Mozart was invited for supper by a senior Cardinal at the Vatican. As a token of appreciation he wrote two vespers for the Cardinal , this being one. I have always loved this piece. Beautiful 🎼🎼🎼

What a delight to hear such wonderful young voices.
There is great choral music, great choirs in a sublime location - rarely are they all together. This rendition is a classic example when all comes together to make for a sublime performance.

Really? I found her vibrato to be a little too shaky, and she’s just slightly off pitch in certain spots.

Karen Noble fair enough, she certainly isn’t terrible and a musician certainly doesn’t have to be perfect to be effective. I think Beethoven once said “a mistake is nothing, playing without passion, that’s unforgivable”.

She is also very young, a student, maybe a bit nervous but
my feeling is that she is gifted, cares and puts her soul into this so lovely piece. My best to you in 2020!

Utterly magnificent, with heart and soul far beyond a professional recording. Yet she probably never realised or thought it, and went off to supper afterwards wondering if she might be late.
