aw thanks Ben :) I've said no to lots and lots of them but I couldn't see anything wrong with wearing a cool shirt and telling everyone where I got it.
Haven’t watched one of your vids for a while but am a bigger fan now for sure... really like how you just say “play a Cadd9” or “use Em pentatonic” instead of the painful “put your ring finger on the B string, 3rd fret” vids that are 20 minutes long and actually teach less of the song. Keep up the good work!
That's a dope tee and a GORGEOUS geetar. Look at you thrivin and struttin your sponsors. I'm proud of you! *errrbody says he's lookin good- the jammin' lad knows it's understood... Crouton*
it's an easter egg nobody would get but me - I actually learned this song when I was 12 from my guitar teacher on that very guitar :) it used to have a black pickguard, but my student Brian made me that wood one, I think it looks fancy now :)
@@RyanLendt It definitely has some fancy character to it :) You were playin songs attacking the manipulation in the institutions of religion and government- at 12 years old lol. Hell yeah, baby rebel Ryan!!
Absolutely classic album, a band that played the local circuit when I was 16 introduced me to Live, great lesson Ryan. I would quite like a lesson on The Dam at Otter Creek seeing as you have such a liking of throwing copper ;)
Live....serious songwriting and just a great band in general. Some of the lyrics they penned are the best in my opinion...in my musical infancy they left a great mark, with a great body of work! Thanks for this Ryan! And thanks for your diversity and humor! Love your content!!!!!!
Thanks Ryan. I learnt Selling The Drama (I initially abbreviated it to STD but thought better of it!), when it came out and then forgot over the years. A quick nostalgia trip required me to re-learn it and I couldn’t have found an easier and more enjoyable way to do so!
@@RyanLendt I've still got my first. it's a 95 Peavey predator. I'm not sure they even make them anymore. Apart from my 70's Univox, it is my oldest guitar. My only guitar up until last year.
@@RyanLendt maybe about my Phase 4, which is an eastwood re-issue. The real thing I got was a few weeks ago. It's a Phase 3. Dude the action on this thing is insane! Check out my channel, the last few videos I did were on it. Action is so low I barely have to press the strings, and to my surprise, it's actually intonnated!
Would you mind playing the song... like if it was just you... the "vocals" and a guitar? What arrangement whould you bring up to sustain the vocals? Hope i could make miself clear. Thanks.
Hey Ryan I have a question and a request. Have you ever heard of streetlight manifesto? If so I would love if youd break down the song "a better place a better time" I been wanting to learn it and would love if you broke it down for me
When I was a kid I would walk 4 miles up hill both ways in the snow to get to school. My mom would give me a hot potato to keep my hands warm and that was my lunch. Yeah. I'm old. And I meant Niel Armstrong, but Niel Young might approve too.
Thank you ryan😊 Also thank you for saying my name right a lot of people pronounce it lindl and it’s so weird because it’s Lin dell so thank you again😂🙌🏻
3/13/20. One Doctor mentioned that you should wash your NOSTRILS too, along with your hands and face with soap and water. Put warm, soapy water on your finger and go 1/4 inch up your nostrils to wash them. Then get a tissue and gently blow your nose. Also brush your teeth and TONGUE. So before you go to bed, wash your hands, face, and nostrils with soap and water; and brush your teeth and tongue with toothpaste. The Doctor also mentioned gargling with a mouthwash(which I don’t do unless I’m with a girlfriend. I don’t like that ‘burning’ sensation from the mouthwash. I think a mouthwash may do more harm than good.) Take care, Ryan.
I use saltwater as mouthwash, I didn't read this anywhere I just had the idea myself, I have a feeling this will be right up your alley :) You can even splurge and get the weird volcano salt or pink salt and it still won't even noticeably cost anything, plus you get the minerals in your body.
P.S., Now I really have to get a second guitar that can be kept half step down tuned so it's ready to play both this song and my Bound for the Floor by Local H song !! 🎸 👍
Lucky for me I use amazon subscribe and save and always have plenty of toilet paper on hand at a discount and without going to the store. No panic over butts in the Lendt household. I hereby recommend this strategy to everyone for financial and mental well being, regardless of pandemic.
I've never been happier to see a UA-camr with a sponsor :) Congrats, Ryan!
aw thanks Ben :) I've said no to lots and lots of them but I couldn't see anything wrong with wearing a cool shirt and telling everyone where I got it.
especially since I never buy myself clothes of the non-golf variety...

thanks for jiving Lynx, I appreciate your kindness :)
C octave Chord! Move along in kind. Finally have that sound I've been looking for Thank you kindly! Subscribed!
yay! welcome to the party X!
That album (throwing penny now) is solid from start to finish and left to right. Great lesson as always! Thanks man.
but not front to back? how about WNW To ESE? I think you have a lot of thinking to do... go to the coner.
That LIVE album was the soundtrack to a very interesting summer of my youth .... thanks for reminding of said summer.
Hmmmm cool T-Shirt penny man
what is a yoot?

That's awesome!

You would have no way of knowing this, but I'm actually still doing it. Thanks for the request Chris :)
Ryan Lendt it’s a slippery slope!
I would die for a Dam at Otter Creek lesson

glad you had a good time wayne :)
Classic song. Underrated band in my opinion. Mental jewelry and Throwing copper are among my favorite albums
cheers to that Marco
Learnin it tomorrow! You’re on a roll!
thanks Tango :)
Lucky I had this Live album on CD, because if it was on vinyl I would've worn it out bad. Excellent choice for an excellent lesson!
I thank you my good kow :)
I like that song, is been a long time no hear it. Thanks, is possible to play it the same on acoustic?
The CDC just came out with a statement that you are unequivocally NOT allowed to play this on an acoustic. But I say it's ok.
Ryan Lendt The CDC may take our guitars due to the You know what
Damn good tutorial! Cleaner than he does it himself. I just saw it with my own eyes on a recent tour upload
Man! Can’t keep up with all the awesome songs you’re teaching us! But keep going please!
the good news is the videos don't expire :)
That is a badass strat Ryan!
it's the one my folks bought me when I was 12. 1994 MiM - I've changed a few things about it though :)

Eggggggxcellent!!!......some Throwing Copper action
I don't think any of them were pre 1982 so I was really just throwing zinc :(
Live has one guitar player, Chad Taylor. Sometimes the singer, Ed Kowalczyk, strums one as well. Great lesson thanx!!

very clear Rodrigo - that's a good livestream topic, maybe i'll see you at one some day :)
Bro you know every favorite alternative of mine. Awesome! (Must be the leaves on the shirt)
don't tell my mom
Ryan Lendt. My mom is a woodstock card carrying hippie. Secrets safe with me
Cheers Ryan. Legend 👌
God i wish i still had my electric guitar this song is just spine chilling
works just as well on an acoustic :)

Good lesson
Shirt approved by grandpa Niel.
I have a mixtape my wife made in 8th grade and this song made the cut. Looking forward to trying it out tonight.
Old Man, look at my shirt.

Nissan570Lsx Sorry. Gotta check for his Space Oddity lesson then.
Harvest moon! I should have waited to wear that shirt today... also one of my student's grandpa's walked on the moon. his last name is Anders.
Ryan Lendt or we can celebrate my Grandmother Katrina. She walked on sunshine
Could you do Turn My Head next? It's on their album Secret Samadhi.
thanks for the idea Joseph
Wait i understood the "Throwing Copper" joke lmaooooo 😂😂😂😂😂

that and you farted. twice.

it's because you already feel so special that this little bump wasn't even noticed :)
