The British wizard build💀
OI you gotta license for that 0.2 inch knife?
Bin that knoife!
Goated comment
@@teldoroteldoro4476inches, in the UK, fair enough
The London Special
That Haligtree invasion with the knife spam was brilliant, that host had no idea how to counter the 100 damage strategy
I believe the host thought Chase was using normal throwing knives and was waiting for him to run out but that wasn't the case
@@roninshogun4eva i think it's really dumb that people without the dlc can be invaded by people with it... poor dude was probably clueless xD
@@zerzo7223you can give dlc items to people without the dlc as well

>Smithscript dagger is a perfect left hand weapon
>Uses smithscript dagger in left hand
To be fair he uses both weapons equally.
well hes using it as a support weapon, smithscript daggers kinda suck on their own
When you explain it that way, the off-hand dagger is effectively a budget, no-FP reduvia AOW. I can see the appeal!
With a faster projectile(?)
I saw you can put a parry on it too. I don't play PvP so I dunno how useful it is for that, but for PvE it seems like a nice utility knife
@@jty9631I was running it on cold infusion with my sorcery build for when I was running low on fp and I absolutely loved it.
I think it would be neat to see Chase do a play through series with Taunter's Tongue active the entire time. Could spice it up even by announcing when he plans to play so fans could try their luck at taking him down mid-run. Could do it on NG+ so he could play with different kits for different sections of the game or somesuch?
This would be fun
He did this already, on dark souls 3. "Dried finger playthrough" I think it was with lost or prod.
@@mustardsouls1005 Fair! I just was thinking of how often he calls the NPCs his teammates, and how regularly how shows off 3-v-1 wins it would be a fun 'Chase vs The World' kind of series
I love that Chase's number one method of killing in this episode was by way of Hosts jumping off cliffs 😆
“Is that a Moonveil or are you just happy to see me?”
Can’t it be both? 😏
0:07 "One of" lmao
Really hope they do another DLC and add more of this weapon class
The other knives are classified as claws but benefit from the talisman so I'd consider those the other throwing knives. However it's classes of weapons like these that make me call a second dlc in a year or so...
@@walkingglasses6264they said they won’t
@@lightningjd7301if anything it won’t happen til the next update but even then they’ll most likely have new weapon types as well
@@lightningjd7301if anything it won’t happen til the next update but even then they’ll most likely have new weapon types as well
16:15 Watching a wizard being smooched by a zombie must be very gratifying for Chase. 😂
This seems like a really novel yet effective build. I wouldn’t have thought to combine these two, good shit Chase.
another fun way to use the dagger is to fire infuse it to reset frostbite, while main hand applies frost.
I feel like everytime Chase sees someone using taunter's tongue he says "that's pretty cool"
It's a shame the knife doesn't have a hair more range. I constantly feel like I'm Just out of range with it
I would totally trade some more range for a little less damage. Turn it into a utility weapon.
@@OnzagaoftheEast that would be very good for pve too to keep up poise damage
@@OnzagaoftheEast It actually was buffed a little in range and they turned down the damage for it so you wish has been granted in a way.
Really ☠️ Give me more reasons to double nagi you when seeing this weapon equiped
I knew it was just a matter of time before I’d see this.
I’m 10 seconds into the video and I already know Chase is going to end worlds with this
Of course. He’s going through all weapons.
Nanaya’s torch is a perfect left hand weapon
Beat me by 20 seconds 😂
One day…
Stop, every Nanaya's torch joke makes me mad
@@Batateto_Sus nice!! 😂
He did the smithscript dagger just to spite Nanaya, literally anything else.
Right off the bat I used the throwing knives in my left hand for the dlc and it brings me joy to see chase dominate with it in pvp
I'm liking the editing you've started putting into your videos like adding in little clips or the small images with info in them. Makes them more informative along with their entertainment.
(Also you should try a charged R2 spear talisman build on the Zwei or new colossal with RKR. Always fun one shotting people with an R2.)
I love how lot of invasions resemble that Dooku vs Yoda duel in Star Wars episode 2, where Dooku flings lightning and force throws at Yoda, who deflects them all, before realizing that this fight has to be solved by blades instead :D Lot of hosts just spam spells until they are ouf of FP before even trying to use R1 :D
Elden Ring: Rabbaths Cannon turns you into Megaman!!
the starlined sword turns you into zero lol
@@mfspectacular more like vergil from dmc
Chase confusing the Sunflower and Gaius boss pre-room is always a treat!
18:30 Once I invaded and got clipped in a tree at the top of Belurat. The party was all buffing next to the boss room and just waved at me lmao
Love it. Good way to maintain pressure, though i sometimes wish it was just a smidge longer. Jump attacks can score easy headshots.
