Maui mother calls on school to take action after she says daughter harassed, bullied

- A Maui mother of five is raising awareness of the problem of bullying in schools. She says her eight-year old daughter is being targeted.

This type of training begins in the home. Parents need to be more involved with what their children are doing, talk to them about what is happening in school and know their child, be involved with them, talk to them. And for the sake of the community and their child, if they are exhibiting this behavior, DON'T make excuses for them, make them accountable for their behavior.
She’s just a baby. For God sake, school and counselors need to intervene NOW!!! Shame on those bullies.
No excuses for such a wonderful young lady to be treated so badly.
Sexually harassed and rocks thrown at her are serious offenses but teasing and name calling is just part of growing up.
Omg 😱 what!!!? Her daughter is beautiful. The greatest revenge is to live as she is beautifully and to show that there cowardly and there ugliness of wanting to hurt by bullying is because of there unhappiness
Bully parents make bully kine kids, scrubbs are going to scrubb.
Move , give her a new start . She's going to have to see them forever . Even if they stop , damage is done , seeing them will not be good for her .
As an adult, If I saw that happen, to anyone, I would say something, unfortunately, I would then be harassed for saying something. The older kids in her area need to take time out and keep an eye out for this type of activity. Teach the younger kids around them what to tolerate or not tolerate, by example. See something, say something. Good luck

Solve bullying by bullying? Are kids on remote control that a parent can stop behavior happening not in front of them for when it’s at school? Usually kids are on both sides of the event at some point in life. I wish the school could say punch them back or throw a rock at them. Sometimes natural consequences are the most effective. I sort of get it. If the victim has better aim more serious damage could be done to the bully. That would be a real twist of life unfair to the initial victim. But that is how it was handled years ago. You gave it back. They either figured out why it was wrong by having it done to them or they moved onto another victim where the cycle repeats.

Name the school. I'm sure the other students will know who the bullies are, which will tell us who the parents are.
