I subscribed because your video was clear & to the point; which allowed me to feel like I was actually learning this technique instead of processing a bunch of unnecessaryinformation. Great video- thanks a bunch!
I am so glad I found you, specially for being a Canadian. Lived in Canada and have a lot a gratitude for your country. Your are an extremely pleasant person and so talented. Thank you kindly for sharing. I really appreciate it. Brazil. Keep up the good work. Love from S. Paulo.
Hi, thanks for this wonderful demonstration video. Can I use fresh whipped cream icing (instead of buttercream) to get a similar concrete effect on my cake? Could you please advise?
I think it would be difficult to use cream cheese. I'd recommend using cream cheese as the filling then my italian meringue buttercream for the outside :)
Love this! I am wondering what are the dimensions of the cake you are using to demonstrate this technique. Appears to be an 8" round but how tall? Thank you so much for sharing your talents.

This tutorial is so great! I’m wondering if it would work as well with Swiss meringue buttercream? That’s usually what I use.
Thanks! Yes Swiss is basically the same.
Красота!!!!!

This is a 6" diameter 4.5" tall cake :)
Hi! What is the width and height of the cake? Is it 10” wide?
Hi! It’s 6” diameter, about 4.5” tall
When using two eight inch pans would I need to double the IMB?
Yes a double batch should be good!