Everything I have ever asked for, months of begging. I love this channel
17:32 it dropped its stance after you laughed at it lol
"Is that a moonveil or are u just happy to see me" XDD
Chase likes to play with his food. 5:57
I was waiting for this ever since I started playing around with the dagger when the DLC came out. I loved the Smith script weapons but the daggers alone felt weird but as an offhand was so good as a finisher for pvp that people don't see coming
21:40 What a perfect double jump attack 😂
You know what else you can hold in your left hand? The Nanaya’s torch xD
Was so excited for this video !! The concept of an offhand throwing-knife type weapon has always been intriguing to me, hoping to maybe see some Poison or Frostbite action in this one. Love your stuff as always
I've been asking for 'em and I will be satisfied with what I got! Good stuff, Chase! (although I wouldn't be disappointed with more smithscript daggers shenanigans)
I like to imagine Chase as a very cheerful Khornate warrior
5:50 Chase finding a way to bully someone with the worst weapon in the game. 😂😂
Thank you Chase, I used the dagger with bleed on it similar to you and it allowed me to finally beat the last boss of the DLC! Being able to keep ticking up bleed helped a lot. It's a nifty little tool to have!
Throwing dagger in left hand and backhand blade in right hand is a perfect setup for a ninja cosplay.
Yes I did do exactly that.
Have a seal swap for pyromancy and you become Sasuke
I saw someone today doing an Owl cosplay from Sekiro. Throwing dagger in the offhand with a great katana in the main hand. Basically what chase is doing, but an old man instead of a lady lol
Honestly I really like the daggers, the jumping R2 especially gets a lot of headshots. Unfortunately they don't have enough threat to really work in invasions on their own, but I can see the being very annoying in 1 vs 1 battles. I wish they could use self buff ashes of war.
Id love to see some smithscript daggers only invasions.
RGK is so good you can run smithscript dagger offhand and still win
With jump attacks and godskinswaddling cloth u can heal with 2 powerstanced smithscrpt dagger jumping throws
I've been eagerly waiting for a *smithscript dagger build
18:05 That's the first time I've ever seen someone crouch heal lmao. Didn't even know you could do that
It’s quick if you’ve got use both pots
I don’t think I can express how much I’ve loved your videos. I’m a new sub and never liked PVP really, but you’ve shown me how much fun it can be and I’ve gotten into it myself. I’m nowhere near as good as you but your positive attitude has been what I’ve been trying to keep with me, even when gank squads T-bag. lol. Thanks Chase.
Rakshasa with weed cutter is just Rivers of Blood all over again
just dodge
Right when I was thinking of doing an Owl build similar to this, Chase drops this build. Good stuff!
Wizards mentioned at least 11 times:
12:50 Alright, so he summoned a Wizard, a full Wizard
15:50 Hey Wizard
16:01 Take out your Wizard
16:06 Wizard
16:12 Why do Wizards
16:14 That's what you deserve Wizard
17:20 Being that little annoying Wizard
19:33 Wizard?
22:03 Oh my God it's a Wizard, swimming bird, you're a Wizard
Since I started counting there were 4829.9 mentionings of Wizards across 406 videos.
Using it left handed is exactly what I've been doing with it on my frostbite mage build. Having just enough faith to use it, and putting flame art affinity on it in your left hand means you still have access to your ash of war, and a quick, unlimited ammo way to reset frostbite, and it's just an easy switch to your staff. It's been super handy
It amazes me how much fp people are willing to just throw into a wall instead of moving
Glad you’re showing this thing some love. I dont care how bad it sucks, i love the concept of it.
I had used that *exact* build a month or so ago just with some incants as an extra tool lol
I had a lot of fun with it
A perfect weapon if your goal is to almost never hit, and do nearly no damage when you do
one day, a host or a phantom will give chase a hard fight that requires ultimate skills, because apparently these people are L2 anti-dodge warriors
When that day comes chase will do everything in his power to drag the fight out to have more fun
He doesn't post losses. So don't hold your breath
Love the videos chase
Elden ring has been the obsession and you are at the main reason
I find minor erdtree + holyground kinda stupid and sorcery sword on the zweimage build pretty potent especially with gavel
the dung pots is such peak bm
I have not stopped using them since I found about them 😂 perfect bm
such a clever build! i'm eager to try all sorts of things in combination with left-handed smithscript dagger now. thanks a lot for the amazing idea!
I infused it with heavy and combined it with the Zweihander. After the latest patch, they work so well together. Thank you!
I just got to Final Boss of DLC ( in case others haven't, no spoilers and none for me plz in replies) but MY GOD I have been killed from laughter multiple times wondering how I'm supposed to even react to some of those moves, and that's only phase one and 2 lmaooooooooooo
“Is that a moonveil or are you just happy to see me”
Not what i've been asking for but i'll take it! Thanks Chase!
