I really liking it's BBF, and even better with the Single Turbo, i wanna do the same with my 521 Stroked BBF in my 86 Mustang, had it since 1994, and seen few different engine combos, 69 351 Windsor was the first swap years ago, then ran Clevelands for a while, then moved up to the 429-460 Ford Stuff, and absolutely love em. Right now still N/A with my Big Block, been Low Nines in the 1/4 on 275/60 Drag Radials. Really wanting to do a Large Single Turbo with some better Cylinder Heads in the future. These 429-460 Ford Engines are such great foundations to build on, makes lots of Power and super reliable. I really love your car. Excellent job on it.
watched the drag week video came over here hoping to see a build video on the Comet. I have 64 F-100 bought when I was in High School all the way back in 1972!
The FiTech has been great for me. Tuning has been relatively easy however these things are not simply bolt on and go. Take your time and do your research if you get one. Once you get them dialed in they're great. Overall Im happy I got it. Thanks for watching!
Cool vid man. I have a 460 in an Australian Ford Falcon and always wanted to turbocharge it. What convertor stall are you running? I assume the car is pretty light? Thanks
Love your build and have followed on turboforums. I do have a question. How much boost are you building at the starting line? I had a carbed blowthru with the same pro series hat and couldn't build boost on the starting line.
How much did the fuel system run you I have a gt45 ball bearing turbo I am putting on my 429 .40 over forged flat tops and extreme 4x4 cam 1.7 stainless roller rockers arp oil drive and rod bolts rings been gapped rotating assembly has been balanced rods resized double roller timing chain dual plane intake list goes on I was going to try to convert my 780cfm double pumper to blow through but I want something reliable you know?

This thing sounds just like my stright pipe cavailer but no turbo sounds at idle u probably couldn't tell the difference

At 8 psi it's probably adding 100 hp. That's a big block providing that power ya know...
Low boost = less worries about breaking stuff. Good reason to start with a big block.
