Hey, thanks for watching and commenting! Glad you were able to find a place to get your fill of Warrior vids! Hopefully some of them helped out. Video tomorrow will be talking about how you can will that left side clean up kit, so be sure to watch! Thanks again, stay safe out there brother!
I appreciate the fact you sharing your insights to the "Warrior" community. I just purchased a 2006 a week ago and you've been a great help...It speaks Volume of the type individual you are. Thank you very kindly sir. Bradenton, FL 💯🤘
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the compliment. Hope your Warrior is getting some good rides in. Mine will be in the road by the end of the week and I can't wait. Thanks again, stay safe out there!
Thanks Bryan! The video was on point as usual 🔥🔥🔥. I had the hardest time trying to get the oil fill cap off even though I tried with a washer, screw driver and everything else I could think of. What worked was a tool called a "carbon gasket scraper" I got it from AutoZone and had to file down the corners a bit and the end to get rid of the edge, but now it's perfect. Thanks again!
One of my favorite politicians is from Vermont, but I try not to get too much into politics on here. Always end up alienating about half of the people. 🤣 I appreciate you watching and commenting, hopefully the videos have been able to help out a little. Stay safe and healthy out there brother!
Ever since I got my warrior i have been following you and taking advantage of all of your videos. Without youI don't know where I would be. I'M IN MIAMI, FL.
Thanks for watching and commenting! I have been to upstate New York, but would love to see the city. Think you'd have to live there a while to be able to actually see everything. Would also love to hear about five Warriors riding down the street with the exhausts echoing off some of those high rise buildings. Thanks again for sharing where you're from. Hope you're close to getting your riding season started. Stay safe out there!
Ray Hicks , Naples, Florida - every time I do something to my Warrior other than changing oil I check out one of your videos on the subject . THANKS ! Brian
Washington state here. Your videos are great and reassuring I’m on the right track of my mechanical abilities with my warrior. And helping me keep up on maintenance on the bike. Great tricks you mention in the video to help. Like using the washer. Great idea. And great information.
You make it look so easy. I guess it is if you know what you are doing. Thanks for this essential information. Notice the color of the Old Oil compared to the New Oil that came out the weep hole. Old was yellow - new was clear. Very nice.
I don't know that the previous owner had changed it in a while. I appreciate the compliment! Definitely one of those magic of video things. Only way to watch a ten minute video and have the oil completely done. The whole process took well over an hour, especially after purposely over filling it. Always glad when they can help people out.
From Fort Lauderdale. I have an 05 Warrior with just over 10k miles. I'd like to change my fuel filter and thought that might be a good clip to make . And thanks for your vids, they're great
Hey, thanks for watching and commenting. Trying to talk the wife into moving to Florida. Want to be able to ride year around. She wants Montana...... Think we have two different ideas of the weather we are looking for. That's what happens when I'm from California and she is from Wisconsin. 🤣 as for the filter, can I ask why you're wanting to change it? The filter for these bikes is located in the reserve tank and has no scheduled maintenance. Supposed to last the life of the bike. Sometimes, they may foul up though and need to be replaced. Definitely a video that would be great to have though either way. I appreciate the idea, and will have to check into it and see if I can make something happen. Thanks again for watching and commenting brother. Stay safe out there and get some rides in for me too, my riding season is close to finished.
Another from Australia. Got a '99 Roadstar. One dealer not long after I bought the bike drained all the oil out but didn't realise that one drain plug was the transfer case. Xfer case disintegrated soon after. Had it all rebuilt at dealer expense. Another dealer didn't know about the transfer case until I warned him. Doing it myself this time.
Thanks for watching and telling where you're from. Always enjoy it when people around the world watch and comment. Like knowing that my videos are seen far away. Hope the video was able to help out! Thanks again! Stay safe brother!
No problem Alex, as always, thanks for watching bud. Also appreciate the comment. Hope that Texas is having a mild winter this year. It was nine degrees this morning when I went to work. So ready for spring to get here so I can get this bike back out!

Watching from the Philippines. Great channel for Warrior owners! Thank you so much for taking the time to provide all this info. Just subscribed. Own a 2002 Warrior that I bought new in '02. Unfortunately military duty and overseas work has kept the bike in storage for the most part of the last 12 years. Going back home to Northern Arkansas when this virus travel ban will allow. Already planning on the left side clean up and replacing air filters with K&N stock filters. Other mods will follow as budget allows but now I just want to ride again.
Good stuff man! From duncan Oklahoma, and I've got an '07 warrior. I've been watching these to see what work I'm gonna have to do to mine since I just got it.

