An old friend Doyle Brewer had many of these guns made in Ferlach. Most we made in the 1960s and 1970s. The quality was of absolute perfection. There was nothing that could be improved.
Superb, absolutely superb. Many times I think craftsmanship is a thing of the past, then I see something like this. Even the choice of wood, absolutely breathtaking.

To have the talent, ability, skill and patience to execute gorgeous engraving is amazing.
Each piece is unique. A work of art. They are heirlooms. And the price is out of reach for all but a few people. I’d rather have a well made off the shelf firearm that I can use in the field.

Looks out of place to put a modern red dot on such a work of art
I have read this now few times already about the red dot. Well, I agree, it is a piece of art but it’s still a working gun and the idea was to make a perfect rifle for European driven hunt. And for this reason work red dot perfect. It’s not like a big bore double rifle for African dangerous game where you work very well with open sight
We need some of these made in the USA.
I know only two gunsmith what have ever build a four barrel gun. It’s a very special mechanic and it’s like you make a Lamborghini Hurricane for off-road use 😊

Cresko, I am 75 and it was my privilege to visit H. Scheiring last year. Superb metal and wood joining that becomes classic art. Keep focused on the beautiful things of life and you will go far.
Hunting is so much more than mere killing of animals. Firearms from Scheiring add greatly to the experience.
@@TLC150 I am myself PH and guiding since more as 30 year hunter from around the world. Never I would say that I am the better hunter. I am a guide but in the end is shooting my client and he is the hunter. I can’t aim and pull the trigger for him. My respect goes to each of my clients and HUNTER and nothing wrong if the join her passion with a custom made top gun
@@HuntGeo As a single income since 1978 I have been guiding hunters and fishermen from all over the world in the U.S Pacific NW to Alaska on Brown bear and Yukon Moose hunts so I have seen all kinds of firearms and many European double rifles, but this was the most unique 4 barrels rifle I have even seen and never could be imagine being made.
I am a custom rifle builder also using one of my own AR 10s I chambered in a reloaders wildcat cartridge of 375 - 300 WSM for power and fast auto loader shots on Alaskan brown bears but that 4-barrel rifle and single trigger would be pretty fast on attacking bears just be in at least the 9.3x62 Mauser or 9.3x72R and 375 H&H magnum or a 416 Rem magnum.
@@lurebenson7722 I was always fascinated in the technic from guns and I think to build a 4 barrel single trigger gun you must be something like crazy or genius but properly both ☺️ I agree 100% this gun is a kind of life insurance against charging dangerous game 👊

Very nice gun - it would be interesting to see how the precision is about 50 meters by all 4 shots one behind the other on placed sitting.
That's the big trick with multi-barrel rifles -- regulation of the barrels. They can't just be parallel, else you'd get a group as large as the muzzle spread; instead, they have to converge a tiny fraction of a degree (looks like it'd be a minute or so for the right and left barrels on this example) to bring the impacts closer together than the muzzles at some particular range. And it can't be done geometrically; the gun has to be fired for groups, adjusted, fired again, adjusted again...
Make it a shotgun and it’s the Fourth Horseman from Destiny.

1:31 на видео видна толщина сволов калибра 8х57JRS доволно мощный калибр со стандартным давлением пороховых газов для подобных патронов. Но ведь ствол карабина под этот патрон гораздо толще! Как эти тонкие стволы не разрывает? В них есть хоть какой-то критический запас прочности?! Они выглядят как стволы 410-го калибра, где давление в разы меньше!

I have mad respect for the craftmanship... but from a perspective of the weapon and its intended use, this seem like a terrible idea nowadays. All 4 barrels have different aim and they look awful thin at the muzzle.

It's fine on an ugly modern rifle, but on that more artistic firearm, looks like somesort of a tumor.

Would have been nice to just hear the craftsman working. The sound of tools is so much nicer to hear than the LOUD overly dramatic, and unnecessary FOREGROUND MUSIC.

@@tomlongbow bei sehr vielen Jäger ist es ein NO GO zum Beispiel bei einer Drückjagd eine Semi Automatik zu benutzen und ein Vierling ganz klar schneller ist als eine Repetier Büchse. Die Frage warum ist berechtigt, aber das lässt sich auf fast alle Gebrauchsgegenstände umwälzen. Wozu Rolex und nicht einfach Swatch, warum Ferrari und nicht einfach Toyota, warum Hugo Boss und nicht einfach Stange von C&M, und und Es kommt immer auf den Standpunkt drauf an, was man sich leisten kann und wieviel man bereit ist für etwas auszugeben. WMH 🤝🌿
