Steve suspicious.
@@seanbrown8533 you're right, my mistake. The fact that I'd forgotten must mean it's time to binge all the karl content again. Back to xfm series 1 it is.
He was spot on about elections. People should be forced to educate themselves about what theyre voting for instead of being allowed to vote for who the media has told them to vote for
Love Karl, but when he's going into the rhetoric about Warwick not visiting galleries in London I was thinking "But it's still _different_ galleries in Venice, and you're there much less, so that's why you'd go there even if you don't in London. Not going to a London gallery doesn't mean the Venice galleries are a treat to be denied"
You schould do a local trip around England, or around Europe. Ull be surpriced with the differences , just looking into what, or how, ur neighbor lives or do thkngs

Would you like to travel the world with Karl?

A final Idiot Abroad where Ricky & Steve come along with Karl would be among the best UK TV programmes ever!
Yes, would be, but no way they would ever come travelling and slum it with Karl.
Nah Karl at home and he has sent them on the worst trip ever and he gets to decide stuff that happens/have to do.....from his living room would be amazing
'An idiots revenge' I would so watch that
true, I would love to see Ricky crying
Yeees
Wonder if Warwick has ever kicked his height
Does he have 'knees?'
Just to be like Ricky Gervais.... "What's hight" lol ??
He stepped it.
i hope not you have to consider the health implications with kicking your height
It's much easier when you have no knees.
Warwick: “how long did it take Marco Polo?”
Karl: “Ages”

I don't think Karl realizes how absolutely brilliant he actually is!
Yes. I like to think of Karl as a great "sit-down" comedian.
He does, he plays a character in public appearances. In private he's quite intelligent, he's just great at 'acting the fool'.
Oh I think he knows. He's giving poor Warwick no time to talk at all.
That guy is so true to himself.... he is just great!
“That guy” get out!

Karl just says it for what it is, not for the camera. Love he's honesty.

Karl Pilkington is an international treasure.
I like how Karl isn't PC about pointing out Warwick's disability as a hindrance for his traveling experience.

Pretty sure this was aired just after the third idiot abroad series so it's from ages ago unfortunately
This was 12 years ago, Rick and Karl aren’t friends anymore.
A final show with rick and Steve coming along and the finale is Karl finally eating a knob at night would be tv gold
This interview was “ majestic “