Weapon show case of the smithscript dagger (X)
Weapon show case of the rakshasa (O)
Also, thanks for showing off the smithscript dagger! I was really frustrated trying to use it as a main weapon (ala V), but maybe I'd have more fun doing something along these lines...
There comes a point at which someone is so good at a game it becomes an honor to get destroyed by them, Chase, I would consider it an honor to slowly watch my healthbar go down as you throw knives at me.
I did this early on, when the dlc came out. Super fun even in PvE
the daggers are even more powerful on their own especially with scattershot throw as the ash of war. it turn it into a literal shotgun far more potent than any others. i've one tapped quite a few pwople with it
I dont know if many ppl know this but Great Katanas have the Heavy-Attack-Cancel Animation like curved and estocs. And a poke or vertical slash afterwards (light or heavy), and sometimes is a true combo that catches ppl off.
Saludos from Arg.
The dung pot guy looked like a fun dude (no pun)
I can definitely see him do some troll invasions with wrath of god
Elden Ring: Nanaya’s Torch I A Perfect Left Hand Weapon
i really wish the smithscript dagger had just a little more range and status proc. I was running a poison smithscript in the offhand with the Milady and i never once procced poison. and it felt like i was in melee range anyways when i needed to hit.
Love the content have given me so many ideas for builds and playthroughs and fun duals and invasions .... would you ever consider putting in your videos where you get each weapon in the weapon show cases?
4:05 homeboy hunter sitting in the lobby for an hour just to get sent home the instant he spawns into an invasion D:
Chase: "Thank you so much for watching and see you guys in the next video! Good bye! Good bye!"
Chase's character: 🗿
Love your videos Chase. Are there more weird weapon combos you can showcase? Like a greatsword/straightsword pair with good synergy and the like? It was cool seeing this unlikely combination.
I’ve been using the SS dagger in my left hand and milady on the main hand. Such a great combination
The dung pot activated dark souls 3 flashbacks
That katana is too op in pvp
was talking about this weapon with my brother last week with the consective hits talisman damage potential, what a timing.
Swift spear is great with multi hit talisman
Short spear better in every metric
@@QuantumTelephone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Another day another Chase. Thank you for doing what you do everyday bro, keep up the amazing work
I love offhanding it with Spear of the Impaler. It's super aggressive and fits my playstyle perfectly because they both consume a relatively small amount of stamina. :)
"I have some long range chip" as the daggers disappear in front of the enemy 2 meters in front of him
yo Sirisplays here i stayed in the long tunnel because of the hammer and the phantoms after that i tried to go more towards the grace so i didn’t walk far if i died. but gg bro, someone told me i was in your video
You invaded me and Majestic Swan in your pure strength build, this is Swans build. Glad you enjoyed it enough to try it out! Well met. Until next time 🤙
My daily lunch break vids keep em coming 🙏🏼
YES. Glad to see another smithscript weapon being used.
The best move the daggers have is the jumping R2. If you spec specifically for this weapon the damage is insane.
SMITHSCRIPT DAGGER BUILD LFG!!!
An uchigata build utilizing the new 2handed sword talisman and the rellana's cameo to make unsheathe deal crazy damage
Chase and Devonia, truly a horrifying teamup.
Finally someone gets it. I've been using thos dagger left hand so much
I've been doing this with the Bloody Helice, it's a lot of fun!
Dude, Chase isnt just slayer hes a strategist. When you want to up your pvp game you gotta think like him. Planning out your attacks and combos and situations sometimes works and sometimes doesnt, its when it doesnt and hes still able to wipe 3-4 guys while keeping a chuckle or laugh with him
The knives, so many knives. This is real life madness buildup.
at 17:07 I think you got headshot by the helice and getting headshot is a kin more to the statuses like bleed or frostbite which both staggers you somewhat, no matter what. That or getting headshot automatically gives the headshot damage numbers "poise break" level of power.
I've been maining these through the DLC lately. Gradually whittled down an invader flask by flask over the course of a few minutes, without taking a hit, only to finally get oneshot by his AoW. He pointed down at me. The absolutely audacity.
I knew this one was coming after you saw the one guy use it. I've used it for a bit as well
i'm surprised you didnt occasionally use the shotgun ash with the dagger
I just obliterated with this build in pvp bro and received the message “i hate chase a bro” that’s how yk your doing something right man
As always, nice video ChaseTheBro 👍🏻
Should rename as the Noob Cutter
I really like having the dueling shield in my offhand while i have a straight sword or a spear with some ranged aowin my mainhand, it makes invasions really fun cuz i can attack while defending so i dont take dmg. could be a fun vid👍
4:32 This is what made me stop using the dagger. The range is super short.
Couple that with the low status buildup if you aren't dual wielding and the so-so damage and it's a weapon that's hard to love even if it does save you on consumable farming.
I am not slapping on a talisman just for a small range boost to a side weapon.
