- Thank you for watching!
This week I wanted to sing a song that's a little different than my normal. Sometimes I avoid recording "classical" sounding songs because they feel intimating and exposed, but I want to keep working to be bold and try things that are challenging. Working on this song was totally worth it, I love the beautiful, flowing melody, and I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it.

Delightful, and admirable that you both sing and accompany yourself. We are fortunate to live in an age when it's possible simply to log in and listen to performers such as you.
@@byronking9573 wow, thank you so much! It’s really an honor to be able to make music for you all ♥️
My six year old granddaughter, and I sang along with you why we did painting.🎶❤️

Another lovely song from AM! 🥰
You just make the sweetest comments!!
great
Thank you!
Awesome. Thank you so much. After clicking two or three times, I found you doing it just right :) How do you make that sound with the piano. I don't know music, but it sounds... kind of... almost broken. ie a half broken piano in the front bar of some saloon 800 miles away on horseback from the nearest piano repair workshop. I hope that doesn't sound offensive. :) You made my day. Thank you so much :)
Aw thank you, that's such a thoughtful comment! The reason it sounds kind of funky (the broken sound) is partially because the microphone is pointed away from the piano, so you're getting the sound after it's moved away from the instrument and bounced around the room. Older upright pianos also have a strong attack sound (where you can hear the hammers inside of the instrument), which gives it a cool sound that's a bit different from a nice piano on a recording. Anyway, I hope this answers your question, I too love a quirky sounding piano!
@@theannemary Thanks. Now I have to spend ages learning more :)
very nice ( I sing this to my wife
That's a real song?
Her pitch is so much higher than I can do. I sound like a sad frog in comparison. 😅
Anybody got a tomato?
haha I'm actually allergic to tomatoes, so that could get a bit dangerous.
