My students aren't on Chromebooks and aren't all Google savvy, so even though I use Google classroom, I was looking for a video that would help them understand how to collaborate on the Google Jam from THEIR perspective. Thanks!
I haven't created a video like that for students. It's a good idea. This year I did a video series on Google Classroom....I'll add Jamboard to the list!
@@jrsowash FWIW, I used a collaborative shared Jamboard yesterday and it worked great, UNTIL one of the students clicked the "Clear Frame" button. Since Jamboard doesn't have history, that was a real bummer. In future, I will definitely create a copy of the untouched Jamboard activity as backup and have "DO NOT CLEAR FRAME" be lesson one to students. Thanks again!
I teach reading virtually. I am not tech savvy at all. I need an elementary step by step instruction as to how to use Jamboard allowing my student to interact with it. Can uou send me a link for a beginner beginner instruction. P?
I love these ideas and using Jamboard, but I have one class with students (high school) who think it is cool to hit clear frame. Everyone's work disappears. Is there a way to make it a teacher control so students cannot delete everyone's work?
Not at this time. 😕 I would only recommend Jamboard for non-critical classwork because it lacks some of the admin controls available in docs and slides.

Jamboard wasn’t so easy to grade with G Classroom rubric - had to open in a new tab for each student.