@@RSWarriorBryan yup..back to riding..Thank you, let me ask you something.. Met a guy with a 06 Warrior, he said when he does like 80 mph the bike sputters. You ever heard of that before? Solution have you?
@@RSWarriorBryan hey Brian, I just did the gear oil change as per your instructional video, here is a dumb question do I hold the bike level while the new oil drains out of the weep hole? Or while it's leaning on its kickstand...I held it level.
Your instincts are always spot on man. I just propped a block under the kickstand to hold it level while it drained out. It took about thirty minutes because I had pumped so much extra in to make sure the video showed it drain. Hope yours didn't take that long while you held it.
@@RSWarriorBryan Bryan, the srew that goes into my pipe to hold the baffle in place keeps dissappearing, and advice to keep that bastard in place? If it wasnt for the end cap screw the pipe would have spit the baffle right out!

Hey Jay, thanks for watching and commenting. Glad the video has been able to help. The drain bolt is 13 ft/ lbs and the checking bolt is 5.8 ft/lbs. Hope that helps as well. Thanks again for watching and subs. Hope I have a few more videos that can be useful as well. Stay safe brother!
Bryan, do you have a video on removing the stock exhaust? I have pulled the canister off already but want info on removing the header bolts and if there is anything i should be concerned about the removal. I have a 2002 Road start warrior.
Hey Nathan, thanks for watching and commenting! My cousin, who is like my brother, lived in Henderson for a while. Vegas would get me in too much trouble if I lived there. Last time, I tried to climb the Luxor. Much alcohol involved in that story. Haha thanks again for watching! Hope it's been a mild winter and you're getting some good rides in.
Thank for watching and commenting! Bet you get to ride almost all year around down there. Would love to live somewhere I could do that. Hope the video was able to help out. Stay safe brother!
Hi Bryan, i went out to start the warrior today and petrol started pumping petrol out the r/h side of the carb. It looks like a breather outlet but no pipe, whats going on ?
Hey Joseph, thanks for watching! Where at in California? Not sure if you've seen the video with my brother, that's where I spent my childhood. Was born in Montclair, but grew up in Colton. Wish I had the weather out there for sure, nothing like riding most of the year. Thanks again for commenting and letting me know where you're from. Stay safe out there!

Welcome to the family! You're gonna love the Warrior. I still smile when I hear it start, even though I owned my first one almost five years ago. They're awesome bikes. Glad that the videos are able to help!
Hey Kyle, thanks for watching and commenting! Are you a year around rider? I am not lucky enough to live where it's nice enough to ride all year, and way too scared to brave the cold. 🤣 I get to ride from about April through September, and can squeeze a few rides in on days nice through the rest of the year. When I think of Canada, I think of cold though. What months is the riding season for you? Thanks again for commenting and watching the video. I hope it was able to help out! Stay safe brother!
Sorry it took so long to reply to this. Have you had any luck? I've heard of this before when it gets torqued down too hard. One option is to remove the case and get the cap out that way. They're not terribly expensive to replace, but it is a lot more work than one hopes to do when changing fluid. They do also make a tool for it. If you haven't gotten it yet, get with me and I'll find you a link to one. Sorry again and hope you got it off without any other problems!
@@RSWarriorBryan No worries! Some of the guys at the forum helped me out, i ended up just using a flat head and hammer and tapped it out! Thanks again!

