I lived in Russia so I know firsthand how dedicated Russian ballet dancers, opera singers and musicians are to their craft. It is a point of national pride. I studied at a Conservatory in St. Peters’ in Russia (vs Florida) but I did not have the talent or dedication required. The standards of perfection for Russian artists are such that they learn, practice, evolve endlessly. They put their whole heart and soul into their art. It is a long standing tradition. Repetita iuvant (as the Ancient Romans said).

A year or so back someone in the comments was saying how much he enjoyed hearing J. Lezhneva after so long. So I decided to listen. This person I again thank again for making me aware of Julia. Love to hear her interviewed , so enthusiastic and joyful about music and her fellow musicians.
