If you want your plastic shower liner to last longer, wipe it down with disinfecting wipes (or a bleach solution) somewhat regularly. Frequency does depend on the bathroom and how humid your climate is, but I really hate throwing out so much plastic, and it doesn't take much to keep them clean and your bathroom air healthy!
Add to your list…beautiful cleaning tools. Straw Amish broom; vintage horsehair dust brush; lambs wool duster with wooden handle; small goat’s hair dusting brush; all my skincare essentials decanted into vintage glass apothecary bottles; home made skin care in vintage milk glass cosmetic jars; decant hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol also into glass jars; cleaning white vinegar decanted into gallon vintage bottle; cleaners in glass spray bottles. I just transitioned from liquid hand soap to bar soap, so a pretty vintage dish for that in the bathroom. And I have also transitioned from “Dawn” and sponges to bar kitchen dish soap and linen (homemade) dishcloths, which are on display in a vintage French enamel wall pocket. I live in a tiny apartment, most of these things are in view most of the time, so it is extremely important to me that it all be pretty. And practical. And I have the advantage of a lifetime of collecting/thrifting.
Really love the idea of changing out your wall plates. Especially if you have a dark coloured wall paint- seems to make sense to just try and match the wall colour at the very least so a stark white plate does not stand out! Such a great and easy idea- thanks Becca!
I would add good quality door knobs and AC registers to this list. I try to have everything that isn’t tucked away into a closet or cabinet be pleasing to look at. I don’t tire of well made functional items in the same way I do artwork and chachkies.
*Decanting Soaps* . I decant my kitchen dish soap, hand wash and counter cleaner into amber glass bottles with no labels. I repurposed a large hand soap container for the dish soap and the other bottles were Target dollar spot scores. I have plastic amber bottles in the bathroom for hand wash and lotion.
I have been patiently a bit anxiously waiting for ur video 😆🥰. Love watching your videos. Will you be sharing your Christmas decor ? I know we will all love to see how beautifully you have decorated.
I filmed it WEEKS ago 😭 put all the footage on a brand new external hard drive and it got corrupted or something. But I have data recovery for that device so I’m waiting on that. I’m not very techy, so it’s been kind of difficult to figure out. I’m still hoping I’ll still be able to post something Christmasy!
Really interesting video!! Things we never think of! I have the white plastic trash can in my kitchen. Under the sink can will not do we have too much trash lol. But I saw ikea had some pretty ones.
The problem with enclosed toilet brushes, is they don't dry out very well. You don't want the pink liquid, it's chock full of nasty bacteria. If you do have or do purchase one, PLEASE allow your brush to dry out before putting it away. You can accomplish this by simply putting the handle between the seat and the bowl, with the brush over the water in the toilet.
It's so strange to me when people say things like "of your limited space bc your house is small or you're a renter" - not all rentals are tiny little houses. I've rented 4 bedroom 3000 square for condos on the beach and 4 story Victorian homes as well as everything in between. Makes no sense at all to me.
Because the average square footage of a rental in the US is 916 -1,437. Not all rentals are small but, according to the numbers, most are. Yours sound like an exception, and I’m sure they are lovely.
The thing that bothers me with the wall plates is the fact the outlet/light switch itself doesn’t match the wall plate 😭😑 i love a pretty wall plate but my brain hates that it doesn’t match the inside part
Ok, but the "anti-labels" movement has created a culture of overbuying plastic containers for things that really dont need to be in a different container.

Guilty as charged on the bathroom waste basket and I've been looking for a new one with lid; thanks for the ideas! :-)
So true! It’s in the little things… Thank you Becca!
100%! 🥰💕
Wow! I actually was able to check these all off as done! I completely agree.
A++ to you 🫶🏼😁
I love this so much. Not spendy but biggg impact. Thank you for this video!
So glad you liked it! 💕😊
Yes! Little details like that can make or break your space! Love your practical approach and always enjoy your videos.❤
The only thing about changing out wall plates is sometimes the switches do not match. At times I’ve spray painted the switches.
I did my light switches recently, made a huge difference. My family even noticed. 😂
If the fam notices you know it’s impactful 😂
💫Great tips 🎉❤ Love your channel & find you so genuinely refreshing! Thanks for sharing ~ Michelle from SW Florida✨️

Shower curtain liners can be washed and dried if you have a fabric one. Just pop it in the washer and dryer like anything else.❤
I swear I learn something new for y’all every day 😂

Hey! The bag in my bathroom white plastic garbage can is not walmart; its white with no logo, so I stand vindicated. 🙂
I hate when you go into a nice clean beautiful bathroom and you see the garbage can full of garbage
Literally same
My bathroom 😂. I keep the top off for some reason
So do I. Honestly never gave it much thought.@@ToniaAlex13