Yes sir. I didn't use a stand, I just used a few blocks under the kickstand to keep it level. Just be careful not to tip it over on its right side when stood up like that. Hope the video was able to help! Thanks for watching and stay safe!
Hey Adam, thanks for watching and commenting brother. Hope the video was able to help out. Think I have another guy named Ajay that rides a Warrior in Albuquerque, or around that area as well. If you ever see a midnight tearing up the streets, could be him. Thanks again, stay safe out there brother!
I haven't had a stock exhausts in a long while, and trying to look at pictures, the area looks pretty covered. Depending on the space between the exhaust and the case, it may be possible, but I don't think it would be easy. You also don't want to strip the cap on the case, which is pretty easy to do.
@@RSWarriorBryan thanks Bryan I was wondering after changing my oil today for the season and due to a recent knee replacement surgery I was unable to get on the ground so a buddy came to my rescue and questioned the gear oil change!
Definitely a good thing to get done, if it's been neglected. From what I remember, there may be a break in the stock exhaust where the pipes meet just before the case. May be able to pull the rear part off from there and get a good open area to get it done.
@@RSWarriorBryan yes it is thanks for asking Bryan today was my first day in 8 months I was able to ride my Warrior before the seasons end it was very it was very inspiring to be able to!
Thanks for subscribing! You must have a very short riding season up there. Has we are lucky enough to be able to ride from about match through October pretty decently, and even a few times through the winter. What does your season run?
You've got more dedication than I do! I don't ride if it's below fifty. 🤣 I used to bundle up, but not in the last few years, unless I'm testing a winter mod.
Hey Patrick, Thanks for watching and letting me know where you're from. Thanks! I hope that they're able to help some people out with their bikes, and save them some money. Hope you're getting ready to get some good rides this spring in Stockholm! Stay safe out there!
That looked easy enough! -Albuquerque, NM
Definitely! Super quick and easy. Worst part was taking the time to let it all drain out. Hope that freak snow storm left the area and you're back to riding again. Thanks for watching and commenting Ajay!
Elizabethtown ky, keep up the good work great content!
Hey Andrew, thanks for watching and commenting! Hope the video was able to help. Also hope the weather in Kentucky has been good this year and your bike is getting some good rides in. Thanks again, and stay safe brother!
Hey Bryan, thanks a tonne for the tutorial. Could you please add a link to where to buy the washer for the drain plug. Thanks!
This video helped me, thanks a lot!

Hey Rob, thanks for watching! Would love to live down in Florida and get some more winter riding in than I get to. I've gotten too old and don't break it out if it's under fifty degrees. Thanks again, stay safe brother!

Thanks for watching and commenting! Ever make it out to the salt flats and watch them break records? That would be a pretty cool experience. Hope the video was able to help. Stay safe brother!
Torque specs? You have great delivery on the info. :)

@@RSWarriorBryan I'm from the riverside area but I work in Pomona so I'm out in the Colton area all the time. Thanks for the reply you have sum grate tips on how and what to do. I just got a 2003 Yamaha Warrior all custom and plan on doing all my own work.

Hey Bryan i can't get the fill bolt off. Its like seized on there i already destroyed the part where the washer goes. Any tips? Thanks man
Sorry it took so long to reply to this.
Auguri e buon Natale
I am assuming you did all this with the bike level? or leaning over on the side stand?
Yes sir. I didn't use a stand, I just used a few blocks under the kickstand to keep it level. Just be careful not to tip it over on its right side when stood up like that. Hope the video was able to help! Thanks for watching and stay safe!
Albuquerque New mexico
Hey Adam, thanks for watching and commenting brother. Hope the video was able to help out. Think I have another guy named Ajay that rides a Warrior in Albuquerque, or around that area as well. If you ever see a midnight tearing up the streets, could be him. Thanks again, stay safe out there brother!
Southwest Michigan
How much gear oil does that take?
Can this be done with the stock exhaust in place?
Think I may have seen the surgery in the Fb groups! Hope that it's all healing up nicely!!

As long as the roads are dry and we have a few days above freezing I ride all year round
You've got more dedication than I do! I don't ride if it's below fifty. 🤣 I used to bundle up, but not in the last few years, unless I'm testing a winter mod.

Hey Patrick, Thanks for watching and letting me know where you're from. Being right off the lake is probably nice in the summer, but gotta hate that lake effect snow in the winter, along with that short riding season. My brother in law was stationed at Fort Drum, and I remember them talking about all the snow. Thanks again, hope the video helped!

Thanks for watching and commenting! I'm trying to convince my wife that southern Arkansas would be a good place to move to. 🤣 seems like the weather would be a little better for riding longer in the year. That or Florida, but she is against that idea. Guess we will see what happens. Thanks again! Stay safe brother

Thanks! I really appreciate the compliment. I'm hoping that we are on our last little cold spell here in Missouri. Vacation coming up starting Saturday, so gonna get my winter mods finished next week and get the bike on the road for the first time this year. Beyond ready.

Awesome! As cold as it is up that way, you either don't have much or a riding season, or you are hard core and ride in colder weather than I do! I cut it off at about fifty degrees. My sister's husband was stationed in Fort Drum New York and they got massive amounts of snow and what seemed like three months of decent weather. Thanks for watching and commenting Jason!
