That's clear enough mate. Well done. There are plenty of people that have issues with view ranger and this should help them.
I’ve tried to use this app… it’s shit, especially for anyone in a 4x4.
My advice:
Join GLASS, the TW2 map is THE best green laning map you’ll find. It’s constantly being updated to show any restrictions, hazard or road closures. You can see other peoples comments on the lane and photographs of their adventures.
The green lane association does amazing work to help keep green lanes open and keep them safe by running projects all over the country. Whether it’s repairing damaged lanes or signposting them for easier navigation… it’s seriously worth joining, as well as access to the map you’ll get a members pack every 6 months with magazines, stickers, newsletters and green lane etiquette leaflets (to pass on to less respectful strangers you may meet on the road)
Outdooractive app has taken over viewranger. But the app works in almost the same way. I will do an updated video soon.
Yes please, that would be great as I can’t see that it works for motorbikes sadly

Looks like the app has gone now and the replacement is hopeless for motorbikes/green lanes. Any other suggestions from anyone would be great. Thanks for vid. Cheers from Isle of Man

Good video man I’m from Kent too so will check them out however I wouldn’t recommend solo riding unless very experienced I had my bike fall onto me down a hill and was stuck until my mate helped 👍🏼

Which phone holder are you using? I can't find a good one to use on my wr450f
The only thing I found I didn’t like about view ranger, it doesn’t tell you when you are on roads or green lanes. The last route I done had a lot of road work.
TROs are legal documents that restrict or prohibit the use of the highway network, in line with The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Often means they have restrictions on which vehicles can use them or are closed.

Wish... I brought one... I paid 14 pounds... Its great USB port and contactless.. problem is its coming from China.. 3 to 4 weeks in post... Another problem i had was the weather especially the sun.. Very easy fix use your imagination and fabricate a shield to go around the top... Good luck...

Yeah it will give you an idea but tbh best just to get out there and find stuff. Most people that upload are satisfied with boreing lanes and ur spend most the time bored or flatten ur battery. Explore and have fun.
This app was great when veiw ranger but its total shite now its changed to outdoor active. Don't know what do go for now!
