- Join Dougal and me as we celebrate Christmas in the caravan in a calm, cool, chill kind of a way. Christmas need not be a time of stress and excess, it can be a time of calm to reflect on the small but very important pleasures in life: A cup of tea shared with a friend, a walk on the beach, a quiet evening curled up with a book, the smell of a freshly peeled clementine...
There are also people who spend Christmas on their own, and this video portrays a quiet Christmas alone in a positive light - you don't HAVE TO be surrounded by people in order to have a happy and fulfilling Christmas.
There is, however, a small twist to the tale, and I hope you enjoy it.

What a beautiful spot there right by the beach with nobody else around! Merry, merry christmas Andrew & Dougal!! Love the tree! Twig trees are very 'in' at the moment! What a lovely gesture, giving your 'airstream' ornament to your friends! Great to see Eilidh, looking really well and you look so much happier and healthier too, I hope you've had a nice long rest! I'm just having a rest after looking after my mum for 3 days, I am absolutely knackered! Poor mum can hardly walk and I may have done my back in!! Nevermind, she's more important! Glad you enjoyed it Jackie - I certainly enjoyed making it! But the sad fact is, it took me two weeks to make and despite being the highest quality video I've done for a long time, it's also the lowest performing. UA-cam is a frustrating place like that :(

And it is a very special one, because today we have scattered some of our dog Sam's ashes on a klif. We really wanted to bring him to the UK (we are Dutch) because he has spent so many vacations here. Happy paw prints everywhere..
