👍💕 So glad that you're providing these intelligent women with their voice via this medium. Thank you, Chris! And rock on, sisters. You were the inspiration behind and around the music that we so loved and still enjoy.
Nice chat, ladies! I saw Peter live about 3-4 times the past 12 years or so. The first time I went was in Baltimore and he was doing the Frampton comes alive album in its entirety for the 40th anniversary and I thought I would show up just to pay some respect to an old guitar player and about halfway through the first song I said to myself “this guy is serious. Dead serious.” I was utterly amazed at the way he played at these late dates. It is something I will never forget. I hope he is doing as well as possible. I know that he has a nerve affliction as do I now. It’s very hard to do anything when you’re attacked in this fashion physically and I’ve seen him play some acoustic shows recently, so I hope that bodes well for him moving forward. I was genuinely upset when I found out he was sick. Very nice show Chris! ❤
You girls were so blessed to come of age in such a great time in history. It seems like eons ago now, but you were the first group of women to have the freedom that The Pill gave you. You also helped bring the influence of ‘the East’ into popular culture.
Read 'Wifedom' by Anna Funder if you want to hear about artists 'forgetting' their wives' influence. Eileen O'Shaughnessy, an amazing writer and poet, George Orwell's first wife, had a dreadful life supporting him in appalling circumstances, going to Spain during the civil war before he did and being much more involved than he was, coming up with the idea of '1984', and much, much more. And she gets no mention - it was all me, me, me... it was ever thus.
Thank you, Chris!
Love this x

glad no mention of penny....
What band plays the intro music, is it Humble Pie?
P.S. I would have loved to have known what songs were hers ~
"Lines on my Face" I think is a good guess...Fig Tree Bay?
