The chord progression of this piece’s main theme subconsciously inspired part of a big composition I’m working on right now (using strings with a solo viola, piano, and glockenspiel). I knew what I had written sounded familiar, but couldn’t place where for a while until I realized it evoked this piece.
Absolutely beautiful. I keep coming back to listen to this track. And by the way, when I first listened to this I was planning to get my first strings library and I liked CSS very much but it was after hearing this piece I lost all doubt and purchased CSS. After I started working with CCS my appreciation for your work grew even more. You’re a very talented composer with an incredible programming skills. Looking forward to more of your compositions.
Between this great library and your absolutely brilliant articulation + CC programming I don’t think any blind listener could recognize this is not a live orchestra. That’s an amazing accomplishment.
Did you just make me cry with your music? In 3 mins, all pain and regret of my whole life just slapped me left and right on the cheek. Such an amazing piece! ♥♥♥♥
I have no words. At every modulation I was like " No way ! what's is that chord ? I need to understand ! ". You made me feel emotionnal. Great Job. Please continue.
This is awesome! Thank you so much for posting. I just purchased CSS, CSB and CSWW and this is very inspiring! Definitely hear the inspiration in the middle from Joe Hisaishi's "Memory" from "Departures," a piece I have arranged and performed on cello / piano as well. (Okuburito). Love it! You are quite talented both as a composer and also your skills with the VST library.
ok, this is not just music, it is an experience. It is obvious that you have done an awesome job here with cc programming. No need (but have to) mention that composition and orchestration is exceptional. This is GOOD music worthy to be listened (at least once a day)
Beautiful music and great programming and sound. This sounds to me like a live recording! Can I please ask if you altered any E.Q settings for the strings? They sound so beautiful.
I can hear why you named it "Cliché". I can picture the trailer in my head. Black screen, 70% white text, fade in "It will make you laugh". Fade to black and back to text" "It will make you cry." Another fade to black and back: "It will make you reach out to your family." But, I wish all cliché music was as beautiful as this one. And the fact that you named it Cliché is why it's so good, because it knows what it is.
Absolutely beautiful piece, gave me nostalgia... Say, do you have any tutorials or courses that you have or recommend on how to compose in this genre of music? I'm kinda curious about the thought process behind it
hmm...not sure if there are tutorials out there. For me, it was learning from tonal harmony and counterpoint textbooks with a lot of listening and experiments.
Excellent piece my friend! I'm assuming you composed this yourself? This piece reminds me of the Spirited Away soundtrack, maybe "One Summer's Day" or something. Keep up the good work!
This is one of those melodies that feels like it has just always existed. It’s so beautiful and new but also very familiar at the same time. I love it
This is probably one of the most beautiful things I have ever listened to. EVER. This is amazingly well done. Coming from a composer, I am speechless.
I agree. The most beautiful thing I, too, have ever heard. EVER

This is so simple and so beautiful. Raw emotion captured here - even crazier its programmed. Thanks for sharing!
